I came upon Wall Mount Tronics and was impressed by their website and the number of 5 star reviews. I gave them a call and spoke to Alberto who was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I told him that I hadn't purchased a new TV yet and he advised that he could not only source one for me but was able to book me in for that Friday. When I decided on the model I wanted, I texted Alberto with the details and he got back to me immediately. Not only was he able to provide the model I requested, he offered me the next model up at a nominal price. Alberto showed up on time and performed the installation quickly and professionally. Once it was installed he showed me a few features and made sure everything was compatible with my current set up.  Alberto was respectful of my home and took care during the whole installation. Having my TV stop working was such an unexpected inconvenience but Alberto turned this whole experience into such a pleasant one. This is an exception, since I'm writing a review after my initial experience; however, I've given 4 stars instead of 5 only because of my limited knowledge. To start, I found All Around on Yelp, where they have a number of 5-star reviews, but none are recommended - filtered out by software. Most, if not all, look legitimate to me, and only two are by the same user, but were submitted in different years. As a "geek", I find software algorithms useful: I'm not criticizing Yelp, and I understand that staff can't override the software. However, the end result - no recommended reviews - does not appear to reflect Yelpers' experience with this vendor. I messaged the business on Yelp late in the evening just before the end of a month (the busiest time for movers), and before long, the owner messaged me back. His response time was far faster than that of a competitor whom we've used before and could use again to move a piano. My aim was to have a piano, which we'd loaned to an aging musician in a care facility, moved, as he wasn't coming back, and passed away. Despite leaving and getting voicemail, we'd been unable to talk directly with staff. As luck would have it, Laird not only knew the facility, but a senior staff member, and when I left him a message, he quickly called back and agreed to the piano staying over the weekend. Meanwhile, we could arrange to donate the piano to benefit the community, rather than bringing it home - saving us money in the long run. The crew of two led by Rory was just as professional and helpful as Laird. Although we have no immediate plans to move, I'd definitely contact All Around if we needed help to rearrange big pieces of furniture like a Murphy bed, and highly recommend them.

And after getting quotes to install ethernet in my 1980s circa home, one never wired for ethernet, one that just went through a significant renovation where I, in my supreme wisdom said "WiFi is great, now! Who need hardwires anymore?" was now faced with retrofitting several rooms and office with ethernet and said, this guy over here, the independent with a normal sounding company name, yeah - lets go with him! Mistake!! After schedule, and reschedule, and delays, and reschedule, we got nowhere with contractor number one. Meanwhile, Roberto and Peter at Those Tech Guys had patiently followed up several times, continued to be pleasant and professional, and AFTER I said no thank you I am going to go with someone else! So I made the dreaded call back - "So remember when I said if things change . . . " Peter was quick to jump on the phone, and walk me through things at every step. Gave me a highly competitive bid, and an install time of only a few days from when I called. They cam onsite, were clean courteous, and efficient. They played with my dog (I mean who doesn't love a bowling ball Staffy Bull Terrier mix?) and made light work of the install, and the final cost (with tip!) was even below the initial quote. This was made possible as Peter walked my home and together we found opportunities to do things more quickly, and save a few dollars along the way. In the end, I didn't choose Those Tech Guys first, but you should. No regrets here, other than I should have picked them first!
