I took my iPhone 11 here to have the screen fixed. It was pretty badly cracked and they were able to fix it within 2 hours, which was nice. After I got my phone back, I began getting constant messages from settings saying I didn't have a "genuine apple display." Also, every once in a while the lower half of my screen just stops working which has never happened until I got my screen replaced here. read more

I took my macbook laptop here because it needed a new battery. They charged me 300$, took a lot longer than expected, and now my laptop battery only holds charge for about an hour before dying completely. I took it back and they said it would be better after a few charges, which it didn't. I took it back again and they told me the same thing, until i finally gave up on them helping me. I dropped my phone and it shattered so we took it to get repaired and when I got it back I noticed how my touch screen was a bit unresponsive but didn't think much of it. I accidentally dropped it again and cracked it and now it is completely unresponsive and it cracked through the screen protecter. so much for that. quality of repair sucks. read more

I came here because of good reviews. I paid them to fix my cracked screen on my iPhone 5s. They did a poor job installing a new screen. The screen was popping out which damaged the LCD and made it unusable. I went back and showed them, and they said the only thing they could do is fix it again for a $10 discount this time. Ridiculous. They admitted it was their fault but blamed me for not bringing it back soon enough. I recommend paying the extra $50 and getting it professionally done by Apple or your carriers insurance. I wish I would have done that the first time. read more

I had only heard negative reviews about this place until out of desperation I was forced to use it, but I definitely agree with my peers' evaluations after using them. They repaired my iPhone screen, which broke within 2 weeks of using it (I had a LifeProof™ case and did not drop or place in water) and due to the fact that I went home during the summer, they refused to uphold my warranty, (which I was told would last 1 year, but only lasted 3 months), and said it was my fault and they could do nothing about it. I will never return to Sour Apple, because honestly, I feel as if they are a bunch of crooks. I had good experiences w sour apple in the past but after this experience I'm pissed. I went in and was told it'd take 2 hours... last time I went they were so quick, but I was like whatever they're probably busy. I gave them a number to call and they never called to say the repair (screen replacement on iPhone) was complete. So after 2.5 hours I went in and they said it was ready. But I immediately noticed that one side of the screen was thicker than the the other??? They said that may just be how this model of iPhone is and they had no other reference. I insisted that they re do the job (nor getting my phone fixed and end w a new issue). They told me it'd be another hour.... when I came back the phone looked good and I paid the $150 (pricy af lowkey). If that was it, it'd be fine, but ever since my phone has been glitching horribly. Not just apps closing but the entire screen turning different colors and spazzing out. I live out of town and can't just go back to have them fix it. Also while I was in there I heard another customer come in and say that after his repair, his phone shut off and not turn back on despite charging. So I cracked my screen for my iPhone 5s very severely. Went in to get it replaced and paid the $110 to get it replaced. I came in with almost a fully charged battery (about 95ish percent) I drop it off and have to wait an hour to get my phone, no big deal. When I turn on my phone I see my phone has 7%. I didn't think much of it at the time. Then I started wondering how they used almost 90 percent of my battery in less than an hour. I moved on. I charged it overnight the next day and in less than 2hrs of idle use. (Like checking every 30 minutes) my phone has tanked to 25%. It used to go all day without getting anywhere near 50%. They ended up replacing the battery and solved the issue. It was still a huge inconvenience. read more

