I first became interested in astrology about 6 months ago when a close friend and I went through my birth chart on a website. For a while I studied what seemingly legit resources I could find online, but that didn't satisfy my curiosity. This spring I took a course Brian taught on Natal Analysis (which was excellent, by the way), and it was here that the concepts really started to come together for me, and I was able to view things with a greater depth. Naturally, I applied these lessons to my own birth chart, and while I was able to delve a fair amount deeper than the surface-level portrait the astrology sites painted, I found that I only had more questions than when I'd started. I first had a reading from Brian in September of 2013; I was at a crossroads about my future in terms of education and what I should be doing. First of all, Soulrise's location on the top floor of a classic Chicago apartment building on the shores of Lake Michigan supplies the perfect setting for an astrological consultation. I literally felt like I was ascending the tower of knowledge and meeting the wizard. Brian has a very soothing presence that is further enhanced by the sound of lapping waves. I really appreciated Brian's ability to explain astrological aspects in a clear manner that balanced my tendency to switch topics rapidly. The 90 minute reading is a perfect amount of time -- I felt that any shorter would have felt rushed and any longer would have been an information overload. i don't know much about astrology, or anything about astrology really, but i heard from a few different folks that Brian gives awesome astrology readings, so i went for it and signed up for one. i can't even put into words how much this experience changed my life. i didn't know that it was possible for anyone to assess and intuit energies from the planets and alignments and other terms that i'm probably using incorrectly. i would recommend his services to anybody and everybody. i don't want to just stress the fact that he was spot on with his interpretations of my natal chart, but more so that he did it without having any knowledge of my own thoughts that i had been having already. he mentioned things that i've never said to anybody, and in doing that it's totally opened my mind up to the truths that the cosmic energies have already laid out. i would say if you have ANY desire to do this, don't act on your fears and go DO IT! read more

I was once a true skeptic of Astrology. Do you remember those little scrolls in the plastic sleeves they used to sell in the grocery store checkout lines? There was one for each zodiac sign (and when the display didn't have yours you had to go a few lines over to a different display to find it). Well... I myself don't know much about astrology, but it has always intrigued me. I am amazed at what I was able to discover and learn about myself. You can talk about whatever you want, (career, family, relationships, etc.) and you can control how in depth you want to go. So you can reveal as much or as little as you want. What you put into it, and reveal, the more you will get out of it. As another review said, he doesn't predict an exact future, but he can tell you how things may be changing, and some options that you could take. I used to think astrology was all about people making really broad statements about your life and you filling in the meaning, but there is definitely more truth behind it than people give it credit for and Brian really helped me gain clarity in my life.
