Lobby closed and order was completely wrong! I asked specifically no pickles and I got extra! Avoid this place!!

5-6 people working there.. 5:00pm .. not busy at all and the place is filthy inside .. trash piled up.. dirty tables, bathrooms with piss all over the floor and trash .. food came out like someone tried to throw it through the wall.. :( read more

The last time I had even a half decent experience at this location has been over three years. Over 7 times at least, I've tried to add tomato (0.49¢) to a sandwich every-time and it is almost never added. I've ordered of my sonic app for this location 10minute ahead of me showing up at the restaurant and then multiple times at to wait over 35 minutes for my order. The worker/ carhops/ employees are never ever decent l, very short spoken and obviously hates what they're doing. Twice now I have gotten my meal missing items, sandwich, sauce or side! This location needs to be completely renew all staff and/ or retrain everyone! I've now avoided sonic for two months until yesterday and again my order was wrong yet again. Overall, very good. It was a bit confusing with the order and it got messed up, but Ashley was very very nice, and she corrected it right away. The dog park is very neat, clean, and a great little space for your pup to run around while you get good food! Update March 2024: Love this dog park by Sonic. It's big enough for the pups to run around, it is supplied with poop bags, and lots of parking nearby. Service at Sonic was fast and efficient- order was correct and no complaints. Always stop here when we are traveling I-70 in Kansas. read more

Just wanted some tots and Sonic was across from hotel. I went through drive through ordered a large tot and asked for extra ketchup, drove to hotel and got in the room and tots were cold and hard and I guess 3 packets of ketchup qualifies as extra. read more

Do not stop here. Gross gross gross! We waited about 5 minutes for our food at the window thinking that might be a sign they were making our order fresh. Hell no. Tots hard as a rock and cold. Cheeseburger tastes like the patty was cooked several days ago and warmed. Breaker steak sandwich the same cold hard and I'll tasting. Not to mention flies flies flies. Seriously about 15-20 were landing on our car why we waited! I give places the reviews they deserve and unless you are on the verge of starving and contemplating eating bugs don't waste your money! read more

This is the best Sonic I have ever visited and I had to pass through Kansas to enjoy it. It was all luck, as we had passed many advertised off of the freeway. We just happen to exit off of the freeway to the best one. The first Sonic to have a dog park and children's playground attached! My dogs really enjoyed the dog park as they needed to have some potty and run time after a long drive. This Sonic location is beautiful with Art and many flat screen TV's mounted on the walls. The Staff was super friendly and the food was extra fresh and tasty! The Sonic taste better in Kansas than it does in Las Vegas. This Sonic location is the BEST in so many ways and I have been to quite a few! read more

I am very thankful we found this Sonic along our drive! We were relocating across country and needed to stop for lunch - this stop was best case scenario for us. We could all get lunch, our preschool age son could play on the small playground, and our dog could go potty and run around for a little bit at the dog park. We had been on the road a little over 3 hours by this point so we were ready for a break. Food was comparable to any other Sonic, but the added amenities make it a "must stop" along I-70! read more

In line about 8:50 pm to buy food. We were very hungry. The driver of the car two cars up took a while to place his order. Okay, in terms of Sonics, this is hands down best stop I've ever made! Yeah, sure-- Sonic is known for its fast food and cold drinks, and yeah, you might like the burgers and chicken strips here as much as any other fast food chain... Yes, the purported thousands of drink flavor combinations when you need non-alcoholic liquid refreshment are satisfying and may trigger a little happy dance and yummy sound upon the first slurp of caffeinated corn syrup. Bonus points for half price drink happy hour from 2-4pm! The service was quick and friendly, but that's generally pretty standard for my lifetime of Sonic experiences as well... But you may be asking "Cara, why did you give a Sonic five stars?!?" The answer is simple: clean indoor restrooms and a dog run for the fuzzy, waggy tailed beast I call Kermit the Dog! While businesses are slowly catching on to the needs of travelers with pets, it's still relatively tricky to find a spot that checks all the marks with immediate access to the interstate (and there's as gas station next door if you need fuel too). And while I don't have human kids, it's nice to see they have a separate, clean fenced-in playground so the littles can run off their pent up energy and boredom too! So yeah, it's "just" a Sonic, but it's an awesome Sonic where I will most definitely spend my money any time I'm passing through Western Kansas! read more

Not a single employee wearing a mask, both in drive through and delivering to cars. Seeing that there were tons of holiday travelers coming through off highway, we were shocked at the lack of concern. Sonic has been a dependably safe road stop during pandemic, but now well rethink coming to another again. read more

Loved coming across this sonic in our travels with our 2 dogs and kid. There's a nice big fenced in dog area and a nice fenced in playground that's separate. The service was friendly and quick and food good. I would have given 5 stars but i don't like that the gates face away from the cars so you have to walk around to get in and out. Also there was nowhere to sit with the dogs so we decided to lay a blanket on the concrete where there was shade next to the dog park. read more

This location is the best sonic has to offer I'm sure. I'm a brand new sonic fan. But this place is fantastic in comparison to any other sonic I've been too within 600 miles. They open a little late, around 8 o'clock. But not too many people are up and on the road at 6 am. This was a really cool place. Honestly, I did not expect much from anything in Kansas but this Sonic blew me away. The dog park is awesome. I do not have a dog but can see how someone on a long road trip would like this for their dog to get some exercise. The playground is also a cool addition. I think this is the perfect roadtrip stop for families. The carhops also were quick and friendly. One downside: They were out of tots. This was very disappointing but I'll forgive them. Good job. Terrible service. Ordered hot dog meal. Got to window and waited 15 minutes after paying. Cars stacked up behind. Some cars behind got served while I waited and waited. Some pulled out and left. Window server never returned. Frustrated and hungry, unable to get attention of server-I drove off. Not returning ever. Goodbye to great onion rings and foot-long cheese coney. Its sonic. It's good. Thought, if you are from out of town avoid only because the smell of the surrounding area is putrid.

Burger was cold and undercooked. Stopped at 6pm at night when the grill should be the hottest.

It's a Sonic...same quality food you'd expect at any other Sonic. Clean bathrooms, and friendly staff. Indoor seating is a plus!

What can I say... WOW! We are world travelers and this is by far the best fast food experience east, west, north, or south of the Mississippi! When we arrived, the place was PACKED! All of the drive in spots were full and there was a modest line for the drive through. I thought to myself, there's no way! I'll be here for days! Even though it looked dire, the other glowing reviews inspired us to take a chance. We placed a large order and barely had to wait. It was INCREDIBLY FAST. But even more inspiring to us weary travelers was how the food was pipin' hot! Fresh! Delicious! Crispy! You must try the one foot coney. We got a medium blast and it was huge!
