Ok..I was feeling thirsty and remembered the drinks at Sonic. Haven't been here in years. I always get the Strawberry slushy 44 oz. It hit the spot. I was looking for a stall to pull into and 95% of them were removed and broken. They only have 5 speakers. I pulled in looked at the menu. Thry don't carry the fritos & chili anymore..So I oushed the button to start my order. Lady came on and said I'll be right with you..so I waited and waited and waited..the screen reset itself so I pushed the button again. Lady comes on and takes my order. I ordered the strawberry slushy a corn dog and soft pretzel twist...the corn dog was burnt like it was left in the oil too long it was split down the side and the hot dog inside was burnt. Pretzel was ok it was nothing special..girl that delivered the food did a good job. Thoughts. I will order drinks or shakes I'll never order the food again. Took my kids to sonic for a summer treat. My bill was $34 and I asked her for a water cups because it's hot and I was thirsty and she literally told me I had pay for water cup. After I waited 20 mins in the drive thru and spent that much money at a place that half the menu is broke off but she told me she had charge me for ice water cup. That is ridiculous. Ordered drinks online before ariving to sonic and it took about 30 min to get our drink and we had another online order by my sister placed at the same time and they told us at first they had it but when we arrived they said they didint have it so we asked for the big manager and she said they never got it. When we showed her the receipt she said we can't do anything and got super defensive and smart with us. 8/24/25 at about 12pm Waited at the drive true speaker for about 5min I called at the speaker with no reply and no sound drove up to the window and soon as I got there was sent away by a rude employee said we only take orders at speaker and closed the window I was trying to see if there was a problem with the speaker it happens. 1st time ever going to sonic and will be my last. This place need a -10 stars. Drove up to the drive in stall. Waited 5 mins before a horrible person name Samantha (so she says) finally ask for our order. She had a bad attitude from the the very beginning. Could not ask a question without all of the attitude. She claimed she couldn't hear me. I use to be a drill sgt and you can't hear this base in my voice. So my husband repeated the order and she just kept going on about put your mouth up to the monitor. so he tells her I am as close as I can't get can you hear me now? Now this lady with the bad attitude seems to get angry at that question. So my husband says a #7 and ask if a #6 is also the chili dog. She replies " if that's what you want". So hubby tells her " you really are rude for no reason". Sarcastically she says "well I apologize for that I can't hear you". I say to my husband let's just go to wienerschnitzel she will probably spit in our food. Miraculously this chick can now hear. She chuckles and says "I probably won't" so what's your order a # 7 and a 6? My husband still being humble ask her for her name and advises we will not be ordering. She said something else as we were backing up. If this is how Sonic handles their customers (which I am almost certain it is) they will never have to worry about getting a dime out of my house hold. It was so bad with this chick I was waiting for her to start throwing racial slurs. I'm pretty sure that she goes home with a smile on her face knowing she can be as nasty as she wants to be with customers and sonic allows this. Diane and I were mostly disappointed after our single outing here. This was largely due to the Grilled Cheese Double Burgers we received not coming close to matching the advertised version, which showed a color photograph of a sandwich that was just oozing with melted cheese. In both instances what we received were simply two small meat patties and mostly unmelted cheese sunk into two slices of White Bread. The bread was not buttery, and did not appear to be even grilled at all as advertised. In contrast, an all-beef Chicago Dog with tomato slices, Sport Peppers, a pickle spear, Emerald Relish, Yellow Mustard, and White Onions on a Poppyseed Bun was small but pretty-good tasting, and skinny Fries and crispy Tots were very good. So, results were mixed regarding ordered food items. Several intercom units alongside car hop drive-in lanes were broken. Then, once a working unit was found, it still took a wait of 10 minutes before anyone replied to take our order, after which we were told that "Adriana is on her way," A car hop arrived at our car 21 minutes later and was friendly enough, but had forgotten to bring any requested ketchup. read more

I didn't check the rating before deciding to come here. Now I know why this location has such a low rating. While trying to order, the woman taking our order kept saying "I'm sorry, I can't hear you" and was even doing it with the car to our left. My dad was speaking very loud and clear as was the car next to us. I could hear them ordering from the passenger side of our car one stall over. It took forever to get our order in because the woman couldn't hear. Then, we found out the bathrooms are closed. It took my dad 10 minutes to find someone to ask them about the bathroom. While my dad was waiting to ask, another customer had gone up to the staff because they got his order wrong. While we were waiting for our order, the car in the stall to our right decided to roll a blunt and start smoking it. Around the 30min mark of waiting, my dad pressed the button again to ask where our order was. The woman said "just so you know, it's going to be about a 20-25min wait." Had they started off with that 30min prior, we wouldn't have been so irritated. The food finally came out right when the woman told us that. It took 30min for us to get our food at the stall. In that one, we saw multiple cars come and go in the drive-thru. They definitely favor the