I went into sound solutions wanting an awesome sound system for my older Mazda. I had little knowledge on the subject but Ken was able to break down and explain different setups I could go and the pros and cons to each of them. #1 sold me on Massive 8" sub telling me as it was a higher end than the 10" or 12" and would be better???! then sold me massive door speakers saying they were so much better than my new Rockford fostgate's so he is a professional in the industry ( so I thought!!) so my son did originally install and used the solder connections and did make a little bit of a mess so I asked Ken to clean it all up and do it properly. I kept making appointments with Ken to go back because it would never work properly and the stereo would keep cutting out so I drop the car off and then go for a walk and tell him to call me when the stereo when he was done with the car because I didn't have anybody picking me up and I was just gonna be walking around as he told me it wouldn't be that long . he never ever would call and let me know. The car was done. I would find out the car was done by walking to McDonald's to go grab a coffee and then I would see my car sitting outside but not have a phone call yet so we wasted so much of my time on several occasions, he did the same thing . so we sold me components I didn't need the mass of 8 inch sub was not better than the 10 or 12 is nothing more than full of shit and a salesman trying to sell you things that he must have overstock of or whatever the case may be, but he's justfull of it. I will never step foot in that store again. I went to sound advice. Joe at sound advice, and his team went over all of SS sound solutions and the connections and everything that Ken was supposed to go over and fix he didn't do any of it all of the connections he could pull apart and some of them we weren't even together at all, Ken at SS solutions also told me that I couldn't add my 210 inch amps to the Massive 8 inch amp because they all had to be from the same company like they all had to be either Massive or Kenwood or whatever and then once I got to sound advice, they were like that's bullshit And he can connect everything my other 210 inch Rockford Fosgate subs. He could connect them and get everything working so when I left sound advice everything worked everything was good they got rid of all these behind the deck. Everything was so messy nothing was was zip tied or cleaner. It was just a messy freaking job From SS sound solutions so do not support that stereo shop they suck do shitty work talk to talk and sell your stuff but I've been there several times and they could never fix their shitty work now my stereo works good and I will never go back there, and the worst thing is at the beginning. They treat customers poorly and have little respect for people. Ask yourself why they are selling brands you've never heard of, and yet they claim they are the best on earth. Get to know the owner, then see if you can listen in on him from a distance and see if his demeanour changes. See if you can hear what he says about his customers when he think no one is listening.
