Basic weed pulling and weed whacking. This year Yovani suggested I add 1-2 more people to the crew. I went ahead and took his advice and added 1 more person. 5 people, 4 hours, $50.00 per hour, $1,000.00 Total. When Yovani was done I went to inspect the usual work. Only 45% complete. When confronted with why the routine job was not completed as usual especially with 1 extra crew member his response was "it's a lot of work." I was clearly scammed. We are 100% happy customers (-: We requested for all of our different palm trees, box shrubs, and podocarpus hedge to be trimmed back (all if not most were at least 2-3 stories tall). The crew was on time, extremely efficicent and communicative. Everyone was very mindful of our neighbors fence, property, roof line and powerlines. Everyone had PPE on and were so incredibly safe when scaling the trees and hedges. Clean up was very thorough. Majority of our fronds and hedge were processed by the chipper and hauled. Sam and his team came to remove 10 invasive Camphor trees from our backyard. The trees had been…read moredropping poisonous leaf/berry litter and killing the plants underneath. Despite being reluctant to cut them down/lose shade we finally had enough and secured several quotes to remove them. Sam's team came in with a super reasonable quote, several hundred dollars less than most of the others. Will's tree care also a local, 2nd gen family owned San Martin based team, equipped with all required professional licenses, safety equipment, bonding etc. Sam was able to fit us in within about 10 days and his team knocked out the job in less than 6 hours. They removed all the trees, ground the stumps, cleaned the litter completely from our house and our neighbor's, and smoothed out/refilled the holes where the trunks had been. Next up, Sam is going to help our friend at his downtown commercial property to manage some complex root/limb removal. Sam also gave us a great referral for a local nursery, Greenfield Nursery in San Martin which carries a large array of fruit trees and low prices.
