Ordered a chocolate fudge Sunday with chocolate ice cream and instead of telling me they didn't have chocolate ice cream they brought me vanilla ice cream with fudge on top. Disappointed, one word that can not describe my fury in my latest encounter with your team of Karens! I came to your establishment on the night of 10th, tonight, and I was treated with the uttermost disrespect. I am a volunteer fire fighter and I work set hours and can not always come in right at 9. Karen wanted to make sure that I knew that she had to go out of her way to make my order. On the arrival of my food I wasn't able to pay on the board, because their equipment is outdated. I used to stop at this Sonic every morning to get my coffee, then it got to where you would never know if they were going to be open, so I started going to another sonic. I found out that this sonic now is under new ownership, I started going back by there, they are always open on time and they have brought back Kelly, she is there every morning, she is awesome, always friendly, she knows what I want when I pull up. If you have stopped going here because of the service or not knowing if they are open, you need to give it another try. read more

Be careful when paying with cash.. you might not get your change if they "misunderstand" what you said when handing over your cash. Even if you don't "say" anything. Maybe I should have specifically said that I would like my change back. I don't know, call me crazy, but I thought that was a given. Carhops don't automatically get to keep the change from an order, a tip is not mandatory. It's the customers choice. You always give change back or wait for the customer to specifically say you can keep the change. Otherwise you come across as having bad character. And then customers that intended on giving you a tip may not give one at all. Like me. read more

Ordered on the app it took them fifteen minutes to bring our food out. FYI if you order a small onion ring you only get four of them , so I did the math it comes out .54 cents for each one. Not sure if that is really worth it due to fact I had better one from the store bought froze ones and paid 1.99 for the whole bag. This sonic has gone horribly down hill. We ordered two mini blasts which shouldn't take long to make. We waited well over 20 minutes. When we got the blasts one was supposed to be strawberry m&m. It was vanilla. I just don't understand how you can screw up a two blast order and it take so long. April 6, 2019, we stopped here for chocolate shakes and a lime aid at 2:45, still have receipt. When we got our order, we drove off. Once on the street my husband tasted a shake and it was full of hot sauce. I could smell it, when he took the lid was off. We went back. Not sure what the manager looks like but a woman came from the back with a stud in her nose and said she was the manager. She claimed they did not have hot sauce and with communications between her and the employees there was a bottle of Chinese hot sauce directly under the syrup dispenses. The Chinese hot sauce was in the chocolate syrup container. Now she takes the time to figure up, to the penny how much the shake was and gave us back the money. Never apologized just here is your 3 bucks. I called corporate and the health department. This cannot be tolerated at our restaurants. I wanted someone to talk the kids there and tell them how dangerous this was. If you are allergic to peppers you would never worry about it being in a chocolate shake, just like if you are allergic to peanuts you would not expect them on a burger. We are not allergic, however, my father-in-law has COPD. The coughing would have sent him to the hospital -- not an exaggeration. We will never eat at a sonic again and now when we eat out I just over examine my food. read more

We just wanted to get a drink and when we pushed the button we waited until an abrupt sounding voice asked us to wait. We then waited what seemed like a hour but was really about 20 minutes with her never coming back to take our order. So I just stopped in at this location. It's 11:20pm. They do not close until midnight so it wasn't like we were a rude customer ordering 10 minutes till midnight. Ive work in the restaurant industry for many of years and still do and I have to say this was one of the worst service I've ever had in my entire life. We tried to order in the drive through but the intercom wasn't working well so the lady at the window was irritated with us from the beginning cause we couldn't hear her. So we pulled up to the window she was very rude to us when taking our order. After giving us our order I asked for some ranch and ketchup for the popcorn chicken tots and corn dog my mother and I just order and she shut the window on us while in the middle of asking for the sauces and just throws them in my moms hand and shuts the window. Last night I had the worst experience ever at a fast-food I guess you can call it restaurant. Ordered a small cheeseburger and a Route 44 drink went through the drive-thru pulled up handed the car hop my $50 bill only Bill I had in my wallet other than credit cards I need to change for my daughter's school the next day so I was going to break the 50. The CarHop took probably a good 5 minutes two hand me back my change at which point I noticed you did not hear me or seat and she handed me $13 try to get her attention and was ignored. The manager on duty was one I finally was able to get to acknowledge that I was even still outside at which point I told her that I was short-changed she asked what I gave the car hop told her $50 It's Only Money I had in my wallet she wouldn't ask CarHop CarHop said I gave her a 20 came back and told me that and I asked her what what I could do she's said that she got a 20 and that was the end of it according to her. I didn't ask for the owner and another managers phone number and was basically ignored I pulled around went inside and ask again for a phone number and it asked the CarHop why she wanted to rob me we're at which point the manager just told the CarHop to go in the back and sit down and continue to ignore me. Now if I were to reach into the cash drawer and take out $50 I would be arrested but this subhuman is able to steal money right in front of everything and nothing is done about it it's ridiculous. This is the first review I've ever made in my life this is the first time I've been robbed about waitress or my warning Rockwall do not go to the Sonic on 276 it's trash along with its workers. I feel sick that I even have to give it one star so I can make this review do not go to the Sonic on 276 unless you want to experience the hood. Been to several Sonics in Rockwall and this is the best one by far! Service is fast, friendly, and orders are 95% correct(I think due to the ordering speakers). They always ask you what sides, etc. you would like and mention daily specials when offered. Highly recommend and so convenient to where we live! Good job!! read more
