Sourced Market is one of the most interesting spots inside St. Pancras Station. It is like a mini market full of local, organic and responsible sourced products. They sell a bit of everything: cheese, pasta, baked goods, meat, wine, bread, olives, some 'ready-to-go food', coffee... You can even find a selection of local beers! They also have a side where you can sit and have some food or just enjoy the famous Monmouth coffee. Which I do almost every day. And now, they also have a counter where they sell treats from 'The Cinnamon Tree Bakery', so a visits is always a must if looking for some amazing chocolate brownies! It is a bit pricey but reasonable for the quality of the products and the location of the Market. read more

I love this place! I went there the other day when I was passing through St Pancreas station. I had a great filo pasty square with spinach and feta & a lovely cappucino. Everything is British -the Best of Britain - says their sign. They also have a good selection of British ales. But it was a bit too early in the day for me to experiment with the ales! What an amazing place. It's like having a mini Borough Market inside St Pancras station. Sourced Market is split down the middle as a deli/shop. On one side you can grab some food to go (or stay as there are long tables and stools to sit at) and on the other side you can... shop. For food. Sourced is the name because they only sell produce from independent (and where possible local) food and drink specialists. All variations of food and drink too; oils, cheeses, pasta, baked goods, cold meats, fruit and veg and many others neatly organised around the open fronted store. A special mention needs to go to the beer section. Not only is it extensive and rammed with good quality beers but a majority of them are brewed right here in London. They've been 'sourced' from quite a number of micro breweries and a there's still room for some American craft beers too. Also, if you fancy a Monmouth coffee (as many do) then look no further, Sourced barista's can knock one up for you in no time - unless you enjoy queuing at Monmouth Coffee house in Borough Market for half an hour. I don't. Decision made. Or you can buy a load of it in a bag, take it home and make it yourself. They're seasonal, convenient, local (to me at least) and sell produce that has been made with a bit of love and care. It's open until 9pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends and, just as a warning, if you do visit Sourced Market you will want to take a a bagful of goodies back with you. You have been warned! Great place to grab some take-away healthy food if you're in London and rushing for a train, or need supplies for a long journey, which I quite often do. They have a wide choice for vegans, including a great many raw vegan items - smoothies, raw vegan chocolate and such. My allowance for dinner expenses from work is £20, and it's so tempting to pop in here and just buy £20 worth of raw vegan chocolate. However, last time I visited, I manage to resist this temptation, and got a few super-healthy items for my journey. I had a peanut butter and banana smoothie, a green smoothie that had avocado and other good stuff in it, a delicious salad made with chickpeas and other mixed beans, and of course, a few raw chocolate items. I felt pretty good that evening - this level of healthy food really perks me up and fills me with energy. This is definitely my go-to, fill your healthy boots, place to go when I'm travelling in London. read more

I discovered this cafe in St Pancras Intl station while looking for a takeaway snack for my train ride. The modern rustic establishment is an interesting mix of coffee shop, bar and local food purveyor, split out into stations with names like 'Coffee & Tea', 'Kitchen Deli', 'Cheese & Charcuterie' and 'Make your own Organic Ice cream' (note: don't get too excited, you're actually not making your own ice cream at all, you're just selecting your toppings to make your own ice cream creation) Their baked goods on display all looked delicious. I had a rooibos tea (newfound obsession) and the salted caramel cream donut, which was a medium sized donut oozing with cream and sprinkled with granulated sugar, which gave the whole thing a nice texture. This place is self-serve on the pastries and I appreciate the fact that they keep all food covered with plastic wrap. Heartier meal options, including hot items such as soups and pies, were also being served. A serious selection of craft beers and at least a half dozen wines on tap make for perfect accompaniments to the varied selection of cheese and charcuterie. I could easily talk myself into a pre-board glass of wine at this place and it would come with the added bonus of serving as my antidote for notoriously last minute harried arrivals at the train station and no time to spare. The USB & socket charging stations at each counter in the small seating area is thoughtful design and a nice travel plus! Sourced Market will definitely be my go to pit stop for future train rides. read more

Quick and easy, not too expensive, and everything is labeled. As a vegetarian you are totally spoilt for choice. Food is fresh, changing, and really high quality. Best grab and go food I've found in a rail station. Like good wine and beer? You won't find better passing through a major rail station. Gourmet coffee and tea, too. I actually look forward to Eurostar trips because I get to eat here. read more

I'm afraid I'm about to be a contrarian. I do accept that this place has a significantly better selection of cheeses etc. than the other mini-supermarkets it shares the St. Pancras space with, but I can't lavish, in good conscience, too much praise on it based on my own experience. Given that a lot of the trade will come from commuters, or those about to jump on the Eurostar, it would seem to make sense to me to make sure the portable ( and more immediately edible) food items, like sandwiches, salds, etc. are right. Or at least, right enough. It looks as though a lot of these types of things are bought in, rather than erm, sourced at Sourced, from ( I think) Hoxton Beach. I had the misfortune to try a falafel box set inexplicably dry, with a bizarre pot of chopped up tomato, and a sauce of [apparently] watered down HP and an equally inexplicable Morroccan themed sandwich, which tasted of beige. Not inspiring. The selection of nuts and nibbly bits is not much better than my local Co-op ( a verifiable fact they stock the same brands). Hoxton, by the way,has no beach. I would also add that neither Beirut nor Tel Aviv nor indeed Cairo are in danger of losing the title of falafel capital of the world to Hoxton either. read more

