The owner is the rudest person I have ever met in my life. He treats his staff like excuse the word slaves. He belittled them in front of customers. He walks around like he doesn't have to answer to anyone. The food is mediocre. The best food is breakfast. what can you do to eggs and toast and bacon but the rest of the food thrown in the fryer there's nothing cooked their homemade And if you even question the quality of something that you've got which I did he yells at you so I wouldn't go there again if it was free plenty of other places to eat so do yourself a favor, especially if you were senior citizen, which I am very rude to senior citizens very rude. 2 stars because the owners are nice but service is mediocre just like the food. It's this way with all of the local restaurants. There's no originality. This place nelis, ditas just all mom n pop places have the same menus just different names for some dishes. I'm pretty sure most of the food is microwaved. Good food, quick service, prices are so nice. We always do take out so no clue what the place looks like or how dine in service but the guy in the phone is super friendly and our orders are always perfect. Don't plan on hanging around long when you eat at Sophia's. We had a party of 4. 2 of them we hadn't seen for a year. We did show up a bit early so we waited for about 15 min. Before the first of the two showed up then 15 min. More until the second person showed up. We ordered right away and the food came rather quickly. The owner/manager had one of our party move to the side to get someone through. (The tables were set up in such a way that it was close quarters) We ate and visited (we only got water that the waitress did refill once) once we were finished we kept getting the look of "okay you can leave now" even though there were plenty of tables open and they didn't need our table. The waitresses and the owner/manager were all looking at us as if to move us along. After the refill of water during our meal the water was cut off, again, to move us along. Now for the food. I got a Mexican omelet with toast and hash browns. The hash browns were good the toast was good but the omelet was fair at best. It was small and had very little meat or other filling in it (it was supposed to have tomatoes and onions in it.) I probably won't be back. read more

One of my favorite restaurants when I'm craving comfort foods. The place is always super clean, the food is amazing, and the staff is super friendly. Its a true and true family restaurant and you can tell the owners put their heart and soul into the place. Been coming to Sophia's for years. Always amazing every time we come, and we go often. Food is always exquisite. I always get the Steak and Eggs, and it is ALWAYS cooked to my preferred order. Wait staff is always friendly, and they treat us like their own family. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! Nothing is ever dirty. No dirty silverware, tables, chairs or floor. Even though I get steak and eggs, i sample food off of my Girlfriend and what she gets is usually great! Friday fish fry is delicious! I'm not usually a wrap, or Giro person, but they still taste good! The bread you get before your meal, is always soft goes down well! Have had samples of soup from Girlfriend and definitely tastes great! I'll venture onto different foods when I go back next time. But their steak and eggs are beyond words, I just gobble it up! Took the grand kids and babies for breakfast great service and the food was out standing

My 18 year old son and I had breakfast at Sophia's this morning. Was seated and served quickly. Food was good to very good. Not excellent. He had two pancakes, I had a meat lover's special and we both had pop. Cost before tip was $12. read more

All in all it's a family restaurant, just what you'd expect from one. The service is really what makes Sophia's special. The owners are always there, at least one of them is, anyways, and they're really nice guys. I suggest you get breakfast there, anytime of day. The skillets are great. read more

I am not a regular of Sophia's but the food is always good and so is the service. My mom and dad love this place and the owners always recognize them when they come in. I went there last on 12/29/19 with a large group of our family and we were given the private room all to ourselves. The food was good, the waitress was outstanding! We just went for the first time this weekend. I had the breakfast sandwich, fried egg, sausage on an English muffin. Hmmm, seems simple, right?? Oh my! It was 2 eggs, 2 large pieces of sausage and the sausage had excellent flavor. My boyfriend had biscuits & gravy, we both had hash browns. He sais his biscuits & gravy were very good. Stopped in for dinner as we were passing through town - - - big mistake. I ordered the chicken dinner after asking for their recommendation. The lettuce salad was plain, the corn was overcooked, the chicken was dry, and I was sorry I put a forkful of the chicken dressing in my mouth. I've been here twice on the recommendation from a friend. I've been here once for dinner and once for breakfast. The dinner was good - I had a gyro. The soup here is amazing, so I suggest you order it with your meal regardless of what else you are eating. The breakfast was just meh. I felt like it lacked a certain freshness to it. My husband and I eat there at least once a week. They have great home cooked meals and homemade soups. Really friendly staff and low prices.

Great fish fry!! You can get 1, 2 or 3 piece dinner.. They have baked fish too and it's delicious! Also, the smokey mountain chicken is amazing, service is great, price is right, definitely enjoy going here.. Have had breakfast and lunch too, skillets, club sandwiches and dinners come with dessert.. we go about twice a month and look forward to it! read more

Great food, service, and budget friendly. Have not yet been unhappy with this restaurant. A very pleasant atmosphere.

Went in for breakfast and had the Greek omelette. The importer was fluffy and loaded with feta (had to pay extra) and gyro meat. Had the home fries, which were crispy on top and rue bread on the side. Very happy with my meal. The waitress was friendly and filled me coffee several times.
