Apologies for not getting her name right, but the woman who seemed to be in charge was incredible. She was helpful, patient, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. My mom had an issue with her login, and the staff stayed attentive until everything was fully resolved. During the ride, they checked in on my mom a few times to make sure she was comfortable and had what she needed. That kind of care and personality is what makes a workout environment feel safe and inviting for people from all walks of life.

I've had a few classes here now over the last couple of weeks and I love it. At first I was a little confused about setting up my bike on my own and still getting used to the shoes lol but the front desk was super helpful. The space is always clean from the bathroom to the studio which I really appreciate. One day it was super hot and steamy inside and I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a hot ride class or just the weather but I guess I burned more calories that day. It was just a bit uncomfortable. So far I've liked all the coaches. The one I remember is Arianna she plays good music and really sweet and encouraging. They're all welcoming and I love that they don't mind if you just want to ride at your own pace. I usually come right after CrossFit so sometimes I skip the dancing or arm movements and just focus on endurance and they totally support that. Overall I've been having a great experience. The classes are fun the staff is friendly and I always leave feeling accomplished. Love it.

I love SoulCycle! I've taken a couple of classes here at the Walnut Creek location and I always have a blast! If you've never been to SoulCycle before imagine a cycling class that's mixed with being at a nightclub haha! It's dark in the room and they play a lot of great music! I first heard about SoulCycle from the movie "I Feel Pretty" with Amy Schumer and it's one of my favorites! I love the feeling of just letting loose on the bike. I promise I'm the worst one in class but I still have a lot of fun haha. The facilities are really nice and kept clean. The lockers even have an outlet so you can charge your phone! how cool! The staff is also really nice and welcoming! Shoutout to Allie! She's an awesome instructor and it's fun to attend her class! I have a gym membership in town but I enjoy the SoulCycle spin class a lot more! Come check out one of their classes!

Such a sense of community. A really fun way to work out. They have towels on each bike and extras by the instructor. Towels in the bathrooms, good shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash and lotion! Razors, hair ties and bobby pins are all supplied as well as a vanity to get ready after class! Lockers are available and some are decorated with fun facts about the staff! Unlike any other gym in the area!

Day 1 , getting back into it.

"What--I Missed the Grand Opening?"…read more Well I walked into this place, not exactly knowing what it was all about. They've just been open a week or so and they already have 20 classes per week. I had the opportunity to chat with the owner as well as one of the instructors. They're really nice people and can help you set up your workouts. They were kind enough to give me a tour of the whole facility, and explain how the classes work. They have a have a brand new cycling room with brand new cycles. Naturally, they are completely adjustable, and you clip yourself in. The sequence for each cycling classe is the same--that is, you can be confident that your workout will be similar, no matter who the instructor is. Naturally, the instructors get the riding music going to keep you all motivated! To my astonishment, there are no contracts here! It is $125 per month, for as many workouts as you can handle. What a pleasant surprise to not have a contract! Naturally, the classes are open to either men or women. A special note: During the class, you're not competing against anyone else--you're just concentrating on doing your own work out. You clip in and the instructor gets you off on your ride! It is deliberately a dim environment during the ride; that way you can concentrate on your own workout. They have a towel at each station, and light weights, because they are also going to do some upper body exercise. That makes for a nice complete workout. I should also mention that they have a kids area right off the main entryway. The charge is $6 per child. But you can buy a set of 10 which brings it down to $5. Believe it or not, there is no age limit whatsoever on the child. You can bring in anyone. (Well maybe not Grandma.) I had a chance to talk with the owner of StarCycle, and she explained they are running a promotion for one free trial class. I'm signing up today! I really enjoyed visiting this facility and getting to know more about starcycle. Classy, friendly people.

