" In fact... IT DID!!! When i brought this issue up to the manager on duty she didn't even seem phased. And when i asked for a refund she managed to bring me out a dollar less then what my drink cost.. They are literally poisoning customers and stealing from us. Allthobeit this could all be from complete ineptitude, that is still far from an exception. We ordered 3 hamburgers, 1 coney dog, and 2 drinks. All 3 hamburgers were absolutely terrible, burnt and dried up. We complained, brought them back in, and the supervisor said he have new fresh ones made for us. The new ones were the same, cooked til almost burnt, dried out. After trying to eat 2 of them, we ended up just throwing them away they were so bad. We used to love Sonic Burgers, I'm not sure what has happened, but now they are terrible. Besided being burnt, even the bun seemed different and was way too thick and very dry as well. I have attached pictures of the burger if you'd like to see. They definitely do not even look appetizing. My order was placed at 7:02 pm and cost $29.25 and I'd like a refund for the burgers. We decided to go to Sonic for lunch today. We ordered two original pretzel dogs and a cheesy bacon pretzel dog. I sent back my cheesy pretzel dog because the hot dog was barely warm and the cheese sauce on it was cold. Also, I said no onions and there were onions on it. The replacement hot dog was nice and hot but the pretzel bun was cold and a little hard. I didn't find out until the end that the other hot dogs were barely warm and the skin on one of them was discolored. So I should of sent all the hot dogs back. I know this is suppose to be fast food but how do you serve barely warm hot dogs? Do they sit around until somebody orders one? Food should be served fresh and hot. The tater tots were delicious because I asked for fresh tots. Drink was good too. We haven't been here in awhile and now I remember why. It was very disappointing. read more

Just don't even waste your time. Please. This place is a joke. We were the only ones at the entire place, and roll up to the drive through window to a kid working in basketball shorts. He doesn't say anything, just opens the window and stares at me so I asked for the total. He gives me change from money that's just sitting on the counter. Gives me my change and says nothing. Comes back a couple minutes later with my food and says it'll be a couple more minutes for my coffee. Comes back with that, and I asked for the cream and sugar I originally asked for. He says the sugars in the bag and he doesn't know if they have cream...so I asked him if he could check. Looks around, and comes back and says they don't have cream but the have half and half..... I kindly let him know half and half is cream, and he hands me two, but tosses it back and forth between him and his friend working before handing it to me at the window. They are covered in probably four different kinds of food and are DISGUSTING. Not to mention, five months expired. Lastly, the burrito was a joke. It wasn't even wrapped, jut literally thrown together. No tater tots inside when there was supposed to be. It was probably a third of the size it should've been. Absolutely horrible. Stopped off here on the way to our hotel, craving their Reece's milkshake. Shake was fine, tasted great. But my corn dog was heated up in the microwave, which explains why it only took them about a minute to bring out the food. The lady who took our order was very unhelpful and rude. It was so pathetic, it's laughable. We never eat at sonic, it was our second time ever eating at one. I order a corn dog and a shake, my husband ordered one of their burgers. When asking if that was a meal since it seemed a bit too cheap, the female responded with, "i don't know you tell me." When my husband asked for it to be one, the lady just gave us our total and that was that. They brought out the food about a minute later and the dude who brought our food out, his name was Zachary. He then handed one bag over and one drink. My husband then asked him about his meal and wondered where his fries and drink was, and Zachary just replied with, "well you already paid." And that was it, and walked off. You can tell it's run by nothing but juvenile kids who have no idea what they're doing. This particular establishment sucks. Then i decided the next thing to try was the single onion ring that came in the chicken strip dinner (i don't know why they give you an onion ring, your guess is as goo as mine.) I take a bite of the onion ring and thought it tasted quite sweet. I THOUGHT it was because i had just drank the shake so i took another bite, and another, and the sweet taste never left my taste buds!! it was like they took an onion, put it in some nasty sweet cake batter mix, fried it and gave it to me trying to pass it off as a regular old onion ring. After that major disappointment, i tried the main part of the "dinner" the chicken strip. I dipped the chicken in ranch and took a bite, only to take 3 more bites just to "separate" my bite from the rest of the strip. The chicken wasn't all that crispy, was chewy and honestly probably not real chicken. I tried the toast that came with the meal, hoping to "cleanse" my palate. I grabbed a piece of toast only to find that it was PLAIN TOAST!!! NO BUTTER OR FLAVOR OF ANY KIND WAS ON THAT GROSS COLD PIECE OF BREAD. You know how dairy queen puts butter on their toast? or how canes puts butter on their toast? they were doing that because they're normal establishments who don't want people to hate their food!!! finally i tried the fries... I believed that the fries and the shake were the only good things about that meal. BUT. I. WAS. WRONG. AGAIN. After eating the fries, since that was really the only edible thing in that basket... they increasingly got saltier and saltier... to a point where i didn't want to eat them. Now i love potatoes, and french fries and i add salt to everything and i also eat wendy's fries which (I thought were salty until today) so it takes a lot to make me not want the fries. Overall the experience was a learning experience, for i will never go to a sonic ever again! the best part of the whole meal wasn't even my strawberry milkshake that kept having little chuncks of "strawberry" bits WHICH I HATE but it was in fact the whip cream on top of the milkshake that tasted the best, and stayed consistent throughout my meal. The food tasted like any other sonic, so it tasted fine. However, I ordered a certain pretzel dog when parked and ordering and the guy taking the orders argued with us that we did not order that. He insisted that he was right and we were wrong. HORRIBLE customer service, since I'm pretty sure the customer is always right. He tried to charge us for another one and wouldn't replace the one we had that wasn't the correct pretzel dog. I won't be frequenting this location again. It never seems to come out hot or properly cooked - we get a lot of overdone or (mostly) underdone and soggy food. I took my kids there for a cream slush treat last week. Within 1 hour they were complaining of stomach pains and within 3-4 hours I was holding both their heads back as they proceeded to vomit their guts out. This went on all night. I know food-borne illnesses are a possibility while eating out, but you would think ice-cream was remotely safe. Hopefully this was a isolated event but I am writing this in case it is not. Went to get a slushy that was advertised on tv with all the different flavors. When we asked what flavors they had at the drive thru they responded strawberry. When we got to the window I asked about all the flavors on the poster on the wall he said they had lots of flavors and asked if we wanted to change and went back inside. We love Sonic. The drinks are great, I love getting a sprite with cherry - their shakes and ice creams are fabulous. My favorite is the snickers sonic blast! Or a chocolate/banana shake. But by far the best thing about sonic is their foot long coney's - the hot dog has this smokey flavor that is just fabulous. And the prices are super too. The kids love the idea of a "dashboard diner"/carhop service. And we've always had quick and friendly service here. My only complaint is the music can sometimes be really too loud. read more

