Since there aren't any Sonic's close to where I live, this was one of my rare times I got to eat here. This location was on the way (via the I-25N) to our trip to Colorado. It was funny since we just parked randomly somewhere not in a port and walked into the Sonic attempting to order. Someone needs to do an overhaul of this place. They are never friendly, very rude to most every customer, they have no sense of urgency. Why in the world should you wait 15+ minutes jist to be helped and then another 30+ minutes just to receive my order. Can't complain to the manager... Because SHES the problem!! These lil kids need new jobs. First the mics were all messed up at the ordering stations and the lady operating was pretty rude when she told us to speak up. So eventually we were at SCREAMING volume. And I (again) screamed my order only for the lady to get it wrong. Then when we asked for the RIGHT order. The recept was printed with the wrong order and we were not able to get the ACTUAL meal. Also lady was kinda rude when we asked for the right order. All these KIDS are very impatient and seem to quite literally HATE their jobs and customers. It seems like every time I come to the sonic they can't properly make their drinks right .I would give the customer service at zero out of 10 every time I order the number one the fries are always cold so I have to request the fries are fresh which they're still not made fresh. I ordered a drink via the Sonic app and got it 20 minutes later. Hardly any ice was in the drink by the time I got it I went through the drive through and explained that my drink didn't have very much ice in it and that iI had to wait quite a while for it. All I wanted was some ice to put in my drink. They wanted to charge me for a cup of ice. Then they argued with me about it and then told me it was because they're shorthanded. Absolute worst Sonic I've ever been to. Traveling through from Colorado to Arizona and stopped in for lunch. Waited about 20 minutes after pushing the red button, but there was no response. Thought maybe it wasn't working, so pulled around and went through the drive through (was really craving those tots). Took almost 10 minutes to get to the window to pay. Once at the window, waited another 10 minutes for someone to collect our money since we were paying cash. Honestly, I think it was just stubbornness that didn't cause us to pull away and go somewhere else by that point. After paying , we waited about 5 minutes for the girl to give us the kid's meal, drinks and a hotdog. We were still waiting on two burgers, two order of tots and an order of cheddar peppers. The girl came back to the window a couple minutes later and asked if we needed something else..... we reminded her that we were waiting on half of our food. She found the bag sitting behind the register and shoved it at us. Now, at this point, I had absolutely no faith in these people, so I checked the bag to ensure we had everything.. and lo and behold.. no tots! We knocked on the window several times. The workers inside glared at us every now and then, but mostly ignored us. Finally an older lady that we hadn't seen earlier opened the window and asked "what!?" My son, who was driving, told her we were missing tots. Her response was unbelievably rude and condescending! She said "we don't have any right now!" And glared. I was surprised by the venom in her voice and told her "well we paid for them..." in which she retorted "I understand that but they are DOWN right now and you're going to have to wait!" At that point, she slammed the window in our faces.. so we sat and waited... again. After just a few minutes, a young, scared looking guy handed us the bag of tots. All and all, we were at this Sonic for about an hour, in which time we noted that several smarter, less stubborn people pulled out of the drive through for a better place to eat. horrible. drive thru line was so long we decided to go to the parking spaces. the employees never acknowledged us when we pressed the red button we waited for about 10 minutes and then decided to go to the drive thru as no one assisted us. it gets even worse we're in line for maybe another 10 minutes and when we finally go to the box to order, again no acknowledgment we had to yell at the box only to be told to wait longer. once we were able to order we asked a question about a holiday coupon and they said that was fine as we continued to order they interrupted us to just order at the window so essentially making us wait even longer. we ended up leaving and going to the McDonald's down the road. horrible service. Can't handle the lunch rush. Lose app orders even when the screen says it's being delivered. Other times the Red button gets a "be right with you" reply and they don't get back to you. Okay, I wrote off sonics a while back due to their widespread lousy food standards. The Las Vegas, New Mexico sonic is an exception. Their hatch green chili cheeseburger was quite delicious. 10/21/19 Normally sonic has amazing staff but for some odd reason I guess this particular location didn't. I drove up to the window and was greeted by this lady named Crystal. She wasn't friendly and had a attitude. She handed me my order and before I got a chance to ask for ketchup she slide the window shut. I just waited until she came back around and to my shock she rudely opened the window and said, "what do you want?" I nicely asked for ketchup and she got some and tossed it into my car and proceeded to walk off and slam the window shut. I've never been treated so rudely. Horrible service. It took 20 MINUTES to get the food. When we finally got it, the food was cold and limp. Gross. One of the hamburgers was all mustard, barely digestible. They totally missed two of our meals, and an entire limeade. We paid for food we didn't even get, but we were so disenchanted with the experienxe that we decided to just go get more food at the Taco Bell next door. Came out hot and quickly, unlike the food at Sonic. I work in a restaurant, so there are no excuses for that kind of disregard and carelessness. I use the app to order ahead and I never have to wait more than 5 minutes. The food is always fresh and the workers are friendly. This would be a 5 star review but the staff needs to be trained on how to accept mobile payment from the app through drive thru, as I had to cancel an order because the manager didn't know how to accept the mobile payment from the app. read more

Just went to sonic and ordered two lemonberry slushes... first they give us two pineapple slushes and we had to send them back. Then they gave us our "correct" order only to find out that they put no LEMON in our LEMONberry slushes. We call sonic to let them know of their mistake and the manager proceded to yell at us and tell us that we were wrong and that in order to prove that we were right we would have to tell him how exactly how our drinks should have been made. I have never had such rude customer service and will never support this business again. read more
