I am writing this review on my mother's behalf…read more She presented to Dr Murray with very concerning symptoms which prompted a slew of testing. It's been over a week and we have yet to hear from her office regarding any clinical information despite numerous attempts to gain more clarity and information. Not only have I been scrambling to coordinate my Moms care, Dr Murray flat out refuses to return our calls despite the urgency of this situation. Her staff has informed us that she "does not speak to patients". Her cavalier attitude speaks volumes about her professionalism and character. This is clearly not a physician that cares about her patients. Save your time, and look elsewhere if you are seeking professional and compassionate care.

I explained that I am moving to fairfield and I need to establish new care since I am 15 weeks pregnant and I cant see my old provider due to distance - I was told that it doesn't matter and I need to find someone else. I am extremely upset by this experience, this is very poor customer service and patient care. It's unfair that if i was 6 weeks pregnant, I could be seen but since I'm 15 weeks, it is now not possible. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I was told that they dont have one. *patient care is clearly not a priority to this practice*.

We had the easiest most stress free delivery possible and I attribute this to what we learned in our classes. We are putting the information from the baby care classes to use every day now that we are parents. I found these classes much more helpful than other classes I've taken or books I've read.

The idea being that along with learning what you need to about labor and caring for your newborn, you are also fostering friendships that will be invaluable to you during this next chapter in your lives.   In addition to a class series for first time parents, we will also be launching for 2nd and 3rd time parents. This series will tackle different topics, but will still provide the social support expectant parents so need. Our aim is for The Parent Collective classes to provide an invaluable service to new parents - helping manage the isolation that can come with new babies, making connections that create a safety net for post natal depression, and a judgement free opportunity to learn about the childbirth experience. Classes are held in three locations, GoFigure Barre studio in New Canaan, INTENSITY in Norwalk and here in Magic Beans in Fairfield. See our website for more information and to meet the TPC team.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Ofer and his office…read more I initially had surgery with him for a mid-urethral sling to treat stress urinary incontinence (not being able to hold urine). Unfortunately, the procedure did not work. Dr. Ofer later mentioned that there were known issues with that specific sling product. Because I did not want to undergo another invasive surgery, we discussed an alternative option using urethral bulking gel injections (Bulkamid). I agreed to move forward with this procedure. The scheduling process was extremely unprofessional. I was given only a date, not a time, and was told they would follow up. I never received proper confirmation. Then, the day before the procedure, the surgical center called me with confusing information about a different procedure--one that I never discussed or consented to with the doctor. Concerned, I called the office and asked to speak directly with Dr. Ofer to clarify what was happening. I was told the only way to speak with him was to schedule a telehealth appointment that I would be charged for. At that point, it felt like a money grab rather than patient care. Due to the lack of communication, disorganization, and pressure to pay just to get answers, I lost trust and decided not to proceed. They lost me as a patient. I would strongly advise others to stay away and look for a provider who prioritizes clear communication, patient safety, and care over billing

And even worse when you are getting your blood drawn because it's right next to their room. They joke about "getting more money" and the worst part of that statement is that they don't cater to their patients AS THEY SHOULD. Care quality is terrible. They call with my next steps when it's too late and the pharmacy is closed. This experience is time sensitive and they don't take that seriously. Waiting time alone is about 2 hours. Even after getting my entire plan on the first visit, they asked me for my plan day before egg retrieval. Their system doesn't work and it's disappointing, considering this is a FERTILITY clinic and that's not something people should take as a joke. The Doctor is funny. But that's all the good that I've gathered from my experience here.

He promised I would only be seen by him for any procedures at my request. From that day forward I never saw his face. They push the PRP because insurance doesn't cover it & the care is TERRIBLE. I wish I looked at the reviews more closely because afterwards there were tons with all the same feedback - (which are now gone) they def. Buy their positive reviews and also pay for them to have all the negative reviews removed... it's a real thing.... Do not be fooled by all their promises... when it comes to something of this nature that is something so sensitive- no one should have to go through dealing with this place. Huge waste of precious time. Shame on them!

The warm welcome meant a lot when going through my first round of IVF. I had completed 4 rounds of IUI with another fertility specialist and was feeling down about my chances of ever getting pregnant. I can honestly say that YFC's positivity and professionalism was critical to my success. After 1 round of IVF I am now 10 weeks pregnant! The Westport facility provides patients' access to Yale medical care closer to home, yet I still benefited from the renowned embryology lab at the Yale Fertility Center in New Haven. The Westport office is beautiful and I never have to wait long to be seen. I would not waste any time in setting up an appointment if you are having fertility issues. We've had plenty of first time parent concerns and he's tackled them all super timely and with a way of explaining things that calms us and gives us more confidence every time. And we were amazed with Katie, the Lactation Consultant. she has decades of experience, she CHANGED our world!! we brought in our 5 day old baby and she completely turned me around with her knowledge base. I brought him in with me and nursed him with her help so that she could observe. She reframed so much of what the hospital told me generically and tailored it to me and our son based on how and what she saw. and she was spot on! he was happier, less frustrated and trusted me to read his cues correctly and get what he needed. it was an instant fix, I can't get enough of her!! She makes herself available by phone too if tou can't make it to her in person. She and Dr. Stephen are in this with you every step, honestly we couldn't have asked for more caring human beings to help guide us.