It's been a hot minute since I attended a spin class. I discovered this place recently and wanted…read moreto check it out. I had Danica as the instructor and she was bubbly high energy throughout the whole class. Her music is hip-hop/club which is my cup of tea (though if I wanted to be nitpicky I wish there were newer songs on the playlist). She's definitely a fan of sprints and jump choreography lol. Choreography in this class in general was fairly straightforward; for beginners there is enough repetition to eventually get a handle of it. The class is pretty much 90% in the dark so no need to stress if you're lagging behind any pro spinners around you. There is no fitness statistics shown at the end of class (my preference, but I know there are people who want to be competitive). Music is as loud as the music at a dance club (my preference as well, but could be too much for some people). Maybe it's because I took a 5:45 PM weekday class but every person who attended the class skedaddled out of the studio quickly once class ended; at other spin studios I usually see at least a couple people linger and chat with the instructor for a few minutes. I wanted to thank Danica for the class but she was nowhere to be found once I was about ready to leave lol. Maybe it's just not how things work around here. Overall I enjoyed the class. Definitely recommend if you're curious on taking a spin class. It's $15 for the first class. Parking wasn't hard to find (it is located in the midtown-y part of Danville but there are a few parking spots right at the entrance of the studio and there is a whole public parking lot across the street from it).

The classes are a really great way to get a good workout in without having to plan it yourself. And taking classes over a long period of time absolutely will get you seeing positive results in your physical fitness. Reform Pilates has been my favorite so far. I can't say enough good things about Amy's class. She puts on the most challenging class by far, and I mean that in the best way. She is a gifted instructor and clearly knows what she is doing. she is able to push everyone in her classes to achieve their personal best and is there to provide personal instruction and correction as needed. Hello, I'm reaching…read moreout because I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I received today at Club Studio Walnut Creek. I had booked a class for today and had only recently added it to my schedule. Unfortunately, one of my staff members had an emergency and had to leave, which unexpectedly changed my plans and made it impossible for me to attend. I called the club to explain the situation and simply asked if they would make a one-time courtesy exception and waive the $10 cancellation fee. I completely understand that cancellation policies exist, but given the circumstances--and the fact that I had just booked the class--I felt that a one-time courtesy waiver was a very reasonable request. What was especially disappointing was that the person I spoke with didn't even make an effort to ask a manager or see if anything could be done. At this point, it really isn't about the $10. It's about the principle and the customer service experience. I have also referred more than five people to Club Studio, and I was told that I would receive a $25 credit when someone joined. To date, I have not received those referral credits either. So when I'm a loyal customer and actively refer people to the club, I would expect a little more effort and consideration when I have an unusual situation and make a reasonable request. I'm disappointed that a simple request for a one-time courtesy exception was handled this way, especially without anyone even attempting to escalate it to a manager. I would appreciate having someone in management review this situation, including the missing referral credits, and follow up with me. Thank you.

I personally knew one of the persons who checked in while I was talking with the 3 employees at the front desk, and she didn't have a profile picture I saw it on one of the front desk computers. Out of nowhere, another guy showed up , I am not sure he was an employee or not, asking to show them my ID , so they can identify me. I said ok, I can show you my ID. I felt like I am a criminal, passing LAX security guards. When I show my Driver License , an employee took a picture of my driver license without asking me. He was only supposed to verify my identity not take a picture of my driver license! Many other members checked in at the gym , while we were talking and none of them that didn't have a picture on their account was stopped or asked for a picture, only me, I was singled out! Forma , you should train better your employees to be more polite and respectful towards the members who pay their salaries! And think twice before you hire disrespectful teenagers who think they own the company! Very disappointing experience. The way Forma Gym employees treated me appears extremely selective--some people are repeatedly singled out and bothered over minor issues, while others are given a free pass for doing the exact same things. Rules should be applied consistently and fairly to everyone, not enforced only against particular people. Professionalism means treating every customer equally and respectfully. Management should take a closer look at how these situations are handled, because this kind of inconsistent treatment creates a very unfair and uncomfortable environment.
