Although she brings her own OT items to our home, she also uses our gear. This gives me ideas on how to use what we already have. Overall, she provides simple and practical strategies for easy integration into everyday life. Sunayna makes the sessions seem like play, although they're really targeted at my daughter's sensory integration needs. She even involves my other daughter as a peer model and a way to ensure she doesn't feel left out of the "fun". We're very comfortable asking her questions and voicing concerns. She truly wants my daughter to thrive and focuses on true areas of need rather than stringing us along with a host of random issues that aren't really there. Additionally, if I notice what I think is an issue and mention it to her, she quickly reels me back in, when it's not a concern. Finally, we love that she's not only experienced in the private therapy area, as well as the public school system. At the end of the day, I want my daughter to feel safe and happy so that she can be open to learning how to live her best life. Sunayna provides that.

On day 1, Sunayna really built trust with my son which is hard to do. It does take him a while to become comfortable with new people. She is such a natural with kids. She did obstacle courses, games, helped my son immensely with his writing, and his social skills. I noticed a big change in his confidence after he worked with Sunayna. I highly recommend her!

Patients who need one-on-one care due to balance issues, beware! - Small staff - they have very few therapists, most are contractors & the one employee therapist I had (& liked) quit during my treatment due to disagreement with management over everything I'm listing. - Storm conduct - Issaquah had a huge fall storm with power outages. When I called to verify my appointment would happen, I was told the clinic was open. The clinic was open WITHOUT power meaning no elevator (patients like me on crutches had difficulty getting to 2nd floor for treatment), patients in wheelchairs couldn't get up to be treated). The clinic was 55 DEGREES F yet patients were being treated in a room with no power (none of the equipment requiring power could be used, therapists couldn't make notes in patient charts for several days due to the length of time to restore power, the elevator wasn't fixed for several weeks & patients were not informed of this. - Therapist DIDN'T listen - I was only recently off crutches after a major microfracture procedure & a contractor therapist pushed me so hard I had to get back on crutches for a week the day after the session. During the session in question I told her she was hurting me and yet she continued. When I came back on crutches the follow session & told her my concerns, she said, "I'm not sorry for pushing you so hard." That was DEFINITELY my LAST session at ATI!!! And apparently this contractor was leaving in a week to go to another contract. Due to my new increased pain that continued as a result of working with that therapist, my surgeon prescribed PRP injections ($1200 out of pocket) to get the pain under control. But it gets better, read my last bullet... - They didn't READ my surgeon's prescription!! My prescription called for BFR treatment. I didn't think I needed to thoroughly understand the prescription as the therapists are the professionals. It wasn't until my new therapy clinic started treating me with a blood pressure-like cuff & told me this was part of my surgeon's prescription that I realized ATI doesn't offer BFR and simply ignored that part of my prescription without informing me. If you CAN'T meet a prescription, TELL the patient. I do not like leaving poor reviews, but this sadly was a very bad experience.

My experience with this provider's billing practices has been extremely disappointing and, at…read moretimes, frankly predatory. After receiving a billing estimate that aligned with expected copays, my insurance (Premera) incorrectly processed the claim toward the deductible. Instead of proactively working with the insurer to resolve the discrepancy, the provider immediately attempted to collect the higher amount from me. When I questioned this, I was told estimates can be inaccurate, with no effort made on their end to investigate or advocate with the insurer. The structure of services also raises concerns. A straightforward pediatric psychological evaluation was broken into multiple billable components--intake interview, nurse-led evaluation, physician documentation, and results discussion--each charged separately. Additional "material fees" were applied for what appeared to be basic printed paperwork, on top of copays. Time overages during the evaluation were billed in small increments (10-15 minutes) at very high rates, quickly escalating the total cost. When the insurance error was eventually acknowledged and corrected, late fees were still applied during a period when billing had been requested to be placed on hold. Despite clear documentation, those fees were not addressed. Equally concerning was the tone of communication throughout this process--responses were often dismissive, aggressive, and focused on payment demands rather than resolution. The entire experience was unnecessarily stressful and required significant time and effort to manage. Patients should be prepared to closely monitor billing, question charges, and advocate for themselves at every step. Transparency and patient support were notably lacking here.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!…read more If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. Be prepared to be given an estimate of charges and billed way more than what was estimated. We were given an estimate for our child's Autism Diagnosis and then billed for additional things that were NEVER even mentioned. I called multiple times prior to our appointment to really understand what we would be charged and billed for and what we were billed for was DRASTICALLY different than what we were told before the appointment. WHATEVER YOU DO - DO NOT PUT A CREDIT CARD ON FILE! THEY WILL CONTINUE TO RANDOMLY CHARGE YOU FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES THAT YOU MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE ACTUALLY RECEIVED. Go somewhere else even if it is a longer wait for services. The headache from dealing with this company is absolutely NOT worth it!

Out of a sense of obligation to my daughter, I reached out to Amy Svensson, who handled my cynical intake questions and comments like a champ. I appreciated Amy handling the intake process, as we were able to preserve objectivity ahead of our evaluation with our selected speech therapist, Cassie. After mentally deciding to try a new therapist "for a couple weeks", the results we had with Cassie were indisputable. After just a few sessions, I was able to get my daughter to attempt words that I would say - a perceived impossibility just weeks earlier. My daughter started her journey with Cassie saying only 15 words; a few months later, we are counting well into the hundreds. Speech therapy became a highlight of my daughter's week almost immediately after we started - it's become a true highlight of my week as well. As with many speech delays, the road ahead of us promises to be long, but I am confident of our continued progress thanks to Cassie and the team at Susan Cohn and Associates. If you are losing hope like I was, do yourself a favor and give Susan Cohn a call!

They specifically told me to wait for a diagnosis code, then "forgot" to follow up. There is a total lack of clarity with the billing contact in their office. And then they insist we come in anyway so they can submit billing to the insurance and if it's not covered, it will just be one out of pocket visit cost. Sounds like they're out to make money, not help their patients- who in this case is a 3 year old. Frankly, they had more than 2 weeks to validate insurance coverage and are incompetent when it comes to communication. I mean, just pay out of pocket right? They'll figure it out later !
