It is a very small place and you can expect to wait if you come at the peak hours. The food and service were absolutely amazing! My husband and I split the chicken marsala but that was after we gorged ourselves on the amazing garlic knots and even ordered an additional order! Their wine selection is very good. Visited Sorelle's on a recommendation from a friend, and it lives up to the hype! The restaurant is small and cozy, and be prepared to wait for a table. We arrived at 6, and were told it would be a 30 minute wait, but after less than 15 minutes we were seated! We ordered the garlic knots, lasagna, chicken scarpariello, and the tiramisu. Ok, been buying your pizza for many years and think its the best in the area. Ordered two pies tonight and I have to say they both were very doughy and bread like. Crust looked different and bottom was thicker than normal. If changing the dough recipe please go back. Tonight was my worst experience with take out pizza unfortunately. read more

This is the only Italian in middle Tennessee we'll eat out. If we aren't making it ourselves at home this is the place. The sauce is perfect, you taste the ingredients, not garlic. This is hands down the best Italian food you'll find within a 50-mile radius. I ordered the Stromboli, and the portion was so generous it could easily be shared between two people. The side of meatballs was equally impressive--hearty, flavorful, and plentiful. The service was exceptional. Maggie & Maddie were sweet & helpful. If you're visiting with a larger group, I definitely recommend making a reservation. We came in as a party of nine, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Hands down the best Italian food I've found around here! This little family-owned restaurant is such a gem. It's tiny, so there's usually a wait, but you can often get on the waitlist ahead of time online which helps. Totally worth it though! The penne alla vodka is the star of the show in my opinion, truly the best vodka sauce I've ever had!! My family loves it so much that even when they order something like chicken parmesan, they ask for it with the vodka sauce. I didn't have dessert this time, but their desserts are usually amazing and definitely worth saving room for. The staff is always the sweetest and gives you that true small-town, welcoming feel. First visit to this quaint place. Got there at 3:30p and place was already packed and had a waiting list. They do have an upstairs bar area to wait in but it doesn't open til 4p. Service was very good. Friendly, attentive.the food was good. I had higher hopes after reading reviews, but maybe we ordered the wrong items. I'll try the pizza next time as it looked very good, or a different pasta. Make not there is no courtesy bread u til AFTER 4p. This is a gem of a family restaurant that may seem to be out in the middle of nowhere, but that is well worth a visit. The service was excellent, warm, and friendly. The Penne Ala Vodka was amazing! So flavorful! I'm going to have trouble ordering anything different in the future. The Baked Ziti was good but not great. The pizza was good, but huge! For the regular pizzas there is only one size, which is 18 inches. They have a gluten-free pizza (smaller at 12 inches) that is pretty good. They also have gluten-free pasta, which was almost indistinguishable from the regular pasta. It is great that they have some gluten-free options, especially being an Italian restaurant where bread and pasta dominate. The restaurant is cozy and comfortable, and everything was clean. Overall a great experience. We'll definitely be back, especially because I can't resist the Penne Ala Vodka! read more

It's a family-owned establishment, with a comfortable/casual environment and consistently friendly, attentive service. I have truly never been disappointed. The food was delish! We started with the garlic rolls and Caesar salad both were excellent. We also ordered a pizza to share the crust was so fresh and delicious and not too thick. We also ordered Chicken Parmesan and an order of Chicken Piccata excellent as well. We took quite a bit home and enjoyed another hearty meal as the portions are not huge but sufficient. The prices are reasonable, the waitress was pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere is nice. I can't wait to go back. It's an hour from our home but was great. On our first trip I had to try the calamari, having lived on the Mediterranean, I try anywhere they say they have fresh fried calamari. The first visit it was cooked perfectly. Second visit- over cooked. (It doesn't take much to over cook it unfortunately- and I'll be giving it another try!) We have tried their pizza two times. Next time we will return to the stromboli. (I save the butter garlic mixture from the garlic knots for my pizza bones.) Their marinera sauce is tasty- I order a side with the garlic knots. Such a mixed bag. The food was incredible. Everything we had was delicious. Our server Heather was fantastic. But as an old restaurant guy, the host staff...and whoever answers the phone...needs major hospitality training. Made us feel like pariahs because we had the nerve to want to eat there. It's a shame because the food is 10/10. But I always thought small businesses wanted paying customers. Made us feel like we were intruding on their private clubhouse. And they had twice as much staff in the house as they did diners. Wish it hadn't happened because this would be a favorite spot otherwise. Still giving them 4 stars because the food is great (5+). Would give them another shot at some point...everybody has bad nights...but it will be a while. read more

There's not another mom and pop Italian place in town thats as good (especially compared to all the chain Italian restaurants). The pizza's are all once size and for 2 adults and a child we always take home leftovers (their cold pizza for breakfast is where it's at). We like the meat lovers. The salad house Italian dressing is really good! I recommend it. The meatballs give homemade vibes and my family always orders them. The garlic knots are 10/10 - probably because they're sitting in a pool of butter. If a pool of butter isn't for you don't get these. The seating can get tight, and they get very busy. We bought a house in Chapel Hill specifically in Unionville last February and have branched out in the area and have decided to start trying different restaurants and businesses in the area. We are definitely not out of state individuals as both of us were born in middle Tennessee and have experienced both big and small town restaurants and know that the quality can be 0 to 100 and anywhere in between but for us sorelles he is definitely at the 100 mark my girlfriend, and I love to go there as often as we can the fact that it's a small restaurant with such good food and good service makes us happy to give them our business which cannot be said for several other businesses we have visited in the middle Tennessee area that call themselves restaurants. This place is always clean as a good atmosphere and everyone that I have seen that works there has always been in a good mood and has given us amazing service. I personally tip specifically based on service to me and the people I'm with which mainly covers how quickly I get my food how often I'm asked about refills and how nice they are to me while doing it most restaurants I have been to fall short and I have no problem tipping next to nothing for bad service. This restaurant received the biggest tip that I have ever given because of how fantastic the surfaces not to mention the food. Hopefully this place gets all the business that I can from the local community and stays a nice hole in the wall restaurant that isn't too busy on the weekends or the weekdays. read more

Love, love, LOVE this place for amazing Italian food. Every time we come here, the food is OUTSTANDING. It's a family-owned restaurant and you can tell that everything is consistently good. I've had several dishes here and each one was so tasty. The sisters that own this restaurant really take pride in it because they also make sure that service for their guests is top notch. When we come in, we're always recognized and greeted as if we were part of their family. I love the new addition to their waiting area inside and the front porch is always a fun place to wait. I can tell you, an hour wait if you even have that is VERY WELL WORTH IT. The place is so cute and cozy! Unfortunately I was disappointed with the special entree pork medallions, which were served with a 5 inch blond hair on top, and their subsequent lack of service recovery. The owner returned to the table with the plate stating something about me possibly being mistaken which I assured her all three of us saw the hair. My entree was redone however it was dry and served with an apple chutney that was all juice which my fries were swimming in. I really enjoyed this place. The vibe of the restaurant is really relaxing. We came in on a Saturday afternoon it was busy but not too busy. We got the bread service and the freshly baked bread was perfect. It was crunchy and soft. The only thing I didn't like was how little balsamic they put in the olive oil. It was like 3 drops of it. That's why I didn't give 5 stars. The chicken parm was tasty I wish it was a little crispier but the flavor was nice and the spaghetti was good. The Chicken masala was tasty.
