They have changed to an appointment only system. (Technically you can select standby list on the kiosk, but "no guarantee you'll be seen that day") However on their website appointments are greyed out for the next 5 days, so you either need to plan ahead to book your appointment or can look at same day to see what is left. While I was at the office I asked the staff if I could book for the next day as the appointments left didn't work for me, but they could not help with that. Her recommendation was to come into the office at 6:00am to see what appointments were available - so doesn't look like the staff has any control over scheduling - its all controlled by website/kiosk. read more

After waiting an hour for this lab to open, so I can be 1st for bloodwork and can still get to work. The same process I have done for years. They now force you to make an appointment and wait till a scheduled time. So now I sit and hour while they do almost nothing till an appointment comes due. Most working class can not take a day off every month just to play games making appointment times that they don't keep anyway. It's a poor way of doing things and a lab I will not use going forward. read more

I've been here several times and it's constantly the same. There's no one working the front desk and even though I always make an appointment. It's 30-45 minutes before they call be back for a blood draw. The workers aren't obviously overworked and very short with everyone. read more

Yikes--the bad reviews about this place were spot on. We had an appointment, but our name wasn't called until 20 minutes after. There is nobody to greet you when you walk in--you're just expected to figure it all out on your own. The front door is plastered with a wall of papers and notes that would take forever to sort through and figure out what pertains to you. Once inside, the blonde receptionist had her side turned to us and completely ignored our presence. Seeing her ignore us, I was so glad I had read the reviews prior to coming in so I knew to just look for the check-in kiosk and figure everything out myself. The waiting room was overflowing with no seats left, so we opted to wait in the hallway for the text update. When we were texted that our turn was ready, we walked back in and I stood near the front desk again, unsure of where to go. The same receptionist who ignored us earlier curtly asked, "Do you have a question?" When I explained our number was called, her dismissive attitude was entirely uncalled for. To management: Working in healthcare requires baseline compassion. Patients don't visit a lab every day, and leaving people to fend for themselves while copping an attitude when they ask for help is disheartening. The blonde woman at the front desk needs a major lesson in customer service. Note: The gentleman who drew my daughter's blood was completely fine and did his job well. But due to the front desk experience, I do not recommend this location. read more

Arrived without appointment for specimen drop off. Easy check in. Enough space for patients to spread out during busy times. My wait time was brief. The employee was efficient and in no time, I was on my way. Pro tip: f there is a longer wait, you can wait in your car and they will text you when it's your turn. read more

This has got to be the slowest location ever! No matter what time of day, regardless if you make an appointment or walk in you will wait....and wait....and wait. The front desk staff constantly leave up the sign that says they're away from the desk. I watched a man check in at the kiosk and sit there for almost an hour before he finally went to the desk to ask what was taking so long and they didn't even realize he'd checked in. Hard to find as there are no signs outside for Sonora; just park outside and go straight in all the way down the hall on the first floor. They have bathrooms you can use. Appointment went by smoothly. They are pretty busy, so remind them of your appointment if you think that they are forgetting about you (mine was delayed 15 minutes). There's a kiosk for check-in, so you can wait or they can text you when it's your turn (but I never got my text, odd). Oh and definitely book online instead of just walking in! read more

Darn near everything! Snotty attitudes and lack of empathy. Waited an hour and 45 minutes to find out my Dr. screwed up the blood test order. When I got there I asked if they would look at the order, they said when they called me, if they had taken a minute and looked I wouldn't have been there for an hour & 45 minutes. Took a urine sample for my baby with a potential uti on Tuesday morning. My sons doctor and I followed up all week and they said results weren't in. On Friday morning they told my sons doctor that his urine sample was never taken to the lab and was lost. Don't trust them my baby has suffered longer due to their incompetence. read more

This office doesn't prioritize at risk patients! If you have a newborn with possible health issues, DON'T COME here! In most offices newborns have a special waiting area to keep away from crowds. This lab seems to always be very busy. If you are in good health, waiting an hour or two isn't a big deal. But maybe prioritize newborn, at risk patients. Etc. read more

