I had a wonderful experience working with Kaia and designing my husband's 50th birthday celebration. Juggling all the different pieces was difficult for me from afar, and Kaia was able to streamline and simplify, ask questions to clarify, and was clearly very strong at coordinating a lot of moving pieces. We wired a slack guitarist, Paul, who was so sweet and totally knowledgeable around the history of music on the islands which my husband and guests loved. While he claimed to be back ground music which could be totally fine for another party, we so enjoyed giving him our attention as it was just so pleasant while we enjoyed our cocktails and settled into the groove of the night (We hired White Ginger for catering, also recommended!) The one fire dancer, 2 drummers and 2 dancers performances went off without a glitch, and the performers were gratefully adaptable to the space, as the rain and winds were a bit tough, so they had to move creatively within the space, which they did, with grandeur and integrity. I was so pleased, and have every reason to put my fingers together for another manifestation for friends and family! We were an intimate group of 6 adults and 1 fire dancing loving child, and it was all just right (even if we wished others were lucky enough to be in attendance - they would have been a great combo for a 20 person or more party easily!) read more

We hired Soul Fire Productions to help celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary with a solo ukulele player. Soul Fire supplied us with the most amazing musician (Tommy). Our extended family of ten enjoyed Tommy's music on the Lanai while a private chef prepared dinner. The music made the evening magical. Tommy played traditional Hawaiian music, pop music, folk music, and even children's music for our younger family members. We danced, laughed, and cried during our one hour of fantastic acoustic vocals and ukulele strumming. Kaia was helpful and communicative throughout the process. Although I never got to meet Kaia in person, she worked with me closely to pre play the entertainment for our Wedding and customize the music and event the costumes to match our wedding colors! Soul Fire performers really brought our Mardi Gras fundraiser to a higher level than the previous year. The performers were top-notch, professional, and a lot of fun! We had the Venetian rovers, stilts walker, table dress lady, silk fan dancers, and an aerialist. Our guests had no idea we would have such spectacular performers and we are still receiving compliments on the evening, with Soul Fire performers being a highlight. My husband and I were married on the 13th of May, 2017, at the gorgeous Waimea Plantation Cottages on Kauai's west side. We were joined by 150 of our closest island friends and numerous friends and family visiting from the mainland. The ceremony, buffet-style dinner, and live music went off without a hitch. At about 9:00pm, the band took a scheduled break, and all eyes turned towards the ocean. Four stunningly beautiful women adorned in costumes and full makeup emerged from a hidden tent area and lit up the evening like no one else could. The show was beyond anything we could possibly have imagined. This is not your back-yard fire dancing show. These women bring the fiercest of talent to all aspects of the show. From the impeccably timed choreography woven into the rhythmic, anticipation-laden music selection to the insanely awesome (albeit dangerous!) props used (when's the last time you spinned a WHEEL OF FIRE BY YOUR FACE?) ... these women know how to put on a five-star performance, all the while making it look effortless and gracefully sensual. I worked with Skylar for my dear friend's 50th Birthday party in Kauai. Skylar was a pure joy to do business with. Professional, fun, and timely.
