I have never had a bad visit, food is always delicious. We love and recommend the steak rancheros. The service is wonderful and personable, they bring out chips and salsa right away, margaritas while you for the food to cook *chefs kiss *. I absolutely loved the food at Sonora's on Main Street. I had the enchilada Sonora which is a combo plate with lettuce, sour cream, rice and three crab/shrimp enchiladas. There is some detail cleaning that needs to be done in the restaurant but the workers and food make up for that. read more

We stopped here for dinner to go and the staff was very informative and helped us decide what to order. I got the taco salad and chimichanga which was very delicious. Juan and his family make sure that you have enough chips and salsa, and make you feel at home. My family has been going to Sonora's since they first opened, and each time we have fabulous food and service. It was my birthday and with family in town we needed a place to grab some dinner...I've been meaning to try Sonora's for months, and figured this was the perfect time to do it. It was a Tuesday night, so it was pretty quiet, and we got a nice big booth in the corner. We got some delicious queso for our chips and I ordered the streak burrito supreme. Positives: -Really good and authentic Mexican food. I've eaten at a lot of Mexican places, and this one certainly ranks right up there. Everyone else loved their food. -Fantastic portions and prices. My meal was $9 and I was quite full, plus you get the standard all you can torilla chips. -Family-owned atmosphere. The husband and wife that own the restaurant were the two running it that night, and I love that setup. Negatives: -Nothing comes to mind... This was a pleasant surprise. I saw the Dos Equis neon in the window and thought it sounded refreshing. What I found was a quaint Mexican restaurant with good prices and quality. Good food does not make up for horrible service. My wife was never offered another drink. I ordered a pitcher of beer just so I would not be left thirsty as I was empty for a long time before asked if I would like another beer. We received 1 salsa to go with a mountain of chips and were never offered more salsa... half the chips were eaten dry. We were never offered dessert. There are 2 different menus each with pricing that does not line up with the other. read more

My family loves eating here. They have excellent authentic Mexican dishes, good margaritas, and and solid selection of beers. Try the fajitas or the Jalisco Special. The kids' menu is also good. If the kids don't want to have Mexican food, they can try something more kid friendly (like chicken strips). Very friendly service! read more
