I don't eat very many fast food meals but when I'm looking for a special treat I always choose Sonic. Their diet cherry limeade is my favorite and you can get it for a great price during their happy hour. Right now they're serving their seasonal peppermint shake and it's delicious. Tastes like real peppermint, not that artificial unnatural tasting flavor. Love their hotdogs and breakfast burritos. Service at this location is always great for me.

A Five Star Sonic Brownie Hot Fudge Sunday this evening. Thank you to employee Jase, who made this very delicious Sweet Treat for me. Feeling the joy & Love of eating a hot fudge Sunday in my car. So fun, this will never get old. Who doesn't love a fantastic ice cream Sunday with whipped crème and a cherry, while sitting in the car listening to music! A great experience at Sonic! First, let me say, we LOVE Sonic! It's out guilty pleasure fast food. Sonic smashburger & pickle fries? TAKE MY MONEY. It has always been a decent experience here - save for chronically forgotten sauces & napkins - but today REALLY missed the mark. 4/16/25 @ 6:47pm, I ordered online and prepaid. Arrived at 7:04pm, just a few minutes after the app indicated my food would be ready. Parked and pressed the infamous RED BUTTON on the board, told the young man that answered I'd ordered online. He asked my name and said my food wasn't ready yet. I sat for 10 minutes and waited. No one came out w my food. Sat another 10 minutes and noticed a steady stream of people walking INTO the employee area w receipts & bags, so something was going on. I finally walked up to the server area and asked what was the wait, and was told I "hadn't checked in yet". I said I had spoken to someone 20 minutes ago and looked towards a young man, and that tells me he FORGOT about me, while my food sat getting cold. They offered to refund me, I should have allowed it but my family had not been waiting over 30 minutes for food and I just wanted to get home. So, I got stuck with cold, soggy food. Boooo Sonic, no one thought what is this bag doing here? I hope management helps refine their employee procedures of who answers and carhops hot food to waiting customers.

Sonic has always been a quick and easy experience for us when we stop by. Lately i have been obsessed with their sugar cookie doctor pepper. Yes im pregnant.. but hey i think it's a winner all the time. We usually get the smash burgers which are always a win. Seems like a nicer fast food option than McDonald's or Burger King, but still definitely fast food. The mozzarella sticks are so good but they almost always forget the marinara sauce so make sure you check before you drive away!!

Tried to order a chili cheese wrap and this dude didnt even know that it existed. I would've understood if he just said they ran out of stuff for it, but NO. He didn't even know what it was when I explained what section of the menu it was under. My humble brother in christ, you work here. But they gave me a free item for the bother so thats nice.

I have frequently visited this Sonic with my family for years now. I thought I wrote a review here before. I still come back because their food is consistent and who doesn't love their milkshake menu?! They also serve later than other burger joints in the Sparks area. I have only had a few mishaps with delivery to my house, so I only come here in person. Food is served hot. There's a bit more of a wait, but I would rather wait then receive cold food. Service can be a bit slower if you're parked and order at one of their intercoms. They don't always work. I suggest avoiding this place when they have their happy hour. It can be a zoo, but if you're into that more power to you! I came by tonight to grab burgers for my kiddos. I really didn't want to wait in an In and Out line. It wasn't too bad of a wait tonight for three cheeseburgers and two milkshakes. Their Sonic smashers are delicious. I stole a bite from my son. I was bummed because they are out of mini cups, so I canceled my mini shake. I didn't want a small shake or I'd drink it all. Kudos to the staff for getting us through the line. The cars piled up behind me as I was placing my order. Suggesting bringing different forms of payment if you heavily rely on mobile payment. I noticed a sign that there wasn't any Apple pay. I was very pleased with the quality tonight, but that wasn't always the case here. I might have to come back for a smasher for myself soon. I can't attest to the inside of their restaurant since I've only been in the Reno location when I got my driver's license years ago with my friends. I'm a firm believer in ice makes a drink better and Sonic ice is my favorite!

Every time I want Sonic... This one is an issue. Either they shut off their ordering on the app, the stalls aren't working or they'll say its open on the app and Google, you get there and EVERY SINGLE light is shut off except the inside with employees working, probably cleaning to go home earlier. Today, I went to get two drinks. Of course, their machines aren't working so they are directing every car to the drive thru, whether they are doordash or mobile order. Or, if you want to wait in the heat then you can go wait by there door. The person who opened the door today was EXTREMELY rude as it seemed like it was an inconvenience to get the two drinks ordered. When we left there were about 15 cars in the drive thru. It wrapped around the restaurant to the window and then leaving was a disaster cause cars were blocking the only way out around the building. My drinks were good, but the service.... Do better Sonic employees. You guys ask for tips through the app prior to the arrival?? You had plenty of employees, from what was seen, to run out and take orders at the stall.

Cashier was very friendly over the speaker, very polite and listened perfectly to my order! Sonic's is a drive through restaurant so there's barely any atmosphere or ambiance. Though I will say that they chose a good location to be in at the corner of a busy street. I ordered the Sonic Double Cheeseburger, an Oreo Cheesecake Shake, and some Tenders. The burger was okay, that's about it. It wasn't anything very special. They didn't even put very much lettuce or ketchup on it. The tenders were a joke. They were so small for the price and they weren't even all that crispy! The fries were under salted but otherwise they were decent I suppose. The shake was the best part of the meal, but mostly by default. It was pretty good and big for the price, but that's it. Overall a pretty lacking experience. If it wasn't for the low price and the kindness of the employee than this definitely would have been a 1 star. Go only for the shakes and maybe the other drinks.

Omg guys I had a horrible day and thought I would go to sonic and get a sonic peanut butter blast to feel better. The guy asked what size I thought about my day and said large. I have never had a large but thought what the heck let's do it. I get to the window and he asks how I am and I say OK and he of course says "just ok?". I reply bad day. Then I say that is why I am getting ice cream. He said good call ice cream makes everything better and I smiled. The service was quick and friendly and the ice cream was very good and omg humongous. So much ice cream. Maybe can't finish it. Lol
