On January 1st, 2023, I discovered that an oak had split in half at the base of the trunk on the hill below my place. It narrowly missed crushing my deck. The left half was still standing and unstable. I was concerned that it would fall on my mobile home. The weather forecast was for extreme storm conditions that night, strong winds and lots of rain, so I contacted Jack. He came over on his own and removed the upper branches and leaves, somewhat stabilizing the remaining portion of the tree. On February 14th he and his assistant came over and cut down the remainder of the tree. He said it was still too unstable to remain standing. Jack, the owner, and his buddy came out and did an awesome job in our back yard. They were fast and they picked up everything. Even my neighbor was really happy, and she had been worried that the tree that bordered her yard would be a real problem. Jack is THE MAN. My neighbor recommended him when my tree fell over a few years ago -- he helped remove it for free... what a great guy. More recently, my girlfriend's family had a huge fallen limb on their property (near Pleasure Point). Jack did an amazing job at trimming our 6 giant redwoods up 50-80 feet. He went up and down the trees like it was no big deal. The whole thing took less than half the time quoted by two other tree work companies. The other guys will try to rip you off. Jack is the man to go to for tree work. After completing the job he offered to take care of a few other things for free, since he finished so fast.
