My nephew wanted to check out this record store in Plainville (Chicago suburbs). It's a cool shop especially for collectors. There are amazing imports from various countries. There are all genres to be found from decades past to today (Ie. Taylor Swift and other current artists.) There are records, cassettes, CD, and even 8 track tapes! You can even purchase some artist related merch like t-shirts. If you don't have a record player, I believe I saw one for sale in the front. Our fam was welcomed into the store by someone working on the sales floor. Great visit (all the way from California!) and great vibes. Left 'Round is 4 stars!

Mind you we live an hour away! We spent 3 hours going back and forth to this location several times! Disc replay prides themselves on testing and giving you working controllers but it seems to me that they have been lazy lately and needless to say WE WILL NEVER RETURN HERE! If you are looking to go to a video game store consider going to disc replay in Downers Grove, they are not affiliated with them and the staff and everyone are so helpful. I even brought the busted controller in to them and they offered to replace the battery pack at no cost!

Instead of actually checking, he led me to a section that I already knew was incorrect. I went along with it briefly to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it quickly became clear he wasn't interested in helping. Without making any effort to search or verify, he simply said they didn't have the item. He then brought over another employee who immediately backed him up rather than attempting to locate the item or provide any real assistance. This was a stark contrast to my past experiences at the Orland Park location, where employees were helpful, looked items up on their computers, and were able to locate plenty of what I was searching for. Unfortunately, the lack of effort and professionalism at this location has cost them a long-time customer. I will not be returning.

I came in to make the return, pointing out the damage showing my receipt and the plush's original packaging and price tag, and offered either store credit or to replace it with the same plush or one of equal value. I was told no, and that they don't accept returns. Despite the fact all plush are sealed meaning I couldn't have examined it for damage til I purchased it, and they were the ones who had ordered the merchandise and sold it to me, meaning the blame is on the buyer not the consumer. I felt my money was wasted with my purchase as well as my time with my attempt to return it.
