Jesus said, give unto to Caesar what is his as a sign that he would not get involved in the political activities of His time. He told us to obey authority figures but there was nothing about pushing the people's political opinions. No, His Word is about how well we treat others. His laws are centered around how to behave towards all people. Most of all He wanted us to remember to Love God above all other things and second to that was to love our neighbors. Politics is far from this idea and the church should consider focusing on Love and Faith in the one true God. Just sad...

We discuss what they learned as we eat our donut holes on the way home. We really love this place. Love all the various ministries and activities that are available. There is something for everyone to get involved and build their relationship with God.

Pastors Neil, Mike, and Dave are great at delivering uplifting messages to their congregations. Working for this church, however, is a totally different experience. I'm only speaking about my time working for the facilities/maintenance department... the director has no idea how many labor laws are being violated under her management. She plays favorites to younger, and more often Caucasian employees, most often to the males. I am homeless, started working there and was an immediate success story. Soon I was showing other employees tricks of the trades, helping the department develop in a positive way. At the same time I was starting to rebuild my life and their management was aware of this. After 6 months I was starting to piece my life together, when I was informed I was being laid off for budget cuts. Yet, they hired a new person and merely shifted my work load to the directors husband. No cuts made. Just traded a Hispanic homeless man for two Caucasian men who were not homeless. Now I have to start all over, and for nothing more than racial discrimination. Pretty ugly for a Christian church.

The Roman Catholic Church understands this prayer as coming from the Lord Himself, who "taught and given [it] to us" and therefore provides a text that the Church hands on and prays as such. Today at vigil is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity revealed as a great Mystery and is in the essence of the "Lord's Prayer" that Jesus Christ (His only begotten son) taught us. Amen

The…read morestreets were packed with cars, and we were worried about finding a spot for our rental, but luckily, they had a designated visitor parking area. We stopped by the welcome booth, where a friendly couple gave us a brief overview of the church and answered our questions with a smile. They even gave us coupons for free coffee! After the service, we enjoyed a delicious coffee (worth over $5) at the on-site cafe right next to the church.

Jaime Pangman, stands at the door to greet everyone after the worship service.l Soon I learned of Naomi's Closet, a ministry and a small building just next the parking lot where free women's clothing is available to anyone during certain hours. Men's clothing is available at the free pancake breakfast which occurs on the first Saturday morning of month. These and other ministries extend the love of Christ to everyone.
