These guys have been awesome. Super helpful and reasonable! They've installed equipment in one of my vehicles and done a repair for me.

    Al's Pocatello Electric

    Al's Pocatello Electric

We purchased a brand-new Whirlpool front-load washer and dryer set from Pocatello Electric,…read moredelivered on 12/17/2024, because we wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing. The washer became inoperable around 5/5/2025. A technician came out on 5/12/2025, ordered parts, and left. The washer was finally fixed on 6/3/2025. We experienced another issue later in 2025 but were able to get it working ourselves. Then, around 11/18/2025, the washer failed again--this time locking a full load of laundry inside. That load has now been trapped since mid-November and is very likely producing mold, creating an additional health and sanitation concern. We called Pocatello Electric repeatedly on 11/18, 11/19, and 11/20, but were told they were too busy preparing for Black Friday to address our issue. No solutions or alternatives were offered. It wasn't until 11/25/2025 that Mr. Appliance came out and ordered parts. Between 11/25 and early December 2025, Pocatello Electric finally provided a loaner washer and took ours back to their warehouse--but only after my husband physically went and stood in their showroom demanding help. This option was never offered during our many phone calls. On 12/15/2025, Mr. Appliance informed us the parts had arrived. Due to a misunderstanding, they believed our washer had already been exchanged and returned the parts. When I called Pocatello Electric on 1/20/2026 to check on the repair, they didn't even know parts had been ordered and seemed confused that our washer had been taken to their warehouse at all. At this point, I've had to take our family of five to the laundromat multiple times, and we've only been able to use our washer for about 9 months out of more than 13 months of ownership. Despite the washer being taken in for repair within the 12-month warranty period, Pocatello Electric now refuses to pay for the repair because the warranty has technically expired--while the machine has been sitting in their possession since November. Yes, Whirlpool bears responsibility for a faulty washer. But Pocatello Electric is absolutely responsible for the poor communication, lack of follow-through, and disregard for their customers once the sale is made. We tried to shop local and support our community. We will not make that mistake again.

And we believe people change and try to hope for the best. Absolutely done with this location…read more Today I decided to surprise my wife with purchasing her a new phone and Mr Stuart verbally assaulted us at this location in our underaged daughter's presence. I take it they do not drug test belligerent employees he acted like an aging tweaker and I am not talking about long hair or earrings, I am friends with some people who have neck tattoos. We are talking about his facial expressions, tone of voice and demeanor. I do not equate professionalism with being cleanly shaven. In fact I find long hair cute on either men or women of course if they take their time to wash it regularly which was obviously not the case here. I gave this store like 11th or 12th chance, but that is it. Stuart acted plenty disappointed he can't talk us into a higher tier plan, or to pay $29.99 for his unique and extremely marketable copy/pasting skills, that he had spent years if not decades on sharpening and bringing to perfection, but we mostly use phone for calling and texting and not like Verizon invests too much in updating its towers in American Falls area. Mobile speeds and reception are way modest all the way to Mountain Home. I get it, Stuart is 30+ and having base salary of $10/hr pay plus commission is tough at times, but waiters at local restaurants have even meager base income yet any of them who is polite and attentive to our needs always gets tipped generously. Nobody cares how much you know, unless they know how much you care. Only tip for Stuart that we may offer is: find a real job (dude you are like in your 30ish! time to grow up) and stop scamming customers hoping to get commission. He just gave us a phone in the box (allegedly blue), wife opened it and it was of the wrong color. We wanted it adjusted. Reasonable demand. By that time he ran away and already grabbed another customer. Heavy built guy with a pot belly and a beard who stated he is a manager James I think was on the name tag treated us poorly after we asked him to show us the picture he showed us before where my wife picked up blue phone as the one she was given was clearly white and not blue, which is false advertising at its finest. Verizon can afford to hire at least few agents that are not colorblind. We use our phones for few years before discarding them so it is reasonable to be able to pick the color of a thousand dollar device. The decent manager would have politely offered my wife to rectify the issue and pick up a different color, that was all she asked as the one brought to us differed greatly from what she picked initially. My wife was visibly upset about his and Stuart's reluctance to do anything. Big bellied manager stated if they let her pick up different phone there would be a $50.00 restocking fee and Stuart came to us showed us his 3 ugly fingers and told my wife she has 3 seconds to change her attitude and facial expressions even though he was the one who had been acting like a dirty punk. Counting with his fingers. Yep, that pathetic. Nobody came to prosperity by spending money they don't have on things they do not need. We do not use our fingers for counting. Since Stuart used his preferred 3 here are three ideas for him to consider on his specific pass to progression: 1.Being a cashier at Walmart, a burger flipper at McDonald's, or a rep at a Verizon store shouldn't ever have been considered careers to sustain livelihood with, these really should be college kids looking for some cash or retirees looking for some extra coin. 2. Overpaying 3+ times for an exact phone case offered in US for $15.59 never made anyone smarter or healthier. 3. Smirking or laughing at customers who just bought a thousand dollar device made in China from you is a perfect example of bad judgement. He who laughs last, laughs best. Pathetic clownship has no place in a decent brick-and-mortar store. Felt like SLAP IN A FACE TO A LOYAL CUSTOMER. Is it customer service poky-style? Is FMC that toxic? Go figure. He is the one who should count his blessings here we are well aware about how to count money and where not to spent any from now on. Honestly I was tempted and took me great deal of self-restraint to not to do anything undoable, but I figured pathetic weasel is not worth a penny with a hole drilled in it. He treated my wife poorly just because we drove from small town and there was no comi$$ion in it for him, but my wife makes few times more than he does, manages a team of a few people and always treats patients no matter how wrong they may had been with respect and empathy (look it up in dictionary, useful quality in customer service). If a company was decent at least an official apology would had been offered and we would had been given an option to pick the same device of a different color. We opened the box in their presence.
