Doli - Not sure but it's the Indian version of a blooming onion.

It included rice and bread, of which, the butter bread was the favorite. The chicken tikka and the lamb samosas were other favorites. We are pleasantly full. It was worth ghe €37 per person to try the full menu of the day. The service was excellent. Friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The ambiance is relaxing. Great music, not too loud; spacious; relaxing lighting; clean restroom.

The owners have recently renovated the restaurant giving it a classy, elegant vibe with a tall ceiling and gilded interior. The food was wonderful! There were four of us and we virtually shared everything we ordered. We had the basmati rice, garlic naan, plain naan, buttered naan, buttered chicken, chicken bhuna, and so much more. We even had this one dish that is an Indian take on what I can only describe as a blooming onion (sorry for the raw description). With the different sauces they provide, this onion thing left you wanting more. The chicken bhuna had a spicy kick (for Spain), and if you need, you can make it spicier. They even offered a menu of the day, which is around 30€ but it comes with three courses and each course is a sample of different dishes (not a bad idea if you want to try a little of everything). The place is clean and the staff is helpful. They speak English and Spanish so there's no worry there. The wait for a table and our food was relatively nonexistent. All in all, this is a delicious place with a great menu and fantastic service. Go check it out. Enjoy!

They probably prefer it that way because the quiet vibe appeared to be part of the ambiance they're seeking here. We just found it by chance on Google Maps as an alternative to the beef-heavy eateries in the neighborhood. We just felt a need to eat healthier. The menu was small and appetizing, and we treated ourselves to two 3,5€ glasses of Zafra Blanco, a crisp Spanish white wine that freshened our palates. We started our meal with a complimentary helping of a "creamy" beetroot dip accompanied by lightly crisped pita chips (Photo 7). Next came the 12€ Spinach and "Parmesan" Croquettes, six lightly fried, falafel-like spheres drizzled with cashew nut mayo (Photo 8). They provided the ideal bites. Jamie went for their signature 15€ Moroccan Bowl with corn couscous, beetroot falafel, sweet potato, spinach, cherries, pickled cucumber, tomato, and fresh dates drizzled with mint yogurt sauce (Photo 6). It was quite a cornucopia of flavors that meshed quite well together with the falafels the particular standout. I decided to go for the 8€ Brochette of "Chicken" with chunks of zucchini and onion and satay sauce over a bed of sweet potato noodles (Photo 9). I'm not sure what the "chicken" was, but the flavor and texture was surprisingly spot-on. At the same time, I'm glad I limited myself to one skewer because I wanted to save room for dessert and the 4€ bottle of sparkling Green Apple Cider (Photo 4). Jamie and I settled on the delightful 6,5€ Tiramisu Cake dusted with Cocoa and swirled with Toffee (Photo 10). We finished our meal with 2€ cups of Cortado with the right amount of warm, steamed milk (Photo 5). Given that I was in town for a conference, I decided, To revisit them. First look, I was able to notice that the decor had received an update, the wall of turbans, the chairs etc all looked new and upgraded. We met our friendly host Koshy from Kerala, who had amazing Spanish, Hindi and Malayalam skills, which was nice and made us feel at home. On looking at the menu, found that The food items had also received a super update. We tried out the papdi chaat, was was wholesome and tasty. In the main course we picked the Paneer Tikka Masala [ even though it wasn't on the menu they made it for us ] and Veg Kofta. Both were made spicy on our request. The Peshawari Naan was refreshing and super tasty that went well with the spicy dishes, and we had sliced chili laden on the garlic naan as well. Overall all the dishes were super tasty, and very Well presented. Again with a cozy smile from Koshy !! The sparkler turned out to be the dessert which was Kulfi in a gaseous smoke and really mind blowing presentation. On eating it was super creamy and satisfying, just the way its Meant to be, nutty, creamy and heavenly. Overall, coming back to Swagath was a "Welcome [which is the literal meaning of the word Swagath]" and "Cozy host Koshy" made all the difference !