My boyfriend & I were super excited to go through the drive thru earlier today (around 630pm). He wanted a #2 & I wanted a #6 (Chicago dog). Once I pulled away I realized I wasn't asked which hotdog I wanted. Finally after waiting behind 2 cars for close to 20 minutes we pull up to the window. I politely asked the girl which hotdog Id be receiving since she didn't ask. She said the typical one that comes with is a chili dog and they typically ask but said "I wasn't the one who took your order!" & pushed the food out the window. Never a "Im sorry" or "let me get you what you wanted to pay for". I highly do not recommend this location. I asked for tartar sauce they said they would bring with food when they brought food out they forgot and the kid told me they don't have tartar sauce. Hello, Sonic is our families go to place for a weekend treat. Unfortunately the last few times we have gone there we have had horrible service and now their slushy machine it broken for the second time in a month. I understand things break but this last visit I waiting 30min to place an order to find out the machine was broken and given the response of "too bad" when asked why. This is disrespectful and rude. Also why is the machine broken down so much? A company of your size should be able to afford proper equipment right? Went there today for a foot long chilli dog! The first one came out really cold so I sent it back asking for a new one that's hot! 5 minutes later they came out with a new one that was colder then the first one!! I walked over and knocked on the door and asked them if they were kidding? I asked them to stick their finger in it to test how cold it is! It was as cold as if they just took it out of the refrigerator...I'm not exaggerating when I say that!! How can a place of business serve food like that! I'm thinking of calling the restaurant inspector to check them out! I could have gotten really sick from eating it! I demanded a full refund!! This may be the worst meal I've eaten in years. My wife thought it would be fun to go to a drive in. After arriving, at 6:00pm, I jokingly commented that the one car in the lot wasn't a good sign. I didn't know how accurate I was. First the ordering experience. After going back and forth attempting to help the employee understand what we wanted ended with one of our four items being listed on the menu board. Eventually we got all four listed but I made the mistake of asking if she could explain the difference between the Classic Shake and the Master Shake, long pause, "I don't know." Ok, give us the Classic Shake. After getting the order we were off (checking the bag first). Upon arriving home I discovered my chicken tenders consisted of 3 and a 1/3 small pieces that tasted like soap. My wife joked that at least they're washing after using the restroom. The onion rings also had some kind of aftertaste that I couldn't exactly discern. On the positive side my wife liked her burger. My meal was discarded after one tender and two onion rings. I came in to eat the chicken strip meal deal they had at $3.99. I pulled into the drive-in and attempted to order it, and was asked if I could wait a moment. This was at 2pm in the afternoon. When the young lady came back on I clearly placed my order for the 3.99 chicken strip promo meal with a small coke. She repeated it back as a three piece chicken strip meal with a coke at a total of $8.26. I was a bit upset with this and repeated it back that I wanted the $3.99 chicken strip meal that Sonic has been advertising on TV and internet big time. And if they did not want to honor that price I was leaving. I was getting ready to back out when another voice (the manager I guess) came on and stated that the price was adjusted???? and my order would be out in 4 minutes. OK, well I wanted to try these crispy (frispy) chicken strips so I waited. About 5 minutes later I finally got my food but I have to say the only crispy part were the tots. The chicken strips were very limp--not crispy at all. And the toast--also limp. Oh, and the onion ring stated in the promo--was not there. Quite disappointed with this Sonic--they have no idea whats on their menu, what promos they are running, just bad. This location needs better management. read more

I love Sonic from when we went there while traveling in Iowa but I have YET to have a positive experience at the ones in the Twin Cities yet. Tonights episode was the worst: ordered two Crispy Asiago Caesar Club sandwiches, a large order of tots and drinks. Waited. And waited. Finally after -25- minutes I called and politely inquired when we would get our meal. After taking 3-4 mins to find our order, we were informed that they were out of ingredients for the sandwiches we ordered!
