I came across Soul Imagez on Instagram and instantly wanted to get a tattoo from them. Their fine-line work is impeccable. I messaged them to get pricing and availability. It took several days for them to respond, which is fine as I know they're busy. I conversed with someone who booked an appointment for my friend and I with Kay. When arriving at the appointment, we waited a little while, but that's normal. When Kay finished with her client she was surprised to see that she had an appointment. But nonetheless, she rolled with the punches and tattooed both my friend and I. Kay's work is impeccable. Her artistry is amazing.. I have two tattoos that I wanted to get enhanced and they said they couldn't do it and they're actually very easy tattoos so I was very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place. I've been looking for a place to do my fine line tattoo ideas & one of my coworkers told me about this place. I checked out their work on IG & knew I found THE PLACE! I messaged them on IG & gave them details of exactly what I wanted & which artist. Booking an appointment was fairly easy & straightforward. A deposit is required but that's a given with many places. First little piece I had done was an outline of my dog who recently passed & I requested for Lila. She did a great job. Simple but she was able to really get his head shape. She was super nice too. Then I started to think of a the floral piece I've been wanting. Messaged them on IG again. We went back & forth with details. Since the piece I wanted was a little bigger, they recommended a few of their other artists. You can see each artist's work on their IG so I went through each of their highlights. It was a tough decision bc all their artists are so good but it came down to the style I wanted. I chose Nic & he exceeded my vision for this tattoo. He was so patient with me & really listened to what I wanted. I was worried the piece was going to look too busy bc of all the different flowers I wanted but he made it flow so well. He also made it to if I wanted to add more later (which I more than likely will) it's easy to do so. Was quoted 4 hrs but took almost 6 & I didn't mind. I didn't want to rush art. Pricing was fair for the work they provided. I always say cheap things aren't good & good things aren't cheap. A tattoo is going to be on me for the rest of my life. I wanted to make sure it was going to be executed well. The vibes in the studio is so welcoming too. While I was sitting in front, all I hear was laughing. Made me feel comfortable. Upon arriving at opening there were several workers and they were all so helpful and nice. They are transparent with their prices online and professional. So happy I came here for my first tattoo! I came in as a walk in last Saturday and was really pleased with the process. The shop opens at 10, but I got there around 9:30. When they opened the doors around 9:45, I'd say there was about 7 of us in line. Once they have you checked in, they'll call you up to work on your font selection (it's helpful if you already have styles in mind!) or image drawing. I was happy to see they had the font I wanted already in their system! I ended up being tattooed by Jocelyn and I was really happy to be paired with her! She was easy to talk to and my tattoo was finished in about 20 minutes. I was really happy with the results and it is healing well so far. My experience at Soul Imagez had its ups and downs. Initially, I was excited to book an appointment with a specific artist after researching their work, for a tattoo I had been planning for a month. However, just a few days before my appointment, I was informed that the artist wouldn't be available and that I'd have to see someone else. While the substitute artist did a decent job, I can't say I'm entirely satisfied with the outcome. Due to the last-minute change, I didn't have the chance to discuss the design in as much detail as I would have liked. As a result, there are elements of the tattoo that I wish could have been different. Effective communication and collaboration are vital in the tattooing process, and unfortunately, I felt that aspect was lacking in this situation. While I appreciate the substitute artist's effort. I do recognize that I did agree to it & now stuck with it, but felt rushed and pressured. I am disappointed with the overall experience. It is a nice facility and very clean. Though there should be a sign on the outside, because my GPS took me to the middle of the building and took a min to find it. The artists there seem to do a really good job, very impressive but disappointed in how everything went. read more

This is a family owned tattoo shop that is run by wife and husband and everyone that works here is related to one another which is awesome! I came here for a walk-in on the weekend and honestly, the service was fast. Walk-ins start at 10 am and end at 3 or until they are full. They have you check in first, tell them what you want and then they tell you how long the wait is and to stay close, perhaps grab coffee. I arrived at 10:10am and surprisingly the wait was going to be 45-1hour. but they have 6 tattoo artists working so it goes by fast. My wait ended up being only 50 minutes. You get a text to let you know that you're next and to let them know you're here. When you go inside, there is someone who will ask for your ID, what tattoo you want, give you an estimate, and then have you take a seat. My tattoo artist was Melanie and she was the best. I wanted a tattoo of my mom's handwriting on my arm and she made sure to make my mom's writing was readable and not too small. The tattoo process was fast and I loved how it was easy to talk to Melanie. Melanie is the best for fine line tattoos may I add. I would definitely come back again for another tattoo that is perhaps not a walk in. read more

I did one of their walk-in appointments yesterday (Saturday) and arrived at 10:15am to place my name for same day appointment. Tip: for walk-ins arrive as early as 9:30 if not probably earlier. They were already booked out for the day when I got there at 10:15am. I was given a 4 hour wait time which worked out for me since I had a lot of errands to do. I requested for Joshua which I was told might make my wait time longer which I was ok with. I got a text from them at 1:30pm I arrived at the shop at 2pm. I did call them because I was about 20 mins away which they were very accommodating with. When I arrived, we started working on my design. I chose one of their designs and went from there. They had to redraw the design I wanted because the flowers we're to small and they we're worried it wasn't going to look like the photo. With that being said, it took a good hour or so to redraw my design. So the process was this: you discuss your design idea at the front desk, they make sure that the design is doable and if everything works out, they print your design. They give you a quote, you sign their waiver then they set you up by placing your tattoo then you meet with your artist who will then work on your tattoo. Unfortunately, I couldn't have Joshua do my tattoo cause he was already booked our for the day which was a bummer for me but everything worked out. They had Jocelyn work on my tattoo and honestly I couldn't be any happier with the results. First of Jocelyn was very light handed, and I really love the little details of my tattoo. She was able to to nail the straight lines and my flowers. All in all I loved the final result. From 10:15am I finished at almost 5pm. If you do their walk in please keep in mind you may have to wait for quite some time. Plan out your day accordingly. Also, they are CASH only. Idk if they allow zelle or any other payments but everywhere on their Instagram and the shop it says CASH only. I will definitely be back and hopefully I can schedule an appt with Joshua for my retouch. read more

I came into Soul Imagez as a walk-in on the one year anniversary of losing my sweet Grandma. I wanted a marigold to symbolize her birth. The girl at the front desk (sadly I didn't catch her name) pulled up a pre-made design and we customized it slightly. Once confirmed, I was assigned to Kay as my artist. Kay is beyond talented and so easy to work with! I didn't love my first placement. But she very happily did a second placement, which she absolutely nailed. She made me feel comfortable to speak up and was very supportive. The entire appointment she was communicative, professional, and wanted me to be happy with every detail. Not to mention, our conversation flowed the whole time and it felt like I was hanging out with a friend. :) I went back 30 days later for a touch up, which was free. The tattoo healed beautifully, just a few fine lines lightened up. I made an appointment with Kay and I was in and out within less than 20 minutes. Overall, I love my tattoo and Kay was the perfect artist for the job.
