If your looking for someone that is professional and considerate of your time sonny is not the guy & here are my reasons for saying such. I spoke to him on a Saturday about doing one on one training with my nephew and was told to arrive at 4 o'clock Monday. So Monday comes around my nephews excited to go. We left a little early so we made sure to have enough To go find the building for some reason my gps took me elsewhere so I called and when he first answered he seem As tho he didn't remember the appointment than I explained im close but can't find it, he gave me directions and said I'm at the bank I'll be there shortly. We get there right at 4 and no one is there besides an older gentleman which later I find out is his father(NOT THE FRIENDLIEST). I do the paperwork and time is just ticking finally sonny shows up at 4:15 remember are appointment was to start a 4. Even with me being lost I made it on time. But anyways he get there introduces his self and before they start I ask will he still be getting his hour and he said he's they will just end later since they were starting later. Ok the session went well and both me and my nephew were pleased and scheduled for the following monday same time. Monday comes & my nephew being a teen wanted to be lazy and change is mind about going. Nope wasn't happening so I told him your going and I won't let you waste mine or theses peoples time. So we get there at 3:57 &the place looks completely empty, so we sit back in the care and around 4 I call Sonny's cell twice, No answer! Shortly after I than see someone is inside and it's his father we go to the door and he Let's us in ...looking a little confused. I tell him we have a 4 o'clock appointment with your son he than calls his son right in front of us and sonny picks up in two rings (weird) I just called. Regardless his father says he will be here in a bit. What really got me was when he finally did show up around 15mins later he calls my nephew over says what's up to my nephew and than gets into a full on conversation about the major paperview fight that happened over the weekend. I mean come on your already late to your appointment, I'm paying you mind you, you don't apologize to either of us and go into a conversation with someone else your focus should be your client! I mean it is a boxing gym I expect these conversations to go on but maybe on YOUR FREE TIME. So after seeing this rude, unprofessional behavior I decided forget today's session and this boxing gym we will go elsewhere. My nephew than grab his stuff and we left ... only to receive a call later from sonny asking if we had a family emergency What? No the emergency here is you being unprofessional, you not showing up when you say you are & do you know he had the nerve to say I was is meeting when u called. Um who schedules a meeting right before a one on one or goes to the bank before. I have a business of my own and that's not how things work. If your being paid do your job NO EXCUSES!!!

My son really likes attending. I like how every child gets greeted by name when they walk in.

I had the opportunity to train at Sonny's boxing gym in Goodyear to prepare for a Master's boxing tournament that I competed in.

I'm not even sure I want to talk about this place…read more I mean I literally die here 3 times a week Ok no seriously Danny is the manager and he's absolutely amazing. How he remembers everyone's name is beyond me but as you enter the building there he is with a big smile on his face. Please note, this goes both ways so when you start slacking he's there like where have you been. The teachers are amazing Don't get me wrong these workouts are challenging but the trainers are so supportive and want to see you do well. They all joke around and it truly feels like family

I am a former member and employee of Knockout Fitness. During my three years there, I was committed…read moreto my training and initially had a positive experience, until inappropriate behavior from my coach began to surface. Unfortunately, he was not the only one. As both a trainee and a coach, I experienced a pattern of misconduct, including suggestive comments and boundary-crossing behavior from multiple staff members, among them the head coach, front desk personnel, and several male members. The environment was consistently unprofessional and, at times, hostile. I was made to feel uncomfortable on numerous occasions, and as a woman, I was not taken seriously. My concerns were dismissed, my boundaries ignored, and my professionalism undermined. The emotional and psychological toll this has taken on me continues to affect my ability to feel safe and respected in gym spaces. Specific individuals overstepped their roles in ways that were unacceptable and contributed to a toxic and unsafe environment. I am working on retaining documentation, including messages and screenshots, that substantiate my experiences. I am currently pursuing legal guidance to ensure the harm done is properly addressed for myself and am posting under an alias to protect my identity while this process unfolds. Additionally, there were significant health and safety concerns within the facility. A friend of mine suffered a severe infection, nearly resulting in blindness, due to the unsanitary conditions of the equipment. This level of negligence further underscores the lack of responsibility exhibited by the management. I will not be silenced. I will continue to advocate for myself and for any woman who has experienced similar treatment at Knockout. If you are one of those women, please come forward. You are not alone. Many of the friendships I formed there were with others who had faced the same violations and disrespect. Together, we deserve better. This is not just about me, it is about demanding accountability. I will remain relentless until justice is served, I will not take legal action against knockout but I will demand I get help anyway I can with the evidence I have to assist me in my career.

We are absolutely loving Master Scott's Taekwondo Kids! As a family with deep roots in martial arts…read more-- my husband was a karate instructor himself -- we weren't going to settle for just any studio. We found exactly what we were looking for here. Master Scott is genuinely wonderful with kids. He's kind, patient, and clearly passionate about what he teaches. Our 10yo son has gotten so much stronger since joining, and more importantly, he's developing a real appreciation for martial arts as a lifelong practice -- not just something to do after school. If you're in the Litchfield Park area and looking for a reputable, high-quality program led by someone who truly cares about his students, look no further. Highly recommend!

Before choosing this dojo, I visited several different places because I wanted to find the right fit. As a dad, I was not just looking for a place that teaches kicks and punches. I was looking for a place with strong leadership, real patience, a healthy culture, and people who genuinely know how to work with young children. The reason I landed here was because of Master Scott and the support system he has built around him. From the beginning, it was clear that this place is about much more than martial arts. They are helping build confidence, discipline, focus, respect, and courage in these kids. My daughter is only four, and she is doing incredible. She looks forward to class, takes pride in what she is learning, and continues to grow both on and off the mat. Watching her gain confidence, listen well, respond to instruction, and believe in herself has meant a lot to me. One thing I really appreciate is the way they challenge the kids while still meeting them at their level. That balance is not easy to find. They know how to make class engaging and age appropriate, but they also hold the children to a real standard. That matters. Kids rise when adults believe they can. Master Scott has created an environment that feels structured, encouraging, and safe. You can tell he cares deeply about the children and the families who walk through the door. That kind of leadership sets the tone for everything. The support from the staff has also been a huge part of why this experience has been so positive for us. As a parent, there is something really special about finding a place where your child is not only welcomed, but truly seen. This has been that kind of place for us. I have watched my daughter grow stronger, more confident, and more determined, and I'm thankful for the role TaekwonKids has played in that. I highly recommend this dojo to any parent looking for more than just an activity. This place is helping shape character, and that is worth a lot.
