I was in two minds about getting the Game Box or…read moregetting the Game Truck which is more popular and has reviews, compared to the Game Box which I had heard nothing about prior to hiring them for a birthday party. In retrospect, I would recommend spending the extra $100 and going through Game Truck versus Game Box, especially after this experience I had with them. The idea of video games on a truck for a young boy's birthday party is Heaven. I was pretty excited about it too, since I was a gamer when I was younger also. I didn't appreciate some of the sly remarks from the "coach" or the way he treated the children which is the main reason why I would probably never go through Game Box again. I had a great time hiring the truck, no hassles whatsoever. The day of the party, I reached out to the Game Box to confirm since I hadn't received any correspondence about the party since the day I originally booked. Thankfully, the owner of the Game Box called me back to confirm. She let me know that I would receive a phone call from the Coach an hour before the party. The party started at 6PM, so I obsessively carried my phone around with me so that I wouldn't miss the phone call from the coach. 5PM came and went, never received a call so I assumed the Coach would just show up to the party. Around 5:40PM while I was greeting guests, I had missed the Coach's phone call but had called him back around 5 minutes afterwards. By the sounds of his voice, he was pretty annoyed I missed his phone call. Then he arrived to the party and things seemed to only get worse. He opened the game truck for the kids at 6:05PM and all the kids got comfy on the seats. He went over 3 rules (1. no food and drinks, 2. no touching game consoles, and 3. don't put your feet on the seats because the seats fall forward). I asked him if the seats really fall forward and he said yes, that there is nothing he can do about the seats falling forward.... Interesting. It made me pretty nervous, however, the kids didn't do much moving around, so didn't experience the seats falling forward... thankfully. After explaining the rules, he went through each game console to make sure the games were set up. I was on the truck with 2 other mom friends of mine who were watching the kids to make sure they weren't doing anything wrong. I then overheard the coach slyly talking to one of my guests (7 yr old) and telling him off for deleting game content on one of the game consoles, even though I was there with him the whole time and he didn't do anything to the consoles. He pulled the controller out of his hands and started telling him off for deleting games. I assumed he didn't know I was listening so immediately jumped in to ask if there was a problem and then his demeanor changed. I was pretty annoyed that the party should've started at 6PM and there we were 20 minutes into the party with these kids who were anxiously awaiting playing the video games. Lastly, the coach was complaining to one of my friends on the truck that we don't realize how hard it is to change out the games and it's extremely time consuming for him to do that when a child asked for their game to be changed. This threw me over the edge and I immediately became frustrated and annoyed with the Game Box. I asked him if there was a library or board of options for games for the kids and he said "Just tell me and I'll change them out". He didn't even have options for the kids to choose and just put on a few games he thought they would like. I was hesitant to allow them to ask to change their games because the coach seemed so frustrated doing it. Overall, I would not recommend Game Box. I was really looking forward to using them at our Birthday party, but was heavily disappointed. And even more disappointed that I reached out to management prior to writing this review with no response. Spend a little extra money and go with the Game Truck. I don't have my own review for them yet, however, in the future would definitely use them over the Game Box and they have great reviews also!

Super easy for me since they were on the bus the entire time and having a blast. Highly recommend game box. We didn't get to use this company, but they were very responsive and answered all of my questions…read morein a timely and enthusiastic manner. They even made some suggestions just to be helpful and that went a long way. I only said maybe because I didn't use them.
