This Oct. on a road test of customer's car,I got into a fender bender , very small accident,I referred the other party ( the car I hit) to my insurance for their damage, a week later, he called and told me that because I do not own a company car and did not carry commercial car liability insurance, the claim is denied, I will have to pay out of pocket, and advise me that if I want to test drive customer's car in the future, I will need to get a company car add this coverage for an additional $1,600+, I was puzzled, I pay over $4,000 for my shop insurance, I thought I was fully covered. I came to find out that due to incompetent or carelessness , he did not add NONE OWN VEHICLE coverage on my policy, which my former broker informed me that with most insurance company, this is included or added with general shop liability insurance at a very minimum charge or free, NOT $1,600+. instead of being honest and admit to the mistake , he tried to sell me more insurance that I don't need. I trusted the wrong person. Please double and triple check the policy he sells you to make sure you are covered, and is what you needed, I made the mistake of trusting him , now I will be paying dearly. ST.

I changed to them from another insurance company a couple years ago and saved me over $1000 a year. Their website is set up great and very easy to use, I can make any changes that I need to without even having to call my agent. I would highly recommend them!!

I have been a Liberty Mutual customer for 22 years, insuring two homes and two vehicles, and never…read moremissed a payment. Liberty Mutual chose not to renew my homeowners policy after a brief exterior inspection. One of the reasons cited was 'debris.' The inspector classified neatly stacked lumber, construction materials stored along the side yard fence, shelving, and other stored items as debris, even though there was no trash, abandoned vehicles, overgrown vegetation, or hazardous conditions noted elsewhere in the report. None of this stuff was even touching the house and you can fit a whole car between a house and this so called 'deris'. The report also cited peeling fascia paint but did not identify the exact location of the alleged damage, and the accompanying photo did not clearly document it. The inspection rated my roof, gutters, foundation, patios, and detached structures as acceptable even though my roof is 3 yrs old and stucco is 4 yrs old. I asked whether correcting the cited conditions would allow reconsideration, and I was told no. After 22 years as a loyal customer, I was disappointed that I wasn't given an opportunity to remedy the concerns before losing coverage.
