This is the best coffee we've had in a while. Since dancing goats left us high and dry. It's a total hidden gem. The owner is so sweet and lovely and has made a comforting vibe in a little nook of a place.

Impressive service, cute ambience, and a separate room for our book club meeting! The entrance is from a sketchy alley, but we parked in front of the glass blowing shop and it seemed pretty safe.

Stopped by to grab a quick bite and coffee. Excellent conversation from the barista, fantastic coffee, locally sourced bakery items, and a cute interior. Will visit again, thank you!

Cute in the middle of chaos. Adorable little spot with awesome service, drinks and food. We were visiting from out of town and searched for a spot like this for breakfast. First thing, ignore the maps, they take you to the wrong side of the building. It's on the a side, kind of looks like an alley. Second, try the pour over. Great flavor, low acidity. Third, the ciabatta sandwiches and bagels. So good and fresh. We didn't attend, but apparently they turn into a dry speakeasy at night. Really cool concept if you're looking for some non alcoholic cocktails. They have a full on bartender and live music. Will check it out for sure next time we're in town.

Curious #5 on the rocks. Cin cin!

Great quiet place to have a mocktail or coffee and chill! Three four top tables a six top and lounge area. Tons of spirits for sale in the bottle room. Close to melting pot and el gaucho.

    Mocktails

This place is so fun! They have a cool mixture of coffee, teas, mocktails and snacks. Clean and the service is friendly fast and the owner rocks! They also carry our favorite local teas and fire cider from Sacred Oak Apothecary! Come have coffee, tea or a mocktail after work. Bring a game or come listen to some good music.

    Semi closed off space

Super cute coffee shop! We were driving through Tacoma and needed to find a place to take a few hours of work calls and this place was great. Video chatting was no problem and there are outlets available. There's also a room that can kind of be closed off if you need a little bit of privacy. They also have tasty mocktails (another way it's perfect for a place to do some work on your computer!)

With the help of Yelp, I found this place to get out of the rain and what a great place it is! Great coffee, pastries, service, décor.

Cute place, hidden and fun. Great choices and the mock-tail scene seems like a nice option. The only caveat is the location.

We came here for a birthday, the server gave us complimentary "bubbles" to cheers with, which was very sweet. I do have to say, the mocktails here were pretty disappointing. They seem to just be sparkling water with maybe some syrup added but overall they're pretty bland. The mocktails and oysters were nothing to rave about, however the entrees were the stars of the show. The ratatouille was so juicy and very delicious. The salmon was cooked well but the side of the salad was what stole the show for me, I believe it was a corn side. The steak was pretty small for the price but it was melt in your mouth delicious. The desserts were great, we even got a little candle in one of them for the birthday girl. We got the chocolate fig which had a hidden surprise of salt sprinkled on top, and the pumpkin dessert. One thing I wasn't a fan of was that the food was not brought out at once. It has one person sitting with their meal while the others wait on there's. That and the mocktails are my only complaints. Very cute place and very yummy entrees

The food was decent but nothing to really write home about. The shake however was really not good. For $10 each shake, I was expecting some delicious chocolate and pistachio flavors but instead it tasted like thick milk. An extremely bland milky flavor with shredded pastry crisps and pistachio on top. No chocolate flavor whatsoever. This is a place that has "Shake" in their name so I'd expect the shakes to be the best part of the experience but it was actually the worst. If I come back for another burger, I'll get it with a lemonade or some fruity drink next time but with as dissatisfied I was with that shake, I won't get another shake here again.

I had to wait a little longer than expected, but the staff was kind and helpful. They checked on me and my order several times, which I really appreciated. I ordered a lettuce-wrapped burger, and it was delicious. The vegetables were fresh, and the burger was juicy and well-seasoned. Even without the bun, it was very satisfying. Overall, I had a great experience. I'm really glad they opened a Tacoma location--now we don't have to drive far to get Shake Shack. I'll definitely be back, especially to try their milkshakes next time!

We should have come here a long time ago! There was a wine tasting going on when we arrived and we got to try five different types of wine for $ 10.00. The gentleman that was conducting the wine tasting was incredibly knowledgeable about all the wine that was presented and you could tell that he had a real love for what he was doing. The wines that were featured could be bought by the bottle if you wanted. There is a downstairs from the tasting room with a wine shop where there are other selections in addition to the wines that are being featured for the tasting. The tasting room is fun, relaxing... some might call it retro but it has a delightful charm to it which makes it very unique and there is a little dog that will greet you as well which is precious. The gentleman that was running the wine tasting said that each tasting usually features different wines so right then and there is a reason to go back.