Every Wednesday for past 4 months I've been coming through St Pancras station to go to an evening class. And most Wednesdays for the past 4 months I've stopped by Sourced to pick up a coffee and a bite to eat. If I'd written my review after the first visit I'd probably it 4 stars. The food is delicious and there's a wide range of vegetarian treats. It's the perfect spot for a one off visit when travelling through town. But as a regular visitor the continued attitude of the staff, the high prices and the never changing food has ended the love affair. read more

I struggled with the star rating. I love Sourced Market and visited every return from London to Warrington where I used to live. Always excellent service; always really tasty food. This time my visit was a bit different. I had passed by the day before to scope out a foodie gift for a friend and decided that I would have breakfast there before heading North. I liked the look of the charcuterie sandwiches, but when I arrived at 9am, the charcuterie wasn't even in the window, let alone made into sandwiches. But I understood that - it was breakfast time. So, I scoured the menu and really appreciated that the Eggs Benedicts were offered as a single or a double (every restaurant should do that!). I ordered the Eggs Royale with Smoked Salmon. It was tasty, but to improve it, I would suggest that the smoked salmon be at room temperature instead of cold, and ease off on the lemon in the Hollandaise. It hit me like sucking a lemon until I got used to it after a few bites. It wasn't crowded and I had an hour before I had to be at Euston for my train, so I stayed at one of the long tables to fiddle on my Surface Pro. At all the tables, there were only 4 of us. But when the janitor in a Sourced outfit came by, he asked if I had ordered food. I explained that I had indeed purchased from Sourced and had finished my food. He was very grumpy at telling me to leave. It took me awhile to calm down internally, but I defiantly stayed. I looked at the other 3 people, none of whom were approached and 2 of whom hadn't received their food yet. So...hmmm...why was I singled out? It was a disappointing experience from a shop I absolutely adored when I lived in the UK. I hope it was just a one-off. read more

We love Sourced Market for charcuterie, cheese, and good beer in the middle of St Pancras International. It's not the cheapest, but for the sort of gourmet food they stock, it's not bad. I think their Jamon Serrano for about £21/kg is a steal, for example, and they'll slice it any way you want. Their cheese selection isn't huge, but they've got some good stuff there as well, and they're happy to let you sample. My only very minor complaint is that they never have enough hard tangy cheeses (although they usually have a good Comte), but that's purely personal preference. Most important to me, they've also got a very good selection of craft beer. Beavertown, Kernel, Siren, Five Points, Partizan, Camden, and lots more. Again, not super cheap, but not bad either, and very convenient to grab a few good bottles or cans while transferring through Kings Cross / St Pancras. Now if only I didn't have to exit the tube to pick some up! Oh, and they've also got nice big tables to sit around and nosh if you can't wait to break open the goodies you've just acquired. I haven't tried any of the platters they serve at those tables, but they've looked good when fellow travelers have gotten them. read more

Sourced was my lifeline for a simple coffee and well-made croissant every day while I was staying in London. With shorter lines than nearby Prêt à Manger and Pâtisserie Valérie, it was easy to get takeaway on my way to the train without wasting too much time. Also, this place introduced me to Cawston Press, which is a great London-based line of canned lemonades. My only regret is that, as I was only in London for a short time, I did not get to more thoroughly sample their extensive selection of sandwiches and other offerings. read more

I'm really quite a big fan of this place, I love when it's open when I have to catch a train. I've had particularly wonderful cheese, charcuterie, cars, brownies, granola, breads, pasties, and quite possibly the sexiest doughnuts that have passed my lips from here before. There are craft beers, sauces, pasta, wine, macarons, tea and coffee, fresh meat, sandwiches, salads, sound, olives and other antipasti type items, you're pretty much spoiled for choice. Its really great to grab and take home, on the train, to who you're seeing at the other end of the train, yeah and also not a bad alternative to the offering of mostly chain restaurants within train grab-able distance. The olives at this place are to die for! They are quite pricey so I don't come here for them often but when I have £5 to spend on a pot of olives(!) it's the only place to come. The deli, bakery, wine and cheese sections are lovely as well but as I said it's quite expensive so only come here if you feel like splashing out. read more

This is a wonderful little 'market' in St Pancras International. I say market, but it's more of an organic food shop with lots of lovely little suppliers. I was there for the official opening so I got to try lots of lovely freebies. But, I'd have bought almost everything I sampled. The usual suspects from Borough Market are there - Brindisa, Chegworth Farm, Meantime Ale. But you can find Flour Power bakery here (You MUST try the twice baked banana brownies) and some really yummy food from Stewed - certain to become a firm favourite with me. Is this place worth the trip alone? No. Is it a refreshing welcome when you've just stepped off a train and remember that you haven't got any food in? Most definitely. read more

