Seriously the best doughnuts ever!! They are so light and soft and the lemon filled ones are divine!!

Breakfast burritos were soggy, do not seem freshly made, but donuts were good. I would probably only go for the donuts early.

There's nothing like starting your day with a donut, more specifically, a Laramie daylight donut. I've been to a number of donut shops around the country (including some of the best rated like VooDoo Donuts in Portland) and I'd put this one up against any/all of them. The donuts are always fresh, always consistent, and always top-tier -- and at a great price! Any time friends or family come to town or the office needs a pick-me-up, DD always makes the occasion special. The folks that run this place know what they're doing, I can't imagine Laramie without this staple. read more

I had had an incredibly bad experience at the subway across the street and drove out without getting anything only to see that right across the street was Daylight Donuts kind of like a sign hahaha the place is clean it's quick it's easy to get in and out and the donuts and burritos? Who doesn't love donuts? Haven't been to the actual location itself, but these things are always pretty popular for events (or as bribes). I will always be the glad recipient of a donut and will volunteer to be that recipient. Plenty with nuts and glaze, but my favorite are the coconut cake donuts- yum. Having worked as a donut fryer I have a healthy respect for anyone employed by the production and sale of these fried pastries, no pun intended. Surprisingly, I don't hate them despite the scars on my arm from hot shortening. My ruminations regarding donut manufacturing aside, this is the spot to go for them. You all know what you're getting with Safeway or Albertsons and it's crap. This is the real donut deal. Ask any of the dirty old men who hang out here sipping coffee and shooting the bull on a given morning. It even made a cameo in a recent Teenage Bottlerocket music video (only Laramie's most famous punk rock band). Despite hearing some concerning things about Daylight's employment practices from some buddies of mine who worked there, I wouldn't dream of going up the street to my former employers instead. Order a double espresso and received a mystery drink that was nothing like what I ordered...paid $$$ for nothing. So at any other espresso place the most I have paid is $1.74...I mean really...two shots of espresso and two little spoons of foam? Forget this espresso...I stopped because it lloked convenient on the way out of town...and I was too far out of town to take this &^%$# drink back. read more

This shop is nicely located downtown and right on the corner for an easy in and out. A wonderful selection that you can consume in or out with beverages available. What can one say about a donut shop other than they are good and fresh. Great value as well. Try it next time. read more

Yum! Yum! Yum! We drive to Laramie once a month from our little town in Colorado, and Daylight Donuts is ALWAYS our very first stop! The owner is always willing to fill long-johns for my kids if he doesn't already have what they want. One of these days we will have to get up earlier to get there when the selection is more varied. read more

Every time we come here the owner has been nothing but professional and friendly. It's nice to see the old timers hanging out enjoying their weekly donut and coffee, this shop has an at home feel that I look for in a donut shop. The donuts here are great if they have them... ive gone in 3 times so far and its usually right around 9am or so and there are very few left to pick from. So from my experience the selection is horrible but when others have brought them into work they taste good, like most other donuts. My husband just went in again today and yet again there was nothing left. Very disappointing since this is the only place in town. read more

This place is great! Nice atmosphere, plenty of parking, it's clean. The donuts are really good. The burritos are awesome!! You have to be careful with them you might get addicted. I respect the fact that the owner works the front so much. He is very friendly along with everybody else I have met that works there. I can't believe you see all these positive reviews unless they are from family or friends or those that have never had good fresh bakery, they make their donuts the night before so they are stale by the time you buy them the next morning, nasty. their burritos are disgusting, using the cheapest of the ingredients, the cheese they use is what I would call solidified yellow vegetable oil, the bacon bits are so salty you cant taste bacon, and the hash browns inside are the worst I've ever had, the eggs I would guess are powdered by the consistency and nastiness, If you like their products please try other places in town as your missing out on real food that actually tastes good read more

I walked in on a Friday morning, there was nobody in front of me and nobody behind me. People were pulling in to the parking lot, but there was not a line formed or forming. It was after 8 am, and I am sure it was probably a busy morning, but not busy at the time. I quickly made my way to the counter, barely received a "hello", and a "what can I get you?" I ordered an "assorted dozen of donuts and a dozen donut holes". I then got an obvious eye-roll and an audible sigh of, what I can only assume was frustration, from whom I think was the owner (but I can't say for sure). I'm sorry - I didn't realize my very "difficult" order was such a problem. I guess I was mistaken in assuming that I could order a dozen donuts, from a donut shop, on National Donut Day. I will remember this in the future, as I will not be returning to your place of business. Today you got my business, and you made your sale. I should have told you "Nevermind" and walked out, but I had packed up my infant and drove from the opposite end of town. I had to be back home for an appointment, and did not have time to stop elsewhere. I believe in supporting local businesses, but I also think that is dependent on customer service. I will, in the future, just curb my craving for a donut until I am in Ft. Collins, where I receive a far superior donut with much better customer service. read more
