We have 4 Sonics in Roswell NM and the one at 808 N Main is absolutely the best! We just had a pic up order and it was fresh and hot. My dad and I pass through Roswell (home of the infamous UFO incident) on our annual trip to New Mexico and Colorado. Car rides invariably make me drowsy, so I'm usually napping or at least in a state of hypnagogia, the transitional state from wakefulness to sleep. The "dream" begins shortly after we enter Roswell. It's always the same. An anthropomorphic alien figure (thin body, large oval head and oval eyes) stands in the desolate parking lot of a Sonic Drive-In. It beckons me forth with its right hand. This "dream" doesn't seem to belong to my subconscious. It's more like a looped recording. Then the audio track plays: "This is not a dream. Not a dream. We are using your brain's electrical system as a receiver. We are unable to transmit through conscious neural interference. When you awaken, you will consume ice cream of extraterrestrial origin, synthetic ingredients designed to devour from within...our subversive mission to poison and eliminate humanity...You are receiving this transmission from the year 2-1-1-9..." I wake up jolted. I then develop a sudden and inexplicable craving for sorbitan monostearate, polysorbate 80, carrageenan, and tetrasodium pryrophosphate, all components of a Sonic Blast shake. A skeptic would dismiss my "dream" as a hypnagogic hallucination, my craving for junk food as an American norm, but I know the truth. A technologically advanced alien race from the future (descendants from the aliens that crash landed in Roswell) calculated a spot that Earth occupied in the past, given the planet's trajectory and speed. The aliens then beamed a tachyon signal at that precise spot (roughly a one-mile radius of this particular Sonic Drive-In), transmitting video information (mental suggestions) backward through time for unwitting humans to receive as electrical impulses, neural stimuli. I had ordered from the 808 North Main. In Roswell New Mexico and I got a Sprite zero that was just carbonated water. two weeks ago had the exact same problem. I contacted the manager they told me they were out Second note I pulled up to a car hop stall the first one the screen was not working. I had to back out go to the next one it to was broken, back out and continue until my fifth one finally got one. They had no signs nothing telling you they're broken waste of gas as well as wear and tear on the vehicle I just am not happy with the way this Sonic is doing read more

For the love of god, PLEASE CLEAN! I know the city of Roswell is used to being filthy but please for the health of your customers, please clean your restaurant. When I picked up my order, I saw a disgusting about of smudges all over the drive thru window. It was like dog rubbed it's nose all over the window and left snot trails. I ordered a small blast on the mobile app. (NOT my first time using the mobile app). After I was safely parked in the parking stall I waited 8-10 mins before a wait staff asked me what I waiting for. I told her I had already ordered via the app. She asked my name, I gave her my last name, she went back inside to check on it. She came back out and said there's no order and what did I order. I showed her my pending charge on my credit card app. She goes back inside to recheck. She comes back out, asked what my first name is. Then she says it's under my first name, but still no "blast". She says, "sorry, we're out of that flavour." I give her my new choice and she goes back inside the restaurant. I wait another 5-8 minutes, still no small blast. I walk inside the restaurant to find her talking to another employee, (appears to be socialising), she tells me there's several customers ahead of me. I say, it's been almost 20 mins since I notified y'all I was here for my order. I then turned around and went back to my car to wait. Surprisingly within 3-4 mins she walked out with my single item blast order. Very, very frustrating. read more

Really not sure how this place is still open... the service is horrible, and the food isn't good enough to offset that. It's a sub standard fast food choice, with their only 1 star redeeming quality being the choice of drinks that are available when they feel like making them. Not even 1 star ! We waited in the drive thru at the order station for literally 15 minutes before we finally called the number to see if they were going to take our order! The answered saying our big "truck" didn't ding them and they would come take our order! Nobody ever came .... We drove up to window and some dude lazily opened the window and said " ya it never dinged" and still didn't offer to take our order ! 4 cars drove away behind us and he obviously didn't give a crap ! We left and he slammed the window ! We had 6 people in our car ! At least 100.00 in food plus tip all gone down the drain! This was the worst fast food place of all time !! Check your order before leaving. 99% it will be wrong. I do not believe they train new employees how to take and check orders. I have yet to see any manager supervising to see if orders are correct. Out of 4 Sonic's in town this is the worst read more

They have on the menu: frozen limeade and real fruit slush. The guy that was taking my order said it was the same thing. I know for a fact it is not, I always have gotten a real fruit lime slush. I guess he wanted the easy way out otherwise why would they have both items on the menu!! Worst place ever!! read more

Very strange that the Sonics in town vary this much but this is the kind they would rather close the restroom then clean it.

Absolutely horrible. The guy taking the orders was yelling so loud over the speaker, we couldn't understand him. He missed half of the order, so that had to be repeated, then he gets the total wrong and that had to be repeated. He is yelling the whole time. We get the order, go home, didn't get the whole order and their so called boneless ribs were fried chicken pieces drowned in barbeque sauce. Did not go back, too cold. They weren't busy. Maybe 6 other cars and that's a huge maybe. My fault I didn't check the order before we left, but I shouldn't have to. Will not go back and will talk to an adult on Monday. I've not had great experiences with this location, order was wrong even after they repeat it to you AND it shows on the screen. Went back another time and they had a big mix up with debit cards and the meal I got was actually paid for twice with 2 separate cards AFTER they told me the first card declined and gave me someone else's card in return for mine...get your ducks in a row Sonic, you have one job. .... read more
