So so so disappointed in Dairy Queen on this Mother's Day'. We Came in for dessert (party of 4), as I came in the door I heard what appeared to be playing around behind the counter. I saw the impatient looks of disappointment on customers who had ordered and were waiting on their orders. The Restaurant was packed as was the drive through (only one line was open), I went to the counter and could not help but see unorganized chaos. The young guy asked was I ready to order, I asked was he ready because I saw 10-12 blizzard cups still being prepared. He said they were just a little behind, but after seeing an absolutely filthy counter surface I decided not to spend my money on an establishment that doesn't appear to care about their business or the customer. The new item is the Blue Cookie Crunch dip. We love Cookie Monster ice cream and rather than going to our favorite sure thing Michocana, we can here. Stuck in the drive thru they tell us they ran out of the dip they are advertising on TV. We will resume going to the Michocana. read more

Came here after Dinner for Dessert and boy was it hopping my goodness. Service well Drive thru was slammed & walk in they were lack a days ago but I got my order quicker than expected when others who ordered seemed to have been waiting for some time. Of coarse the food is good cant complain about that and i hate even making this cause i love dairy queen but the service here is SO SLOW, any time of day no matter how many cars in the drive thru your waiting at least 15 minutes for your food. Theres two intercoms to take orders and today I was ignored on the second intercom, while 6 cars orders were taken from the other one, there was no signs that it wasn't working and it was not blocked off. So in total i waited 50 minutes to order and get my food. The guys that were taking my order seemed like they could really care less and have no sense of urgency. Maybe this is dairy queens standard but i've never had an issue at the others I've gone to. My family was very excited to finally have a Dairy Queen here in the high desert. We were there for their first day opening and have been there several times after that. Each time we left disappointed, we thought that eventually they would get better. We tried them again today, and unfortunately nothing has changed. Customer service is lacking, there is no smiles or thank you's. We ordered blizzards, and all four of them were not mixed completely. All toppings were on top and plain at the bottom. The Heath blizzard had a mixture of everything else including brownies (this was supposed to be just heath), except for heath. Unfortunately, we probably won't be back. Drove about 20 minutes to treat my Grandsons to DQ Blizzards. Eating on the return drive home we found the add-ins were only lightly mixed in the top 1-1/2 to 2 inches, the rest of the cup only had plain vanilla soft serve. It was the same on all four blizzards purchased. At home I called and spoke to the manager and she said that was impossible because of the way they're made. Obviously it is possible because we received it. She said if we returned them she would replace or refund them. I explained I wasn't driving another 20 minutes back plus 20 minutes more home today. My main concern was that she have a conversation with the employees, but not confident that will happen. Poor customer service at DQ, and poor customer service by the manager. read more

Don't order online for pick up!! Oh my god. I figured this would be the quickest way to get in an out and I was there for over an HOUR. They don't start to make your food until you get there and tell them you're there to pick up an order, and good luck getting a hold of anyone to tell. They don't appear to be short staffed like most every other place nowadays, but they're all rushing around and avoiding eye contact like they'll catch on fire if they acknowledge you. I stood in the "online orders" area for 20 min thinking maybe no online orders are ready yet, no biggie, before I finally physically had to block someone to stop her and ask if I'm even in the right place. She asked for my name and put my order in. 20 min later I got my ice cream and "have a good day", I said "I ordered food, too". 30 min later, with melted ice cream in my hand, I finally got my food. To be fair, it was extremely busy, and everyone was very polite once they did finally acknowledge me. But what's the point of ordering online if they don't start it until you're there?? The second time I went, I went through the drive through. It looked to be super slow, and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Food was great both times. My husband ordered inside to take to go and did not get our exact order. He ordered two 6 piece chicken strips and one of our orders only came with 4 pieces. They also were trying to give him a melted blizzard that was sitting there while he waited for the food. My husband had them remake it and they did not flip it upside down. The food was okay but we were not happy with the service and the order not being right when my husband got home from a long day of work. He said the workers were standing around talking about scheduling and not getting orders out quickly and efficiently. Now I love DQ so it hurts me not to give a 5 star but today was just annoying. The cashier (I believe her name is vocasta) took my order for the free cones and forgot to put up my ticket so I could get them made. She lied to every other customer saying "we're out of stock" or "only the vanilla" is free when I clearly heard her tell others "chocolate and vanilla soft serve are free, dipped and confetti cones are 1 dollar". We watched as several different order were fulfilled before asking a nice young lady named Rebecca if our order was on the board. After she told us no she quickly asked to see our receipt and gout our order made fast. Other than the rude lady at the cashier we've had no other issues. Ok, so we came here today and they told us they were out of burger patties! Well, we came for a burger and ice-cream. Went there last night for a little cruise and stayed to eat. I think it was their opening night and they nailed it! Welcomed right as we walked in, customer service at the counter was great (dude was a little nervous but you did a great job bud, everyone has to get thru their first day on the job), food came out fast and hot.