Apparently, they have started billing you through your Email account without your authorization. I asked where the paper bill was and they gave me an excuse that they did but, the mail was returned saying I don't live at the address I collect mail from on a daily basis for the last 3 years!!! They are making me wait in a line of about 30 people to drop of a test sample. WHY? Why can't I drop off with orders, id and ins. Info. I already gave them everything when I picked up the test. What a crappy process. What idiot created this process and said it was good? This place is a joke. Then when the girl calls me back she tells me that I should have two vile to fill but they only gave me one...so now I have to fill another vile and go back again because the moron who gave me the test kits MISSED it. The very large heavy guy is the idiot that put the kits together last week according to the drs order so he basically DIDN'T DO HIS JOB AND I GET STUCK HAVING TO COME AGAIN WITH ANOTHER STOOL SAMPLE. This location on Gantzell in Queen Creek is sorely UNDERSTAFFED. I had an appointment and it is still at least a 45 minute wait. The walk in wait is THREE hours! They line the hallways with people and have EIGHT chairs inside. This is VERY POORLY RUN. read more

This location is poorly run, not sure if it is staff there or higher up. Had a 10:30 appointment, arrived early as requested to check in and submit order, I look at their board and I am #13 in line, about 10:35 I go up to the counter, mentioned that I had a 10:30 appointment and had not yet been called to give them my paperwork and other info. I was told I was next up, about 10 minutes later I finally get called, I question as to the point of making an appointment if you are just put in the que with the walk-ins, no good response, at this point I am #10 on their board. Another person with an 10:45 appointment who has been waiting over an half hour approaches with the exact same concerns as I did. I finally get called back at 11:30 all the while, people without an appointment continue to be called ahead of me. I express my displeasure to the tech and questioned why people without appointments are being taken ahead of people with appointments, tech states that she does not know why they are doing it that way and has to deal with angry people all day. After getting drawn, I ask to speak to an office manager and express my displeasure with having to wait so long with an appointment, the response I got was they had a lot of walk-ins, I reiterate that is why I made an appointment as I had previously walked in and had to wait as people with appointments who arrived after I did were taken first. Office manager had no good explanation, leading me to believe that is what they have been told to do. I then called customer service, was told that my concerns would be given to the location manager and that someone would contact me, what a surprise, did not receive a call. Ive never been anywhere where i walk up to the window and I personally have to be the one to say hello because both of your employees are on their phone. Plus them saying my appointment is not found when the same girl literally gave me the appointment the day before.. clearly doesn't know what's going on because she's more interested on whatever she's doing on her phone. I will continue to go to Banner Health as my primary doctor is there but i will never visit Sonora quest labs because their lack of care for the guests. Would love to see them at least try and be on their phones less idk if the supervisor said it's cool to text and talk to your guests.. maybe they could figure out how to confirm appointments instead of wasting peoples time who need medical help. read more

This location is seriously understaffed. Wait times are 2-3 hours long no matter when you show up. Even people with scheduled appointments are waiting 1-2 hours. The staff is stressed and overworked. Not okay...this place is ran horribly. I'm not sure if it has always been this horrible but I'm sure the mandates for the jab has significantly hindered the quality of care and staff because of a lack of workers. And unfortunately, I had no choice but to come here for my labs. read more

I wish I knew the name of the girl who did my blood draw....she did such a good job!!! I have small veins and am usually a hard draw and she found a vein right away and was able to do all the blood work in one poke. She and the guy at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I'll probably only go here from now on instead of driving into Gilbert to go to the the place where I usually go for lab work. read more

Tried calling lab at Safeway store on Hunt Hwy in Florence, left messages twice never received a call back (the last time i called to set up and appointment they called me back after a week and I was told they have been busy), after a couple of days went there in person to make appointment and was told soonest would be August 5th (no one waiting in waiting area, one tech setting in lobby other sitting in procedure room). This is the worst place for service only thing going for it is convenience might just start going to the one on Gantzel Rd. read more

The staff is always very friendly, you can make an appointment online so you don't have to wait forever and the techs are great. They never have a problem finding a vein the first poke and you are in and out with a smile! I stop by here every 3 months or so, so its nice that I am able to count on them with no fuss or worry. read more

Unreal Sonora is still in business. On hold for over 20 mins, still not answer hung up. Doctor ordered a two part test. First part was messed up by Sonora which made the blood draw useless for results because nothing could be compared. Sonora after 6 months still demands to be paid for the second part of test. Was told 4 times the bill was being written off. Received another bill, well they can have the 9.98. That's the last penny they get from me. read more