Now recently I have to go in multiple times a week due to more and more things going wrong with my phone just a few hours after fixing one thing another will meds up I go in the next day and say they will fix it but I don't have time to go in so much. I've had two phone repairs done here with perfect experiences. Because Huntsville is closer to my home, I made the mistake of taking an Ipad in for battery replacement at a new shop in Huntsville. After ONE MONTH of being jerked around and lied to by the Huntsville business, I finally got my device back. Battery level dropped 20% in the time it took me to walk to my car. I drove directly to SOUR APPLE (a 1 hour drive) and was greeted professionally and told they would need to order my battery but could have it installed by the following day. If my device had been newer they could have offered same day service. But true to their word, even with the delay to obtain the correct battery, my device was ready in 24 hours. The cost was about 25% less than the previous ripoff repair facility had charged. Don't be like me. Take it to SOUR APPLE and avoid the stress and expense of an imitator. I have been to sour apple multiple times and have had no issues. However, I took my phone to get the screen replaced and had some issues. After I came to pick up my phone I quickly noticed a huge difference in the coloring of my screen. Everything had a yellow/darkish tint to it. Obviously noticeable and annoying. I then asked to have a new screen put on since I know that this would bother me, and they said they could. I then come back after the second hour to pick my phone up. Once again, the screen had a noticeable yellow tint. I asked the worker what we could do about this and the only solution they had for me was to wait a couple days for a different type of screen to come in and that would cost me an extra $40. I find this ridiculous because I already paid $70ish on the screen and don't really have the means to pay an extra $40 for the screen I originally paid for. I am just frustrated and disappointed. I just would have like to see a little more effort towards helping their customers. read more

absolutely frustrated. They fixed my phone in an hour yes, the screen was completely cracked. I needed a new phone case and the guy working suggested I buy the iFace case, because he said it was the best case he ever had. So, I bought the iFace case for 15 bucks, and two days after my phone was fixed with the case on, I dropped it and the screen is cracked again! Also, if that isn't enough, ever since the guy fixed my phone, it wont stop dropping the wifi! TOTAL BULLSHIT. I also can't find my receipt, so I don't think they will replace it again. DONE WITH THIS. DO NOT SUGGEST A CASE THAT WILL DO NOTHING FOR MY PHONE. I HAD AN OLDER CASE AT HOME THAT HAD LESS COVERAGE, THAT SAVED MY PHONE MANY TIMES! very unhappy. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would, worst customer service ever. I dropped off on Sunday and was told Monday, I called 5 times throughout the day and no answer. I showed up and they said Wednesday, so again on Wednesday I tried to call with no answer. I showed up after work and the two guys there were in the back clowning around, not a big deal since it is in a head shop. I asked if it was ready and the guy said he was really busy and couldn't get to it. Then he said Thursday or Friday, it's now Friday at 6...and again they were back in the back joking around doing a bunch of nothing, I asked if it was ready and the guy just said no. At this point I'm pretty angry, I've been getting the run around. Really disappointed I told him don't worry about it, and grabbed it and left. Upon getting home I noticed the casing is now melted, not only is it not fixed they broke it more! Worst ever, even if they are cheap I will pay a little more and go to a professional. While I was there a girl came to pick up her phone, she had a black iPhone and needed a screen replaced. When she got her phone back it had a white face with a black backplate. The girl was mad but said she didn't care she just finally wanted her phone. I'm guessing she waited awhile herself. Prior to all this I was getting an iPad repaired for a client of mine. I was doing it as a favor, and told him I had a repair shop near my house. I took it over there because the battery wouldn't hold a charge for longer than 30 minutes. They kept it for a week and then called and told me nothing was wrong. They were going to charge $100, and I guess they just didn't feel like doing it. Luckily Apple has a program where you can send in your iPad and for $106 including shipping cost they will replace your battery. And now it works! No thanks to the slackers at sour apple. This was an absolutely terrible experience. I had my iPhone cracked, and I went to get it fixed here. They supposedly "fixed" it. However when I left, when I held the phone to my ear to talk on the phone with someone and I took it away the screen would be black and would stay that way until I would hard restart it. On top of that my phone screen would not respond to the touch of my finger. I took it back in to get it "fixed," and they said everything would be fine. Then I left, and the nightmare continued. I went back third time, and they "fixed" it all once more. Hahah I thought. I left the store, and I opened my selfie camera and now that did not work. I called them, and they said to hard reset the phone. I followed their advice, and now all my phone does is turn on to the white apple screen then back off again. I will never go to this place again, and I hope this review saves all of y'all's time and money unlike me. read more
