Problem is I DIDNT order a combo. Then I had to correct the order from a double burger to a regular cheeseburger. What a fucking disgrace! How is this location still open!!! I just spent $40 and got ripped off!! Missing 2 tater tots and they handed me the bag w a french fry container just dumped upside down, not tipped over completely dumped, the teenagers working inside were playing around the whole time, dude was making someone a shake with what to me looked like a hella overripe banana and when he noticed me looking at him he obviously leaned forward so i couldnt see what he was doing. My bf's chili cheese tots were supposed to be a large was in a large container but when he pulled the contaiber it was half filled. One burger was sulposed to be plain, that didnt happen... We went there with our 2 year old thinking we could just get a quick bite. I have food allergies so can't get very much but Sonic does great onion rings. We got in a stall and after waiting 5 min got in the drive thru. We waited 5 minutes there and then got in stall 20, and after pressing the red button the button turned off. My husband then proceeded to walk towards the restaurant and was told by a rude lady that she was the only one working there and we'd have to get in line again. After 20 minutes we finally called it quits and came home. We had visited a few months ago and also got the same thing with another lone, albeit nicer, employee. I think this Sonic needs to die. I went to Store #3776 at 2339 and Main st Longmont. The service was great! The shake was so good! I would like to recommend this store!

Twice in a weekend this place was closed, or appeared closed, at 8:00. My kids headed up at 8:00 Friday 3/2 (shakes after 8:00 half off is big for a teenager) and everything was shut down, no note, nothing. Next day, they tried again. This time the lights were on and people were inside but no one would answer at drive up or in bays. Other customers were having the same experience. We've had other recent troubles here, the speaker at the drive up is broken or the order is wrong. It just appears to be managed very shoddily. We have continued to go because the shakes are delicious but I think it's time to take our business (including teenage boy appetites) elsewhere. read more

The absolute worst experience all around. I went through the drive thru for the service time this month and both times the person working the window (different person each time) took it upon themself to keep my change! They took my money, shut the window, and then either turned their back to me or walked away. The first time it happened I thought it was weird but it was only a few cents. This time it was $1, so essentially I ended up paying $3 for a medium soda. I will never go back and suggest that if anyone is seriously craving Sonic they go to another town because this one will leave you disappointed every time. read more

We ordered 2 shakes and a tater tot. That's it! It took 33 minutes to get our order. The carhop explained that there were only two of them there. First of all... not my problem -that's yours. Second... if you had just said "Due to staffing issues it might be as long as a half hour to get your order.", we would have left and you would have has one less customer to prepare for -and there would have been no hard feelings. When we got our order and started to drink/eat it down the road (had to rush out of there because of the wait), the Blasts were melted and there were literally no toppings on top, and barely ANY at the bottom. The MEDIUM tots we ordered were in a small bag and there were 6 tots. Count them- SIX TOTS -and those tots were cold. Not warmish -not room temperature -COLD! Which means, this order was made 33 minutes ago and just now delivered. If you can't figure out your staffing issues, then you should be in another line of business. I can't help but notice it's hard to find a review that is not a 1 or 2 star. Maybe the ownership should consider making some drastic changes. read more

Thomas S was by far the most rude person I have had the unfortunate pleasure to deal with. Not only was he rude they screwed up the order as usual. I told him I wanted a vanilla shake and he handed me a strawberry. I told him again I ordered a vanilla and he said "I swore you said strawberry " then proceeded to literally throw the shake. I figured I would pull off to side to check order...go figure there was a burger with no bacon on it, which screwed up coworkers order. When I lived in Longtucky I would go here quite a bit. The ice cream was good on a hot summers night. Went there this past saturday and my god they have gone down hill. We pulled up and tried to order and the person on the other side must have been under the influence of some kind of drug. It took like 3 minutes to get the first part of the order and it still wasnt right. So we thought we could do a walk up order, maybe it would be one of the other 3 workers that would take our order....... Nope. got in the car and left, and went to Chick Fil A instead and spent less and had much better food. read more

Came here to get happy hour slushies, only to sit for ten minutes with no help and missed the happy hour point. Employee said he was helping another customer and though I was here before the end of happy hour my order was placed too late and could not be applied. Supposedly are open until 11. Pulled up and set at sign to order at 9:45 with lights still on and a customer in front of me at the window who pulled out within a minute or two of me being there. I set for 10minutes with no one coming to take my order. I finally spoke into the speaker and asked if someone was going to take my order. Instead of answering me back they turned the lights off on the sign. Extremely rude. At least say to someone that you are closing early or something. Had a very good visit to Sonic tonight. Green Chile Cheeseburger was well-prepared, neither undercooked nor overcooked. Fries were a little bit moist, crispy on the outside but also not overcooked and not over-salted. Service was quick and cheerful. You had a good day, Sonic. read more

Holy hell!! We have driven away from this place before but today was the last straw! We are a party of five and the girl taking our order took two orders and called it quits!! While taking the second order she wasn't even putting the things on the screen and would not answer my husband when he was asking if she was there. After finally taking the second order and putting it on the screen she didn't bother to ask if we were done or not. She just threw up the pay screen! My husband rang the order button but she would not answer. He then got out of the truck and ran in and the only excuse given was they are short staffed. This isn't the first time that they stated this as the reason for the lack of service. Who ever owns this place needs to get there store in order because that's just crazy. This is by far, without a doubt, the absolute worst fast food restaurant I've ever been to. 0 star restaurant. My wife and I waited nearly 30 minutes for 2 5$ meals. The hot dog was very average. (I could have made a better one at home and I'm no chef) the burger, however, was flat out disgusting. Cold would be an understatement. It was also rock hard, one could chip a tooth on that thing. A girl came out and told us that she just arrived for her shift to find two other employees arguing about who should work the fryers for onion rings, and not processing anyone's order. I work in service so I'm usually very hesitant to write any sort of a negative review, but please PLEASE corporate or management or somebody talk to your employees. They are very unfriendly here, as if they only take your order cause a gun is held to their head. It took five minutes just to get answered after pressing the button (where I work it's unacceptable to answer later than even thirty seconds). Then another fifteen minutes. For two shakes. Then the lady tried to charge us again even though we confirmed payment at the stall. We had to pull up the bank statement to prove payment had gone through. Someone needs to check into Sonic in Longmont, CO. On MULTIPLE occasions, we have been told at the drive-thru that there would be a "wait" for our order. Today we were told before we could even order at the drive-thru, "There's going to be at least a 10 minute wait, because we are short on staff". Sonic is one of our favorites, but sadly this location is in chaos. Desperately needs new management. We KEEP coming back hoping it's just a bad day or bad weekend, trying to give benefit of doubt. Each time in the last 4 months we have been disappointed as evidenced by *being turned away at the drive-thru due to "The grill not working". *another occasion being turned away at drive-thru due to "computer being down". *have left line in drive-thru after sitting in line for 25 minutes. *orders being completely wrong or incomplete. *worker shoved drink out of window, gave card back and asked rudely, "why are you still sitting here?" To which I replied, "you didn't give us our food we paid for". To which he replied by rolling his eyes, shutting window and then giving us our coneys in a bag, vertically to which all the chile and cheese drained to the bottom of bag.