drive-thru so if you do come here, don't order at a stall. We were trying to kill time because traffic was stopped on the freeway from a fatality accident. We finally got our food and my dad's bread was missing a good piece out of it. Sonic's food has never tasted the greatest, but we wanted to try the grilled cheese double burger. We weren't that impressed. The cheese was barely melted on mine and it looked like plastic. There was a girl working the orders over the intercom April 1st at 630pm at this location and she was antagonizing my partner and I for asking her for help, forget bad reviews that's how you top off someone having a bad day to push them over the edge. She was an absolute trash bag with a dirty mouth acting as the only point of contact between SONIC and their customers. I only come here for their shakes, and they always do a good job. Staff was nice enough, though not exactly welcoming. Service was fast, and the prices are fair. We ordered the Classic Chocolate and Classic Strawberry shakes. They're exactly what you'd expect - basic shakes. Nothing extraordinary, but they tasted good and were what we wanted. I love that Sonic doesn't use a syrup for the strawberry shake, and you actually get chunks of the fruit. Something else I love about Sonic's shakes are how thick they are. They aren't icy or soupy; the thickness makes the shakes really enjoyable. I do like the thicker whipped cream that sonic uses. It tastes good and doesn't melt super quick. This also makes it great for mixing into the shakes, which I think actually makes the chocolate shake taste better. It cuts the chocolate flavor just enough to add a lighter sweet tone. We got smalls, which were actually pretty big. The mini would probably be the perfect size for one person for a post-meal dessert. Overall, still one of my go-to places for shakes. I've timed it to avoid rushes, doesn't matter. You are going to wait a MINIMUM of 20-30 minutes at this location to get your "fast" food. Even when they get to take the order quickly, the wait time is outstandingly long. This location cannot keep employees, I've learned. They hemorrhage employees, and I can't help but assume management is the reason after my years in the food service industry. I really like going through the drive-in. Sometimes it's quick and sometimes the line is long. But it's worth the wait. I love there slushy's and there onion rings and corn dogs the best. This Sonic continues to disappoint. I'm not sure how it survives. Every time I go here, they're out of a menu item that I order or want. Two prime examples: A couple of weeks ago, I ordered the chicken strips combo with a pretzel twist. They didn't have chicken strips AND they didn't have pretzel twists. No warning. No sign. Just "sorry, we don't have chicken strips or pretzels right now". Then today I received an email about 50 cent corn dog Thursday. "All Day Today", the ad stated. Well, I sit in the drive-thru for 10 minutes, get to the speaker to order and....there's a sign on the menu stating they are out of corn dogs! WTH? How in the heck do you invite me to your establishment for a corn dog and don't have any corn dogs? If you're going to advertise for a special, be prepared for that special! I'm not sure how this place survives; And I didn't include the time I was told at order menu that they would "be with me in a minute". That "minute" turned into 15 minutes with no cars in front of me, and when I finally decided to just drive up to window to give my order, the employee had the balls to tell me I needed to drive back around and order from the speaker. Over the course of this past week, I have gone to Sonic in hopes of enjoying one menu item; their sausage breakfast burrito. To my surprise and utter disappointment, twice I went and was told that they didn't have the ingredients, whether it was the eggs or simply the willpower to make it I'm not sure. Today I thought, third times the charm and for once I was correct. Unfortunately, this is where my good luck ran out. Upon placing the order, I had to wait at the window for several minutes before receiving the worst excuse for a burrito I have ever seen. Many times in the past I have received very delightful meals from this location. It's gotten to the point where I can easily judge the quality based on the feel and first look behind the foil wrapper. Sometimes they have been tightly wrapped, condensed flavors for a beautiful meal. Other times, the cheese has delicately sealed the burrito, protecting the contents from falling out. In one of the worst experiences I have ever had when unwrapping my food, I could immediately tell the food was going to be a disappointment. The burrito was loosely wrapped; no seal of cheese could be seen. The person at the window said it was hot. It was warm at best. Upon further inspection, I was horrified to find out that my burrito had been rolled the WRONG WAY. I can understand if burritos aren't often ordered. But to lack the common sense and practicality to incorrectly roll a burrito is testament to a fall in humanity. To have a burrito divided into eggs and sausage on opposite sides instead of beautifully melded with cheese is the deepest heartbreak one can experience from a restaurant. I will never be able to look at a burrito the same way again without being haunted by this memory. All enjoyment has been glazed over by this torment. I wouldn't wish this on anyone else. It takes forty five minutes to get your food if you order at the kiosk, And 25 to 30 minutes to get it if you order it on the app 20 minutes in advance. What the fuck is fast food about this place. Once in the drive thru we ordered and thought everything would be okay until we got to the cashier. Once at the cashier, we were told that we can't use any bills over $20. Our total was $47 and I only had a $50 bill. We were told that their 'manager' would get in trouble? How in the world are you guys going to get in trouble for taking CASH?! It makes no sense.
