The food is pretty solid here, good quality for the price. The drive thru I've had bad luck with, I've tried multiple times and no one showed up. The app is very nice to order with, and it has great deals. I ordered four things today for my family and 3 of them had wrong things on them. The chicken sandwich said no lettuce and was covered. The bacon and egg sandwich said light onions and had heavy. The milkshake didn't include the cherry. I ordered 5 ketchup packets and it only came with 3. All of those things are small but, added up, it is a little annoying. They are pretty speedy with their service and I get my food soon after ordering. It's always a good vibe to sit in the stall and eat food with friends or family. I enjoy this place and just hope they can pay more attention in the future. read more

came here to order a peanut butter shake... but as you can see in the photo, that's not what I received. I told the lady I couldn't see or taste any peanut butter at all -- it just tasted like a plain vanilla shake. Her response was, "I actually put a big scoop of peanut butter in there," and she said it with an attitude. This kind of customer service is disappointing. In mid October my friend and I arrived at this establishment, famished from a Sunday hike with my dog. We ordered a couple of breakfast burritos as well as some croissant bites and began enjoying them in the car. While the quality of the burritos and bites were fine the price was slightly high given Manhattan's market for fast food breakfast options; however, the quality of the customer service we heard from the stall next to us was top notch. In the stall to our left we heard a young woman complaining about her service to the staff via her call button. The young woman asserted that she had ordered a peanut butter shake and there was absolutely no peanut butter in what she had received. Staff very politely assured her that the individual she was speaking to was the person that had made the shake and that there was definitely peanut butter in it, but if it was unsatisfactory they would be willing to make her another one. The disgruntled customer appeared to become increasingly irate and retorted by stating that she didn't want another shake and would rather they just add peanut butter to the shake she was already eating. Staff calmly responded with clarification, letting the customer know that they can't bring food back into the kitchen and modify it once it's been eaten but reaffirmed that a totally new shake would be no trouble. I found this response reassuring since I definitely wouldn't want them to cross contaminate the mixing station and risk passing on this customers "Chronic Complainitis" to other patrons. Despite the concise, clearly communicated, and complimentary response from staff, the customer next to us didn't seem to comprehend what they were offering and just continued to complain about the quality of the shake in her hand. After venting for a while, staff apologized for the inconvenience (for probably for the 5th time) and the customer drove away. Ironically enough, as a former DQ employee, by my estimation she complained long enough that if she had simply said "Yeah that'd be awesome, thank you" she would have drove away from Sonic at the same time but with 2 shakes in hand. My review would have been 3 stars, based on food quality and price, but due to exemplary customer service in the face of a customer that I fear may suffer from some sort of processing deficiency I have bumped it up to 4 stars. read more

so on my birthday i ordered a KIDS meal with fries and a burger with ONLY lettuce nothing else made that very clear, i open it and there is straight everything in there so i pull up again and no one answers for 10 mins so i pull up to front window and gets ignored for another 10, so my teenage daughter calls them to say "hey were in the drivethru" and they answer before we can say anything to hang up. horrible never come again. manager was rude too btw read more

I stopped by here on my lunch break and ordered the Sonic Griller Combo. The burger itself was pretty good, with a nice sauce on top as well as fresh vegetables. The combination of all of it wasn't amazing, but overall was about a 7.5/10. The fries were delicious and crispy, probably the best ones I've had from Sonic. I also got a vanilla root beer, but that was obviously good since all of their drinks are good. read more

The worker read back my order and everything was correct , but when I got up to the window she claimed I didn't order 3 drinks when I did. she only gave me two, and the one I was missing was the first drink she said back. Then when I tried to pay for it, when I already did, she refused to give me my drink and told me I had to go all the way back through the drive through. Not only that, I've seen this lady many times and every single time she gets my order wrong... I keep trying to give it chances since it's close by to my school and I have a limited time, but I cant keep going just to not get all my food. This is super upsetting because sonic use to be my favorite place to go. Sonic I advise you to find new fucking employees so I can enjoy sonic once again. read more

One of the worst services I've had. It was fairly slow when I showed up and the girl with the pink hair serving me at the window had such a bad attitude. She made it seem like me being there was a huge inconvenience for her. I got three different blasts and ALL of them had ice cream dripping down the sides of them and then to find out after that there were multiple holes throughout the cups that leaked ice cream everywhere! read more

So it's no question that Sonic (in general) has the best sausage burritos in the game. However, this location gave me the saltiest burrito of all time. It was absolutely disgusting and I couldn't finish it. Maybe the cap on the salt shaker was broken? Who knows. Incredibly fast, super friendly, and my food was totally correct. Fast food joints are generally known for screwing orders but but not this Sonic! The wait for my food was shorter than average and it was fresh and delicious. Their strawberry limeade is best. It's a great stop for hundreds of drink combinations. If you're going to go to a Sonic in town, this is by far the best one to go to. Their food is pretty much always fresh/hot and their customer service is second to no other Sonic I've been to. Sure, there are times where they'll forget something in your order, but they are always willing and quick to fix it. Just went through the drive through because i am approximately 84 months pregnant and i wanted a slush. As directed by the menu board, i chose a flavor add-in: diet cherry (I know, I'm pregnant, shouldnt be drinking diet, but i could be smoking crack. Give me a break). My husband kindly orders it from the driver's side. The manager on the headphone says "uh, sir, we don't have diet cherry. A slush is sugar and water." Uh, sir, then kindly remove it from your menu. And then perhaps re-evaluate your career decision if customer service isn't your bag. I get it. It's not mine either. So I did this really inventive thing where i got a job in not customer service. Note-worthy: i was through the exact same drive through approximately 5 hours earlier and diet cherry was offered to me in a Coke. So there's that. read more

Won't be going back to Sonic at 3rd and Bluemont anytime soon. Pulled in to one of the outdoor stalls and decided what I wanted, pushed order button and waited, and waited and waited...never did get an answer, even though screen said "red button activated, we will be with you shortly", or something to that effect. After 10 minutes of waiting ( the place wasn't that busy), I got frustrated and decided to go thru drive-thru line. I should have just left, and found breakfast elsewhere, but after another 10 minutes in line ( only two cars in front of me) I got my breakfast burritos. They were only medium warm and tasted like they had been sitting around awhile. This Sonic won't be getting my business for quite awhile. read more

My friend and I as well as the woman next to us waited a good 15-20 minutes for drinks. The woman next to us ordered two fountain drinks and my car had two milk shakes ordered. The service was extremely slow but cars parked closer to the main kitchen area were coming and going at a very quick pace. There were only about 8 cars there total and we were visiting more than two hours prior to close. I'm assuming they were just having an off night.
