Your staff were very sweet and polite. Waiting 18 minutes in one of your stalls to get two drinks that were paid for on mobile order is a bit much. This wasn't the staff's fault, but the owners need to do some serious work to improve on these type of things. When you place a mobile order it's either drive away without the items you paid for, or sit for over a quarter of an hour waiting. This has to be the worst sonic I have ever been to. I order a simple number one plain cheeseburger with cheese and ketchup only, a large fry and large coke. Not hard. The girl at the window then try's to give me a medium root beer. I correct her, she gives me the right drink. She then hands me what I think is my order with frys and what looks like a burger at the bottom. I drive 10 minutes home and open the wrapping to a horribly made EGG AND BACKON SANDWICH. So I drive back 10 minutes and told them what happened. I tell them what happened and tell them I already have the coke so all I need is the burger and large fry because my others are cold. They tell me that they will take care of me at the window. I pull up to the window and the girl literally just stares at me and I say "I'm just here for my burger and fry's". She kinda just looks around like she's lost and then goes do you want this receipt, I say yes. Fast forward a minute or so later she hands me a bad halfway folded and says "here you go" and closes the window immediately. I look in the bag, there is a burger but no fry's. At that point I said to myself "you know what it's not even worth saying anything, they've messed up two times. Already they obviously can't do their job correctly". I pull off, go home and have to microwave my fry's for the second time. Lesson learned, don't go to Sonic in Nixa, horrible service, bad workers, and they obviously have no idea what they are doing in there. Sad to see because when I was in high school it was great sonic to go to and everything was fine. I don't know if it's new management or just "kids" not knowing how to do a basic job or what. Ordered last night. I got to say, I was very disappointed. Ordered the #4. Was supposed to be on Texas Toast. It was on very thin toasted bread. Ordered without onions, it was loaded with onions. Ordered tater tots and I understand that things cool down a little between pickup and getting home, but these were ice cold. Used the oven to reheat them since I couldn't eat the burger with loaded up onions. The soda was mostly syrup and little to no carbonation I have come here often, but over the last few months, things have really fallen apart. I wasted my $10, but learned that I will no longer be back. Update. Went tonight and ordered a Sonic Blast. Anyone who has been there knows that this is a $7 item for a large. Got my order, and the cup wasn't near full. Soon asking about this, I was told that there was "plenty" in there. I said, for the price, it should be full. This sonic is absolutely horrible. Just drive up the road to the sonic on S Campbell in Springfield. You'll spend less time driving there and back than you will sitting waiting for them to answer the red button at this sonic. Terrible. After we placed an order- #7 and #8, they didn't give up sides. We asked for them then they charged us more because we "upgraded" lol ok didn't know the "meal" didn't come with sides. read more

Their drive thru screen doesn't work, and the carhop taking my order wasn't paying attention. She got my order wrong, and charged me more than what I was supposed to be charged. When I asked at the window, she lied to my face. So I asked for a receipt. She closed the window, typed on her register a bit, and told me my total again. Same amount. Asked if I needed a receipt again. I said yes, again. I get my order, of course it's wrong, so I let the guy know who handed it to me. He starts typing on the register and SLAMS the window shut. After I get my food, and not even a refund, but the change for the amount difference, I ask for another receipt to make sure I got what I was trying to order. I went to leave a survey on Sonic's website about my poor service, but you have to have a store number. They don't print their store # on the receipt so it's IMPOSSIBLE to leave them a review. I like sonic a lot, but recently when you order a chili cheese coney they just give you a hot with some cheese on it. when I received this I asked them if there was some kind of mistake, they said they did make a mistake and told me they would make another one for me. a couple minutes go by and they tell me that they can't give me a free one but that I can get another chili cheese coney if I pay for it, and they refused to fix my order. With 5 girls talking and/or on their phones when I walked in the front door I had to ASK them to seat me. Steak, while cooked to correct temp was cold when it got to table. Mashed potatoes: cold. Broccoli hot and rubbery. Waitress: nice however she was very quiet, but nothing bad against her. Servers have very little to do with mistakes with food. Me and my family usually enjoy our visits to sonic, but this last visit was not so great. First off we were going to have 3 different orders, so my friend decided to jump out and go order at the other buzzer. There were no other cars there so we did not think it would be a problem. When she ordered she informed them that we were in the car next door. When her food was delivered the employee was rude about her ordering on the other buzzer. She told us in a sassy tone that we can order at the window. Her food was delivered cold. When our food was delivered it was fine, but my shake was only about 3/4 full. This sonic about 3 months ago was a solid place to go to for fast food. The service was great, order always correct, and staff was pleasant. Ever since about 3 months ago this location has gone completely into the gutter. I was there 2 months ago and the gentlemen working the window was cussing about the order to me and to the staff, there was absolutely not an ounce of customer service in that man. I hadn't gone back since that because it was that awful of an experience for me. I stopped by yesterday for one drink, that's all that was in my order. The floor was completely trashed and I waited 5 min for change. The cashier and other co workers somehow couldn't come up with a little more than $2 in change. So I once again was frustrated and just told them to keep whatever change it was. I don't know what happened to cause this huge shift in service but something is going to have to give. If management can't get this place back under control then corporate needs to. read more

This is the fastest Sonic in the area. I've been to Sonic's all over Springfield and Ozark and have sometimes been left waiting almost 15 minutes for an iced tea! Not here though! read more

It's Sonic, what more can you say? Always love to grab a cherry lime-aid before heading down to Branson, makes the trip even better.

I decided to give this place one more try (third time). It's still not good. The service was a little better, but the food is still bad.
