My custom enclosure installed nice and tidy. Very neat.

I found this business off yelp. It has been quite difficult to find a good 12v business that takes pride in their work and treat your ride as if it was theirs. I believe I found a home moving forward. Scott was a pleasure to work with. A clear communicator and even sent progress photos of my build. They did so good I dropped my wife's vehicle off right after mines. Great job guys. They also will install new customer supplied equipment.

Do not trust your car on their hands, the entire team is very irresponsible and dishonest people.

Everyone be aware of this dishonest business. I will share my honest genuine experience with this dishonest establishment. I drive two sport cars, I took my Audi TT to them in Jan 2019 . They did a good job on it (although I didn't open the dash to see what mess they might'd made) .I decided to make an appointment to have them install Security Alarm on my Mercedes SLK which is my Summer and my project car and was 85% done. All dashboard panels were purchased OEM Brand NEW from Mercedes Benz dealership in April and March I had to wait a few weeks for parts to arrive brand new from Germany. After all parts had arrived I painted them with special original paint straight from Germany and after I was done painting I made appointment with my personal car mechanic and he put the dashes in very carefully and gently as he knew this car has been very special sentimental for me for past 9 years. My mechanic took pictures of before and after installing the panels which all was shown including the process and done extremely carefully as he understood my attachment to this car as i made it known to them the same way. When I made an appointment at Sound Solutions and they asked me to come at 9:30am on Wednesday. When I showed up for my appointment I clearly and slowly indicated them this car is super special for me and I need to be present when the Tech open the under steering dash and when he put them back after he finished the work. The guy at the counter refused to do it and said this is not their policy to let someone walking inside the work shop but we take great pride of in all our work and we take pictures and videos of all our work before and after so I was convinced they doing the right thing. After waiting a long 3 1/2 hours right after I picked up my car the tall long hair guy (I don't remember his name) he looked very agitated and something must've gone wrong so 10 minutes later I parked my car on the side of the road and removed the air vent which was very wobbly and saw the dash is broken where the screws going to someone must've tightened them too much and it cracked the left side of the dash panel. After this I contacted my mechanic and he confirmed he got the pictures after he finished his job in June 8th 2022 and everything was done correctly. Then after I confirmed this I called than Sound solutions 30 minutes after and explained what happened they denied any responsibility and I need to go back to them to check it out. when I went there the guy there claimed the panel is 2 pieces so they only touched the underneath but I know its all one piece . They asked me to come come back tomorrow because the guy that opened the dash is gone for the day and coming back tomorrow . I came back today drove all the way from Annapolis early morning so the installer came out and looked at my car in parking lot and left. He claimed he didn't do this despite their video they have only shows before car went in for service and no after video which is extremely suspicious. If it was all intact why didn't they take after videos? I have video and photos where it shows where the screws damaged the panels and they claim this is nothing to do with them. It is my fault and they are not responsible therefore I showed them the bill of brand new purchase parts and my mechanic shop install them professionally since the have been working on it for past 8 years sense I owned the car. They asked us to leave and threatened to call the police. They cussed us out and was flipping us off. These people are not capable of taking a job done properly and not honest people working there. I wouldn't even trust them with a Junkyard car. I will see them in court. Officially the worst of the worst car experience of my life yet. It is just about the principal not about the money at this point. Just baffled how this business is still operating. The reviews on google must be fake or affiliated with owners/employees or families writing fake reviews so people believe them being legit. I do not ever recommend to take your car here unless you don't care for it. I recommend every single person taking their car there to check every single dash the remove and inspect every single thing and take videos and pictures of everything before you take it there. They do not see themselves responsible for anything at all, even something that can be proven to be their mistake. I will definitely take them to court with all my evidence and testimonies. It's not about the money it's about the principle of a business being honest and treating their customers with respect. I prefer small business but this one definitely needs to take a few business lessons or closes their business. Again don't support these dishonest people.

Rating: (1/5) I brought my brand new 2026 Chevy Colorado…read moreZR2 to Audio Connection in Towson to have a complete Vantrue S1 Pro setup professionally installed. The kit included the front and rear cameras, a hardwire harness, a Vantrue 256GB memory card, and a CPL glare filter. I was charged $275 for the labor. While the equipment is physically in the truck, the quality of the installation was completely unprofessional and riddled with basic mistakes. Here is what happened: Poor Placement & Redo: They initially mounted the front camera directly below the rearview mirror, completely blocking the driver's line of sight. When I pointed out that this was unacceptable, they ripped the adhesive mount off the glass and relocated it. Slapping a used adhesive pad back onto the window after pulling it off is lazy and compromises the mount long-term. Incorrect Wiring (Rear Cam Failure): They plugged the power cable and the rear camera cable into the wrong ports (swapping the GPS base and camera body inputs). Because of this amateur mistake, the system couldn't detect the rear camera, meaning it wasn't recording at all. Incorrect Fuse Tapping: The hardwire harness appears to be tapped into an "always-on" constant fuse rather than an ignition-switched source. As a result, the camera does not shut off when the truck is turned off, creating a potential battery drain issue. Leftover Parts & Lazy Finishing: They completely failed to install the Vantrue glare filter, failed to put the memory card into the slot, and didn't even bother to peel the plastic protective film off the camera lens. Paying $275 for a professional installation means the job should be done right the first time. Instead, I received a sloppy, rushed job where I had to correct the wiring layout, fix the settings, finish the assembly, and now have to re-address the hardwire fuse routing myself. If you care about attention to detail and want a dashcam installed correctly, I do not recommend Audio Connection based on this experience. It was an absolute lack of value for the money.

