I'll start with what I ordered. A double tropical smasher combo with groovy fries and the tropical slush and then a triple tropical smasher with a passion fruit refresher. What I received instead two regular double smash burgers all missing the lettuce, bacon, and glaze and one was missing the third party. The groovy fries had no sauce, the tropical slush tasted like medicinal butts, and the refresher had no syrupy sprite. I am appalled by the service I received by this company. Brian was rude, insulting, and refused to help us after learning that we sprayed the ants instead of allowing them to infest our kitchen while we waited a weekend for him to show up after he didn't show up for our first appointment. I understand that life happens which is why I was willing to reschedule rather than find another company. But when he FINALLY showed up (30 minutes late I might add) he told me he WOULDN'T take the job, blamed me for his refusal, wouldn't answer my questions, then left after less than ten minutes. His partner was much more understanding and professional but doesn't make up for this guy. Also neither employee wore a mask or gloves or any type of protective equipment during a global pandemic. Then after reading my review he tried to make it sound like I did something wrong. Instead of refusing me entirely he COULD have told me that he would have to wait for what I sprayed to wear off so we could have solved the problem together and I would have been accepting of that. He COULD have not insulted me in my own house. He COULD have answered my questions because I was just trying to understand. You can't cancel the order once placed - so you're forced to either give-up on your money or suck it up and get into the drive-thru line. So first off.. we get there, we park to look over the menu. When we were ready we got in line for the drive thru. I think there was maybe a handful of cars in front of us....after what seemed like forever we finally get to the order box. The guys says it'll be a minute then says "what can I get you" after every time we say "can I get (insert menu item)" he goes "yupp, anything else"... had to fix the order because 2 of the drinks and another menu item was wrong. The whole experience took an hour from start to finish. We're on our way finally and my daughter is passing out the food...my burger is missing so we had to turn back around. Last time I came to the Sonic I sat in drive-through line forever so this time I decided to order on the app set my time and pick it up and I still waited for probably 20 minutes, 15 of it was after my pick up time. I never set out to right bad reviews More to possibly alert the business owners. Sonic in parkland use to have it all together.. They were fast they handed out orders not in order which if your in line and your order is done and especially when doing uber or doordash that's helpful. fast forward a year to now.... Now whenever you show app you're not even acknowledged at the drive through you wait 10 minutes just to finally hear a voice.... Terrible. Cold food. Incredibly S l o w service. Ordered a simple burger, fries and drink. about 25 min later others had come, eaten and left while I sat. When I asked, they said the printer was burnt out and the orders were redirected to the drive through - all well and good, but how did they get other orders before and after me out to those customers? When they finally did bring me my order, it was clear THIS was the burger that had been made nearly a half hour before. One side of the bun was smooshed in and soggy and it would have been warmer if I'd put it in my armpit for ten minutes. The fries were warm, not hot. I thought they were edible, but then found numerous small pieces of former potatoes, now charcoal briquettes - proving they take no care to keep their fryers clean and have no compunction against serving old food to their customers. They were out of a lot of stuff including something that was part of the combo I got, and when I said that's fine can I have fries instead they charged me for it, and I said no I'm not paying for something because your store is out of it. This place was awesome! We pulled over at the areas where they bring the food to you but they only take card there and I had cash, so we drove to the window instead. The line was long and so was the wait. This was our second time at a Sonic, so we just went with their original burgers with cheese, fries and a milk shake plus a soda. Their fries are delicious! Better than mcdonalds (true). Their burgers were so delicious as well (this is from someone who doesn't really like burgers, specially fast food chains). My daughter loved her shake except the size was super big for a small one. My soda tasted fresh and had a great flavor too. Went in the other day around 11am, just to get an iced coffee and pay less than what the S....... coffee chain would charge. Well, I guess I got what I paid for. At least I didn't have to wait in the drive-thru for long, but when I got the drink it was exactly as I "requested"..hot coffee with ice cubes put in and a ton of cream and sugar. Seriously. Took my family here today at 5 o'clock, thought it'd be cool to have dinner in the jeep with the top off in their stalls. Well 45 minutes later, still no food, no one came out to apologize or let us know any type of status. They were completely overwhelmed. Unsure how a fast food place gets that way, but they definitely were. I wouldn't have waited that long had i not already paid at the kiosk. Finally I got someone's attention and told them I just wanted a refund..... another 15 minutes. The kid finally came out with a receipt for a refund. Absolutely horrible customer service. Ordered 58 dollars worth of food. They forgot items I ordered. Then I was missing another item when I got my other missing food in a bag. The " manager", who should not be in this position told me he was the cook of our order, and he packed it himself. And he knows for sure he packed it. He only gave us 1 sandwich when we ordered two. He told me I would have to pay for another, but he is not giving us one. I told him why would I lie to get a extra chicken slider? I payed for 2 and only got 1. Absolutely unprofessional. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SONIC LOCATION IN WASHINGTON!! Three purchases in less than a month and ALL have left me wondering why I've gone back. Sonic was always a childhood favorite for chilipies, hot dogs & cherry limeaid, but this location destroys that. Acknowledging you have a customer is #1 when they are waiting. So if you cant take their order immediately- you still need to say hello before theyve waited 10mins at the drivethru speaker. We have no idea if the people inside are ok, or whats going on but please remember this is supposed to be a fast food restaurant, so at very least let us know youll be with us in a moment. After receiving no response, I circled and pulled into a carhop space and still waited another ten mins for someone to respond. When she responds she says she'll be with us in a moment. We wait another ten minutes as we see the drivethru fill up with cars wrapped around the entrance. Carhop customers start getting out of their cars walking to the patio doors looking thru the windows and even they arent acknowledged. Staff sitting on patio and apparently also along carhop wall taking breaks at this time are completely oblivious and say nothing while theyre texting on their phones. This is all happening during dinner time. Total 26mins before someone takes my order, 9mins later someone gives me my food basically throwing it at me because they have a multitude of customers who are still waiting at drivethru. Its entertaining because on a hot day you can hear the conversations of ALL the angry customers but also the responses of the employees. Some of the younger employees are simply not trained & I dont hold that against them. The lead employees however are RUDE and condescending. Dont tell customers who have been waiting at car hop to get in a full drive thru line to get their food-- WHAT??? There is a fence at your drivethru, how are they supposed to get their car out of the drivethru or are you planning to make them wait till you have responded to ALL the drivethru customers ahead of them?? After hearing these kind of conversations & seeing others trying repeatedly to get attention at the doors, I have food-- but its not my order!!! I push the red button-- but why?? No one will answer so I leave after 5mins. Third times a charm, I absolutely will NEVER waste my time or money at this SONIC again. Dont ask me what the other two visits this month were like because they were filled with more of the same. Regional managers need to explain to the leads at this location that Working in a restaurant is a "service" position no matter whether youre a mgr or a 16yr old associate. Dont treat your customers like they are less than you or not worthy of your time.
