I have gotten a half a dozen vehicles tinted here. Last time they screwed up and lied about it several times. I payed for high quality ceramic tint, they put a cheap carbon tint on my window (which was confirmed by other professional tint shops). I paid for something I did not get, I did not get refunded for the price difference. There was also big problems with the tint: lint behind the tint, scratches in the tint film, and the film being cut too small resulting in daylight coming around the windows. Two of my door panels were sitting on my seat when I came to pick up the vehicle. I put both of them on myself. There were missing trim pieces for the interior of my vehicle. Dave's Glass and Tint DID go to a junkyard to replace these trim pieces in about a week. I reached out to the business, they denied these claims. I reached out to the Better Business Bureau(BBB) and sent photographs, Dave's Glass and Tint stated they would refund me. They never did and have ceased contact with me and the BBB. BBB has been trying to contact Dave's Glass and Tint for four (4) months, but no response. This resulted in Dave's Glass and Tint, no longer being an Accredited Business by the Better Business Bureau. There are quite a few professional tint shops in the area. I recommend going to a high quality tint shop, that cares about doing things right the first time, is willing to fix their mistakes, and not charge you for things you weren't given. We were on our way to Pocatello when we passed a truck and it kicked up a rock into our windshield. I called Dave's and they told me they could fix it right away for a small fee. It took about 30 mins and my wife and I enjoyed our conversation with the man who did the work for us. All around they made a lasting impression. I recommend their service. read more

Returning home to Utah and I acquired a rock chip on I-15 in the construction area. Called Dave's glass and wow, after the fiasco with safelite, I was in and out in 35 minutes. My 2022 Hyundai Sonata. Dave is a horrible business man. He did not install my tint correctly and after 3 times of him trying to fix his errors I finally took my car back. After this I found a razor blade cut in my seat, both my front windows did not work right and required money and time at the shop to fix. I made a huge mistake coming to this shop.​ read more

I went to this business by referral. They gave a great spiel. I had my RV glass replaced. It leaked and flooded the front end of my RV and even into the electronics. I pushed on the glass and it was coming lose from the seal. The product was failing. Due to weather and health issues there was delay in getting to their shop. It was parked the whole time as it was unsafe to drive. Finally, in spite of my concerns, after a reassuring call to their company, I drove to the shop, under the impression they were going to remove the leaking windshield and replace it. Instead they smeared urethane around the inside, without using proper primers and so forth. I started to question them about why the did that and insisted they remove the glass and do it right. I was argued down and treated like an uneducated retard. They told me they only did the seal as a favor because of there being corrosion. I asked them to remove and replace it, that I would pay what it would cost to do it correctly. They refused and sent me on my way. My vehicle was rendered inoperable. I have kept careful records and journaling. I contacted my insurance company. They sent out another company to do the corrective work. There was not one bit of corrosion. Why? It was a fiberglass pinch weld. Fiberglass doesn't corrode. The primer failed on the glass. It also failed on the pinch weld as the urethane was simply pulled off by hand. No tools required to cut it away. Why? They set the bead of urethane on top of old butyl. They did not properly prepare the surfaces for a safe and proper install. They lied to me. They put me and the public at serious risk as the glass could have fallen out of my rig while on the roads. I as well as the other glass shop, for insurance and legal purposes, took careful pictures and video recordings of was experienced during this installation correction. I used to run my own glass shop for 30 years. I knew what was going on. Rather than work with me, I, being an Elder and disabled now was being abused. They have been certified and trained and have failed to meet their obligation and accountability for that specialized training. Knowing full well what they were trained to do for safety, ANSI, AGRSS, IGA and NGA trainings were ignored and they deliberately rendered my vehicle unsafe. They flatly refused to honor the warrantee, rather making excuses and lies in hopes that I would just go away. read more

From what I understand Dave's used to be the place to go for auto tint. There is a new owner now who does all the tint himself. I had a tear in my tint on one window. For $90 they replaced it. It ended up looking worse than when I took it in. Not just bubbles but a crease and scratches or cuts in the new tint. They acted as if I was too picky but did redo it. The new tint job was better but still substandard. After two weeks I still have a lot of small bubbles, maybe from dust. There is a place on the bottom corner the tint does not cover, not big but... The tint color does not match my other tint. Now the worst part there is a cut in my paint almost the length of the window. Guess they must have held the tint up to measure and cut it against the paint. I am pretty sure it can't be buffed out. It's deep and too close to the molding. I don't like leaving bad reviews and never do but evertime I look at it.... I am leaving the review to save other people. Don't go here for tint! read more

This is the best glass chip repair place I have ever been to. I sent my daughter that I had dropped off at ISU and she gave us great reviews and then we were on our way to Pocatello/Blackfoot and got a horrible rock chip. They did a great job and did it very fast with treats and drinks while you wait. You even get to watch them and make sure you see the work get done. I recently took my 2012 Jetta to Dave's to make an appointment to have the windows tinted. This is the third vehicle I have taken to Dave's over the years and I have always been treated courteously and had the work completed promptly. The installation of the window tint was perfect - no bubbles or other defects, and no problems have ever cropped up. SO DISGUSTED at Dave Glass & Tint!! The seal squealed on my elderly mothers van whole trip took it back and was met with HOSTILITY. Real nice attitude DAVE! Yelling at a little grandma! The owner was totally unprofessional! He was hollering at her and treated her very disrespectfully, my mother in her 70s, he didn't try talking to her but yelled at her like she did something wrong. (We are all returning customers and they've done good before, forget it now). They said they'd look at it and found nothing wrong and it still squeals. So my mom had my brother pick it up and the owner started yelling at him and tried to then call my brother out to fight. I am very appalled at the treatment, IDK if it's our skin color or what?!? They told them -- people are always going back trying to get them to replace their windows for free. And I guess that's what they were trying to insinuate. We will never go here again!!!! read more

Dave's Glass & Tint gives great service at reasonable rates. They treat customers like welcome guests, providing complimentary soda, iced tea, coffee, ice cream, etc. to minimize the tedium of waiting for your repair. I must say, though, that my windshield replacement was done very quickly (and well), especially considering I called them that morning, hoping to get in for the repair in the afternoon. They made a special trip to Idaho Falls for the necessary windshield, then saw to that I got in-and-out very quickly. I couldn't be more impressed. read more

The best place to get a new windshield installed. Frank and Parker did a great job, even though they ended up being short staffed that day they still were able to do my windshield in about an hour. Having to wait for my truck it was neat to be able to watch how their whole process went. The experience overall was just amazing, hoping not to go back for a new windshield or cracks anytime soon, but I will when the time comes this will be the only place I return to. read more

We were on our way from Salt Lake City, UT to Georgetown Lake, MT when a rock hit our windshield. We watched the crack slowly spread. It was late afternoon, 15 degrees outside, and the next town was Pocatello, which we wouldn't make until after 5:00pm. An Internet search showed Dave's was open until 6:00pm - every other shop closed at 5:00pm. When I called Dave's to confirm, they said yes, they were open until 6:00pm but would stay open later if I needed them to. WHO DOES THAT??? We rolled in around 5:30pm. They had us pull our car right in and proceeded to repair the crack that was about 2" long. When we went to pay for the service they said "no charge" and have a Happy Thanksgiving! Wow!!