Will not be going back ever!! I spent well over 3k worth of wheels and tires on my tundra. Not to…read moremention all the other upgrades I purchased from them on my previous vehicle. They broke two of my tire pressure sensors and didn't even told me the sensors were broken. The sensors worked for like 2 days and my tire pressure light was blinking and my sensors would not read. So me being a mechanic, I knew what the issue was (Broken sensor(s) ) So I took it upon my self and fixed it myself. I scanned the sensors, showed they had plenty of battery life left but they broke the sensors so bad that the one sensor was showing the circuit board due to the crack. When I separated the tire bead, I saw that in order for the sensor to somewhat work they double faced tape the sensors to the inside of the rim and put a regular tire valve stem just above it in order for it to read..... So I purchased two new oem sensors from Toyota and had my friend who's a master tech reprogram the new sensors for me. So the response I got from them - " The Nut on the Valve stems on Toyota's and Honda's are know to seize and they are not serviceable, If the sensor stopped reading did he check to see if the sensors battery died? I can test them to see if they are still reading. We do 3-4 sets a wheels a week, We don't brake sensors, i will attach a video of the tool they had to create to fix this common issue that i'm sure your son is aware of, I apologize for the inconvenience but that tape on method would allow them as designed to work as long as the sensors reading. They are not required to be attached to the valve stem to operate correctly". The nut holding the sensor in place was not seized because before I got the new wheels I made sure the nut was not seized in order to get the sensor out easy. But, clearly I should have mounted and balanced the wheels and tires myself to have avoid this headache... Not to mention, had to pay like 170 some dollars out of my pocket to correct this issue... I'm just really mad that they couldn't be straight up with me saying hey we had two tire sensors break on us And this is what we done in order to make them read. I would have been cool with it if they would have been honest with me and instead trying to cover it up like nothing happened.... I get it stuff breaks due to it being plastic but you should always tell the customer what had happened and try to make it right..... I only broke one tire sensor since I have been a mechanic and it was a 9 yr old sensor that was cracked up already. Therefore, I will never shop with them again since I lost my trust with them and their dishonesty! I will tell me friends and anyone else to go shop somewhere else if they are looking for aftermarket wheels, tires, and accessories.

My goal was simply to have someone call me back...they were referred to me by my dealership...I have to rethink my relationship with them as well, but that's another story. Anyway, receptionist takes my name and number, explains that the person who covers the kind of work I need done is out sick, but they will get back to me next week. Of course the next week comes..no call... and by Thursday I decide to call them. Same young lady answers the phone, and honestly seemed a bit snippy that I was calling, that the person was still out sick, that she was working alone, etc, etc. Two weeks (!) still no call l, so I call them again. This time I get a guy, who could not have been nicer. He could not find anything under my name in their system on me (how could he? They haven't done anything with me yet). But he did take all my information, asked me to send some pics of what I wanted taken care of if possible, which I did). The next day he texted for the VIN number and he responded with a text indicating he got it and he would make sure to double check that I had transposed that properly. Please note...their first initiated contact TO me. That was it...Never heard from them again. I (again) called them two weeks later. Probably the same receptionist answered the phone, and once again she can't find anything on me in their system. At this point, all contact, including a visit has been initiated by me (with exception of one text asking g for my VIN). On this call I was placed on hold for about 5 mins, but in this day and age, I have come to expect that. The next thing I know is some guy gets on the phone accusing me of abusing his employee. You'll just have to trust me...I could not have more polite, and quite frankly was taken aback by his tone and inference. I tried to explain that perhaps the young lady had me mixed up with another customer (I was on hold for a length of time after all - could that not be concievable?). He didn't seem too interested, however I was really PO'ed and mostly incredibly offended. Nothing near an apology was coming from his (enormous) mouth. In any event, after reading reviews here and on their own site, it is clear to me that at least some of the positive reviews are created by their own shills...perhaps and probably by the owner him/herself. If that is true (and it most likely is) it is absolutely pathetic. Be sure, I will NEVER go anywhere near that place and will warn anyone I know that might be in the market for their services, to do their homework and look for another company with which to do their business. They seem bit "off." Most importantly (and unfortunately) be careful when reading reviews...it's probably more important to digest the poor reviews than the positive ones....just one guy's opinion.
