Got a decent experience today - finally not a forever wait to get my mobile order. Maybe things are turning around.

Almost every time I go, there's this one girl working who is incredibly rude. It feels like she has zero patience and barely acknowledges customers. It really puts a damper on what should be a simple, fun stop for a quick bite. I wish the management would address this because the service definitely needs improvement. I'd think twice before coming back if this keeps up. read more

We went in to get two limeade slushes. We were in line for 20 minutes before our oder was even taken. When we finally got to the pickup window (30 minutes), there was one(1)person taking the orders, doing the cooking and delivering. Only positive is the young gal with red hair she's wonderful. We ordered drinks and food after 40 minutes of waiting we left. She was apologetic and I understand it wasn't her fault. We waited for legitimately 45 minutes for our order. At 45 minutes, they brought us our drinks but not our food. It took another 30 MINUTES before they got their act together and got us our food. They didn't make the drinks correctly and the food was cold when we got it. AND we didn't get our ranch. Fuck this Sonic; get your act together. read more

i used to work here and the food here is horrible and the staff gets treated so badly by the gm. How he still has his job shows they don't care about this store. The store is filthy and the ice cream machine rarely gets cleaned and the grease traps like under the fryer are hard and don't get cleaned for years. The fries are held in the warmer ALL hours of the day. They don't actually do temps so you never know if the food is in the danger zone. I was a manager under the age of 18, and john just took advantage of everyone. He doesn't ever do his job and tries to make employees do it for him so he can do who knows what while on the clock (leaves the property) to meet minimum hours to get his salary. So I recently dropped my daughter off to school today, I'm so proud of her 'cause she's going to school to be a teacher, but I donno about all those expensive dance lessons from her roommate's boyfriend that she's having me pay for. We dropped by Sonic's to grab a bite to eat, and she got some liberal Oreo Milkshake while I just I got hamburger. I ordered a cheeseburger and a shake and then was informed that they were out of the shake I had wanted. I've found less stale fries under the seat of my car and I'm convinced that the rest of the food was cooked the day before and left under the heater as it was hard as a rock. I'm not usually the one to complain but this is ridiculous. I've been at this location many times, and have encountered a few problems but not big enough to complain about, except for tonight! I ordered 2 shakes online and one of them I said no whip cream and no cherry. I go ahead and go to sonic and check in. 5 minutes after arriving a lady comes out asking me what I ordered, so I told her and she went back inside. We waited another 5ish minutes and comes back out with our shakes. Like I said one wasn't suppose to have whip cream but they both did. I waited to drink my shake until I got home, and decided to take the whip cream off, I took about half of my drink full of whip cream and put it in the trash,they decided not to fill my cup full of icecream but full of whipcream. A pathetic excuse of a Sonic. As someone who's had male friends work here, the general manager (Ask for John :)) is a total creep, talks about women behind their back and what they would be like in bed. The staff is a bunch of undertrained teenagers who are rude and dumb as can be, can't get an order right or flip a burger. The wait is always long and the food isn't even good if it comes out right. Former employee here, I have worked at a plethora of sonics within this franchise and by a landslide this is the worse and it has everything to do with the management. The "General Manager" (a 40 year old man with children) is rarely at the store and when he is the most he is doing is flirting with the female employees(whether they're underage or not), ontop of that he has personal text messages with them and plays iMessage games with them where he will call them and bug them to play him back, he has little to no conversation with any of the male employees and will throw raises and management positions at the female employees. Ontop of that, half of the food is expired/has mold on it, the ice cream machine smells of rotten dairy constantly, the kitchen has years upon years of grease build up, they use the leftover bacon from the day before, the only time they give a decent attempt at cleaning is if they know someone of great importance is coming and even then nothing is done. if that doesn't turn you off enough, i will add that most if not all of the food is held for hours on end. Do not expect a change anytime soon as you can see from past reviews they have no intention of improving this store. You would be better off starving. x read more

I've been disappointed time and time again. I ordered cheese fries when I first moved here to Laramie, the cheese wasn't melted and the fries were WAY under cooked. Now, tonight I decided to give it another go. I'm pregnant now, and my SO brought me a sprite from Sonic (their drinks always are amazing), upon seeing where it was from my mind automatically went to cheese fries- and now I couldn't stop thinking about it. I asked him to run and get me some cheese fries and a double cheeseburger, I specifically asked him to ask the people at sonic to make sure the fries are cooked and cheese is melted. (Mind you- my SO always gets my order right and even confirmed to me before he left the drive thru that he ordered this) He gets done and bring my food to my work to which I'm ecstatic. All to be disappointed. My fries were hardly cooked and cheese wasn't melted. My burger was burnt, and now I'm sitting here at work hungry and sad. Mind you- I'm not a "Karen". I don't go out of my way to leave bad reviews and be a harsh critic. I'm 21, pregnant, and hungry. And all I wanted was a decent burger and some cheese fries. If you're used to a sonic that takes pride in their food and work (I'm from Asheville, NC and our sonic never failed me) don't go to this one. I have been by this Sonic several times. I have had to drive off from both the drive thru and the regular parking due to such long waits on numerous occasions. You could seriously spend your entire lunch break waiting in the drive thru line at this place. In fact today I just drove off from the drive thru line after waiting an extended period of time after ordering. I just placed my lunch order on Jimmy Johns website. I expect to be eating soon after this review is finished. The cost of the sandwich,drink and delivery will be $1.00 more than what my order was going to be at sonic for a small stuffed jalapeno and a route 44 dr. pepper. They have a new owner, but apparently things haven't changed. They have extremely slow/ terrible service. We watched 3 cars order after us, an get their meals and drinks before us. Our meal came (jumbo family popcorn chicken and chilli cheese tots) and the chicken was luke warm. We came here knowing the food would be better, but McDonalds almost has better service and hotter food. A big disappointment. If you do come.... Only come for their drinks. Not the food. read more

Definitely has good food and drinks but they make you wait forever to get your food. Last time i went they had me sitting in my car waiting for my food for over 30 minutes. There wasn't even a lot of cars very minimal amount and they still took such a long time. Was not happy after getting my food. I went one time after that and they had me sitting in my care for a long time again and once i got my food i checked to see if everything was there and they were missing the main meal. Ordered my son a kids hot dog wacky pack at the drive thru. When I got the hot dog it seriously looked like a slim jim, it was so old, overcooked and wrinkly. Now obviously I'm not making the best food choices for my son by ordering him a Sonic hot dog, but at least it should look edible! I walked it back in and asked politely for a new one. They promised it would be right out. After twenty minutes parked in a stall waiting, I called them to get an update. As far as Sonics go, this one isn't great. Their drive thru service was terrible. I hadn't visited a Sonic for about 6 months and when I went back, I was sadly reminded that it isn't a high quality place. Maybe they just needed more staff, but they were slow. After waiting 5 minutes at the drive thru intercom, I just drove around to the window. I see it has alot of business on the weekend nights and still seems to be a place to go for the Wyotechers and high schoolers. read more
