I recently visited this particular Braum's location. We ordered food, cones and a Mix (soft ice cream with candies added). The mix was super runny. The employee that made it actually apologized when he handed it to me (stating that it was runny). I took it to the table thinking it wouldn't be that bad. Unfortunately, I was wrong...it was horrible. I returned to the counter and asked if it could be remade because it was too runny. The employee asked the employee that made the Mix and was told "no, that's how they are". This was not my first Braum's Mix, but it will be my last at this location. Honesty goes a long way. I can understand a mistake, malfunctioning equipment, and a host of other problems. Management....I truly hope you read this and take action to address your employees lack of concern for honesty, quality, and your business reputation. We went through the drive thru for a quick bite on the way to Branson. Kids had a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich. I had a hot fudge sundae. The food was pretty good. (I tried a few bites of the sandwiches.) The burger and chicken sandwich were both slightly better than Dairy Queen. Good, but not excellent. The sundae was darn good. The ice cream was excellent. Lots of fudge, nuts and whipped cream. We would eat here again as everyone in the car was satisfied. read more

This review is in reference to the workers in the kitchen area. I have been to Braum's 3 times in about 3 weeks and all three orders were wrong. First was through the drive thru and asked for a quarter pounder and got a chicken sandwich. Second was inside and asked for a regular chicken sandwich (no spicy etc) and got a spicy chicken sandwich. Yesterday I did the drive through and asked again for a chicken sandwich and when I got home it was a double cheese burger. The orders were correct when ordered per the receipts so it isn't their fault. The manager needs to have a serious talk with the employees. I won't be trusting the drive thru any longer and if I am inside I will definitely let them know. read more

Good ice cream, their market is very fairly priced. Instead of charging a dollar per banana I was able to get four for a dollar.

MANY years ago we lived in the same city as a Braum's Ice Cream store. I fondly remember the ice cream. When we were traveling through the city I knew we had to eat there during our stay in the area. We wound up actually traveling for 45 minutes one evening just to go here. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 1 plain hamburger, and a spicy chicken sandwich along with fries for everyone. The cheeseburgers came out fine, but the plain hamburger had cheese. This led to a "problem" until we realized that the cheese slice wasn't melted much and we could just pick it easily off. Crisis avoided. We of course had to go back up for ice cream. The banana split was as amazing as I remembered. I don't care for marshmallow, so had them change it out for caramel sauce. Others said that the ice cream was delicious too. I love their butter brickle ice cream, but apparently it is a seasonal item. It is also apparently a HUGE hit, so sells out VERY quickly. I wish I could have shared the joy that is Braum's butter brickle ice cream with my family on this trip. Family didnt think the burgers were great, but better than most fast food places. If not for the mess up on the cheese, this would have been a 5 star experience. read more

You really just can't beat Braum's. Either a frozen custard, or hand dipped ice cream; their products are tasty and cheap!! Literally half the price of most ice cream places in the area, and just as good. The only issue I sometimes have is they will prepare your ice cream while you are still 2 cars back. This can be a problem if the cars in front of you have a lengthy or complexed order, so by the time it's your turn it's melted. Ice cream dripping down the cone and all over you hand. Also beware of tons of napkins wrapped around the bottom of your cone; it usually means there's a hole. I always remove the bottom napkin to make sure the cone has no leak. Also if the cone is dripping I have them remake it. read more

We don't have a Braum's where we live and when we travel to southern Missouri we usually stop at the Braum's in Nixa. We decided to go through Drive thru. Ordered three chicken strip meals and a chicken sandwich. When we left we discovered they did not give us the three orders of chicken strips. We drove back and got them. They were nice about it. They have to get there drive they orders correct. Food was good. Pretty standard. So they missed on 3 of the 4 orders so I will give them 2 stars for this visit. This is an interesting concept in fast food for those traveling down the highway. First is a burger restaurant with typical burger, fries and drinks. The burgers are good quality and filling. The fries are rough cut and good as well. Next to the burgers is full scale frozen treat counter. Made of frozen yogurt, the menu ranges from simple scoops to sundaes. Many flavored to choose from. Finally there is a small grocery store attached. A quick stop for those needing milk, produce or other items. Overall this was a good stop and nice alternative to the crowds at Lamberts across the street. read more

