There is outdoor seating under the "Fate Brought Us Here" mural, and 22 chairs inside Geeks' mini beer hall. You can bring your own camping chair, or folding chairs for the outdoor music, seating area is first-come, first-seated (cannot bring outside brews to this event). Beer Geeks is truly a gem. This place is magical. Don't let appearances fool you... it may look small from the outside but there is big inventory and even bigger passion once you step through the door. I've been drinking craft beer on and off for a while now, but lately I've been on a kick to branch out and try more varieties, learning about styles and flavor profiles along the way. I've heard about Beer Geeks on some local FB groups and thought it would be a good time for me to check it out. Friendly greetings the moment you walk in the door make you feel more like you're visiting an old friend than shopping at a store. Jake primarily assisted me, offering a wealth of knowledge about beer in general as well as their current stock. I was blown away by the variety of choices. I told him I've been on a stout kick lately and we picked out a handful for me to try (as of this writing I've tried two and they were REALLY great). Don't be afraid to ask questions about anything, they really want to help and won't make you feel silly for being less experienced. A quick point on their pricing. Everything is sold by the unit, so you pay per can or per bottle, and you can buy as many or as few as you like of anything they have in stock. I love this model, because you can try different things without being overly committed to one beer. For a specialty store, buying per unit instead of a 6 pack or case I expected to pay more. But I was pleasantly surprised that the pricing is very competitive. Don't pass this place up for a grocery store or gas station with a craft beer section. If you want great pricing and the best service Beer Geeks should be your go to shop. I'm looking very forward to my next visit and every visit after that! read more

This is my first time here, and I must admit that it was a pleasant surprise. It's a bit tough to find your first time around because it is sandwiched between other shops. The best suggestion is to just park as though you are going to the Fatted Calf and then just walk in between the restaurants to enjoy a grab-you-one-beer-fest. I came on a Saturday evening which includes live music. We grabbed some beers (decent selection) and enjoyed some decent music. It isn't the most diverse crowd, but it's relatively a small town so you take what you can get. All-in-all, it's a pretty good experience. read more

If you are looking for solid and or unique brews near Rockwall/Heath here you go. Small shop but really good selection of multiple styles. I love that you can buy it by the can or bottle and try or make mixed packs. Staff was super nice and they have a rewards program. Will be back... read more
