He stated that he ran out of time but would send the quote on August 6. As of today, October 8, we have not received a quote or a return call, email, or text message from anyone in the company. I was very disappointed that they did to have the courtesy send us a quote or even follow-up with a phone call or text. The company was hired to construct a 4' by 16' external staircase with a 4' by 4' platform half…read moreway. For some reason, they made the stairs only 3' wide and placed the railings on the sides rather then on the steps. This resulted in the railing height being below code and the top flight at an odd angle. They placed an arbitrary post in the middle of the top stairs to try to compensate for this error. The stairs look very wonky. The inappropriate height can result in someone going over the side. There was $500 in excess vinyl railings (we purchased the materials) that could have been returned for a refund but they harvested a few connecting pieces from the boxes making it impossible to get a refund. When asked why they didn't simply purchase the connecting pieces separately, they stated it would have taken a few days. Apparently, they felt it was more important to complete the job a day or two early at our expense. Do not hire them to do any work other then concrete.

I originally hired Inside Out Home Services to put in a french drain in my side yard. Shaun Anderson and Gunnar Yates who own and operate Inside Out Home Services not only put in the French drain I requested but they went above and beyond to help fix the other issues our home and yard were having. They took extra time from their schedule to come back and pour a new patio, fix the water issues around our basement/garage area and put down a new walkway to match the new patio that they fixed and our yard has never looked more beautiful. We had a brand new drain put in, a patio and walkway dug out and redone and it still cost us less than the last two contractors we hired over the last 3yrs.