Twice in one day. 3 different orders. 2 orders of JUST chicken strips with gravy and one dinner with gravy. I was VERY specific BOTH times asking not once, but TWICE if they heard gravy. Person stating 'yes'. What was missing from the order BOTH times? (Once around 1:30, when I took my grandparents and once around 10, when I picked up food for my son and I) GRAVY! Braum's is reliable, it's tasty, and the ice cream is sweet and refreshing. They do have one of the best deals in the fast food industry with the bag of burgers. You can swing by and get 5 burgers with ketchup and pickle that are of normal size, for a dollar a piece, and they are actually very good quality considering their pricing! I've visited this Braums several times and each time I'm amazed at the lack of customer service. Tonight was no exception. I went in to get some ice cream. Went to the counter and had to wait for someone to help me. I ask for a double dip of eggnog ice cream. I was told "we don't have any". I then ask for a large soft serve twist. I was told "we don't have any chocolate." I ask if they had vanilla - "yip we have vanilla." They employees need trim the basics of customer service. Three stars is for ice cream. It's nothing special at all, but $2 for a double dip cone is a pretty good deal. This location however is FILTHY. We came in to eat dinner on a Wednesday night- the place was empty yet every table was filthy. The floor was disgusting and the window sills were covered with dead bugs. Traditionally have had great service and food at this Braum's location, but something has recently changed and the service is awful. A few weeks ago, I got home with three kids in tow, only to find they had completely missed putting my sons hamburger in the bag. I wasn't about to load all three kids in car seats to go back up and request a refund or get the burger, so instead we had to split the chicken and no one got enough to eat. Then, last week, I went through the drive-through to grab some chicken tenders to share with my 1 year old. I ordered the meal. After a long wait in line, I paid at the first window with my debit card. Then when I got to the second window they informed me they were out of chicken and asked what I wanted instead. I requested a refund and the rest of my meal (large fries and large drink). They brought me some cash (not what I paid... so not sure how they calculated my refund), and gave me a medium fry and drink. If they had told me they were out when I ordered, I probably would have taken the ten minutes it took to get through the line and gone elsewhere. We will likely continue to eat here due to the convenience, but I hope there is better training/management in the near future so that we do not continue to have negative experiences. Good food, I love that they have a variety of sandwiches and burgers, salads and chicken. They also have a wide variety of ice-cream and sundaes. My only complaint is that some of the "kids" who work here are rude and seem entitled. But, that's an understandable action beings as there seems to be ZERO adults working and overseeing things. read more

Stopped at Braums, ordered two items, saw the manager place my salad next to the bag. Paid for my items, my bad for not checking...drove 12 miles home and discovered the bag contained the dressing, crackers and croutons, minus the salad. Apparently their phone is off the hook permanently. Before posting this note I read where other customers have had a similar experience and the phone is never answered. This is a $6.00 salad, when you include tax. Too pricey to ignore. read more

We love near Braums, so it's really convenient for our family. We usually go thru the drive thru once a week. Unfortunately. Our order is almost always wrong. If you don't want cheese, you get it anyway, or we'll get shorted a french fry. It's gotten to the point than when I go, I sit at the window and open everything up to verify that the order is correct. Super annoying, I literalky think we're nuts for still going there but we love the burgers and fries...when they're made correctly. My husband has called and talked with a manager a few times and obviously it hasn't helped. I love that they employ lots of teens, but there's no attention to detail. I travel for work and have seen my fair share of drive thrus and almost never get an incorrect order anywhere else. read more

Whatever you do, don't bother visiting this location for breakfast items in the morning. They are simply inept at preparing breakfast food. We've tried them several times for sausage & egg biscuits and the biscuits are always hard and they know they're that way. I've had my food refunded by a manager that seemed to care less. We ordered a breakfast burrito that looked like the back half had been dipped in cooking oil. The hash browns were dripping in grease as well. Overall, it's just a sad, dirty and poorly run franchise. I've not encountered this situation at other locations. read more

We usually pick up eggs and milk Sunday's after church. Last Sunday (2/19) my five year old asked if we could stay and eat there since we had never done that. He was so exited. He really wanted a cheeseburger and fries. Our 2 year old has an egg allergy, so when we got to the counter we asked the clerk if there was egg in the buns. He turned to his manager and asked the question. The manager briefly looked up and said "probably" then abruptly walked away. I told the clerk that "probably" was not an answer. He just stared at me. Rather than take the chance, we left. The five year old had a meltdown. That manager should be reprimanded for his lack of concern for a child with a severe allergy. read more