I work quite close to St. Pancras station, and this place does by far the best coffee in the neighbourhood. Some of the staff make better cups than others, but they use Monmouth coffee beans, and they make good froth; it's not cheap, at £2 for a regular (read: small) cup of latte, but it's head and shoulders above the chains, and hence worth the 20-minute round trip to get there. The "market" as a whole is collegiate in style, with a variety of "stalls" selling various food and drink, which I haven't really sampled apart from the excellent biscuits to go with my coffee. Again it's not cheap - a latte and an Anzac biscuit after lunch and I'm down £3.60 - but it's good. read more

Sourced Market is great, and a real godsend to those who want a more continental-style food experience in St. Pancras. Anyone who thinks decadence is dead in KX has not visited Sourced recently. They cater to almost every desire, serving delicious hot pies, soups, sandwiches and coffee on one side and amazing charcuterie, cheese, beer and wine on the other. When I want to "show off" the area to those passing through for lunch, I invariably take them here. Also, the staff are terrific (with one or two noticeable exceptions). They are friendly, helpful and often quite knowledgeable about what's on the menu/under the counter. The coffee is, hands down, the best I have come across in the St. Pancras/King's Cross neighbourhood. Though the whole area is a bit sparse on the coffee side. That might change as KX continues its inevitable path to gentrification (along with rising rents and a higher wanker quotient--honestly, I preferred the prostitutes and heroin addicts to the shiny-skinny-suits, urban Amish, faux-furs, and kamikaze bicycle fanatics). There are only two down-sides to Sourced. The first is the seating arrangements. Unlike every other business in St. Pancras, there is no inside seating at all. Which means in the winter, you are essentially eating outside in the cold. Not fun. Why not install some low-level heating either free-standing or under the tables? When even the employees are so quilted and bemuffled that you can't distinguish their gender, let alone understand what they're saying to you, you know temperature is a problem that's discouraging customers. The second concern is the prices. For a place that offers no table service, and indeed, no _walls_, the cost of a bottled beer is quite high, and for a glass of wine, it's downright extortionate. Honestly, I feel not so much like I am buying a drink as I have been taken captive by the staff and am paying a ransom for my release. It's one thing to pay £7 for a glass of wine in a decent restaurant, but to drink it at a bare table on a children's high stool in the middle of a cold rail station? Ridiculous, especially when the bottle right behind you on the shelf is selling for £13. Ditto the deli counter--those pigs must be eating truffles and sh*tting foie gras for what 250g. of their rarefied flesh costs. But, gods help me, I still can't stay away from the manchego and chorizo. I think I might have a problem, one that only grows with each bite of hazel-nut-hand-fed serrano. read more

I travel a lot to Brighton and Leicester which is super handy as I can get to both places from St Pancras which is around the corner from Camden/where I live. WINNING! When you think things couldn't get any better I have this perfectly formed stop off point to wait/collect supplies from before boarding my train. Is it a bottleshop? Is it a coffee shop? Is it a juice bar? Is it a farmers market? God knows. But what I do know is that its darn good albeit slightly on the expensive side and sells basically all of my favourite things in the world (minus boys in skinny jeans and watching sunsets on the beach). I go here mainly to pick up some craft beer - they have a great selection and a couple of fridges too so that you can grab a cold one to have on the train. Beavertown and Five Points a particular favourite find there plus they sell Gamma Ray Beavertown on draft too (which is actually cheaper as a pint than a can strangely!). They also do good coffee, sell fantastic breads, cheese, meats, lunches etc They also have quite a lot of charging points especially in the coffee area which is always handy when you want to make sure that your phone is fully charged before jumping on the train. Stopped by on the way to the trains. This place is long, with take away to the left and eat in to the right. Their cheese and meat plate looked great as well as the nice selection of beer. But since we had to dash, we got food to go - chicken & avocado sandwich (okay), luxury salami sandwich (hmm), ginger flapjack (good), tea and coffee. They have a nice selection of all kinds of food and drinks. I just wish the sandwiches were better. read more

They had a very nice assortment of gluten free options, including gluten free muffins and prepared foods -- I had the garam masala cauliflower rice salad, but the other salads looked great too. read more

An open market on the concourse of st pancras station this is a useful alternative to all the chain cafes and shops in the remainder of the station. Seperated into three small units the choice ranges from cakes and coffee to cheese and wine. Not so much a market but more a series of shops and a takeaway for coffee etc. But nicely done. Local made produce of a high quality is available and well displayed. The cakes and pastries are delicious and further down the store there is an nice table to sit and share a deli platter and a glass of organic wine. Try the organic processco is gorgeous. The downsides are the service isnt too friendly and they close quite early so if you arrive twenty minutes before they close they would rather turn you away than risk closing 2 minutes late. Also they have some ranges that you could buy elsewhere for less price and it would be nice if more of the range was local and from smaller/more unusual suplliers. read more

Expensive deli food. Terrible service. Normally I don't mind paying a bit extra for quality food and quality service. Food is nice but the staff are increasingly disorganized, flustered and rude. I got an "eye rolling" and lecture when I asked for a bag for my food. Whilst the guy next to me brought his purchase back when he realised they had forgotten to add the mash to his pie and mash take out!
