Some friends west of Buffalo needed some cheering up so I took them out to dinner. Used to come here all the time but haven't been here much in the last 2 years. We picked it cause we remembered the great prime rib and steaks. Got there and there was no prime rib. Don't know if they ran out or wasn't the right Saturday night. But that's alright. So we did the sirloins cause we used to have it all the time on steak nights that another friend got us into. The menu had one with big tiger shrimp so I got that. Steak was med rare but burnt on the top and reminded me of a tire slick. Shrimp were pretty disappointing too. Asked the friends what they thought. Their response it was sure a chewy steak. Waitress was on point and did great the whole time. After eating there 100-150 times over the last 30 years I think this was our last time. The food doesn't match the restaurant and price any more. My husband, 4 daughters, and I came here with my aunt and uncle while we were visiting. We always like trying the local mom and pop places when we are traveling and this place did not disappoint!! We were greeted and sat right away. We were greeted by our server right away. She seemed a little bit snippy when we first got there but warmed up thru our meal. They have a pretty big menu for such a small place. It was very family friendly, we felt very welcome with our younger daughters. We ordered 4 of the different burgers, the queso nachos, chicken wings, Korean bbq bowl, and the chipotle burrito bowl. The food all came out hot and fresh. The burgers were cooked with a little pink and were perfect!!!! The waffle fries came out hot! They also have a delicious dipping sauce that they serve with the fries. The bowls were amazing. Very flavorful and fresh. They were pretty big so we had left overs. We all enjoyed our meals here. Next time we are in town visiting family we will absolutely be stopping here again. Came here for a lunch one weekend off of a recommendation. Unfortunately, nothing about this place was good. The atmosphere was too loud to even have a conversation, the booths were horribly uncomfortable, and the food wasn't prepared well. Got the Reuben and Cuban with fries and onion rings. The Cuban was horribly soggy and not prepared well at all. The fries weren't cooked properly either. The Reuben was decent but not great. It was also overly salty it felt as if you'd be diagnosed with high BP right then and there. I wanted to like this place but unfortunately there were no redeeming qualities. On another note it seems their bloody Mary's are the thing to get. There are more calories and fat sticking out of that drink than a Big Mac I'm sure. It made my stomach turn just looking at these monstrous drinks being brought to people's tables. I'd say skip this place unless you're a Bloody Mary fan. read more

Mill Creek is a nice bar and grill with a good variety of offerings for your meal. With regular specials there's something new to try along with the standard menu. The prime rib they have on special every once in a while is quite good. Their special Bloody Mary is good (although I think they only serve them on the weekends). Depending on how busy they are, seating can be a bit cozy, but still enjoyable. There's a pretty big parking lot, so that's usually not an issue. Service is usually quick and pleasant. read more

I am really in between 3 and 4 stars on this one. I'll say why it's 3 stars. It's the lack of care for COVID-19 guidelines. We wanted to sit on the patio and we were able to. They don't do actual reservations. They call it "walk-in reservation", which is an oxymoron and misnomer, so you basically get there and if they can seat you, they will. We had to walk through the indoor section to get to the outdoor. It was terrifying how full the restaurant was. Also terrifying was that most servers were wearing masks improperly. The food was great. I got the tacos, which I also saw a lot of people around me get. It was a full meal. It was the perfect ratio of fish and fillings. We also got the fried pickles to start. They were spears, which makes for better finger food! It was quite good. I really want to try their giant Bloody Mary, so hopefully I'll come back once they have a better control of health & safety guidelines. read more

My girlfriend and I had the Tuesday night Steak special, $18 for a 12oz NY Strip steak and potatoes, normally $28 on other nights. The deal sounded too good to pass up. We both ordered ours medium-rear, which seems to be how it was cooked. Unfortunately both steaks were mostly grizzle. Just an unacceptable amount of hard and soft fat for a NY strip. Now I can see why they are selling these at a discount. I'd rather pay $28 else where for a quality steak, than $18 for garbage. My gf also said her waffle fries were too over cooked, so she didn't eat much of them. She didn't feel like being confrontational that night so we didn't bring up either disappointments to the waitress. Though the waitress never questioned why we didn't seem to eat much of our food. Maybe she already knew why. Ambiance was typical of a rural bar/restaurant, really no complaints with ambiance or service. read more

The Mill Creek Inn is a warm inviting place that is usually hopping with fun waiters and waitresses that really know what they're doing! They are very fast and efficient and friendly. As for the food. Here is where my review takes a turn. I have had their beef sandwiches 2 different times now. Both times were quite disappointing. The beef tastes old...very old and has a funky taste as if it has been sitting around for a while. It is also overcooked and not tender. My husband has had the burgers which I have tasted and the burger is good. Their bloody Mary is very good!! So we will come back for the drinks and burgers. But if The Mill is reading this...do yourselves a big favor and check your meat. read more
