Used them back in 2016, the company didn't answer our phone calls or give us the drivers number. We were left with two young kids at midnight without a shuttle in sfo airport. We had to get on a taxi and get home. The service from this company is terrible they even had the nerves to charge our card. It was disputed and we eventually got our money back but never again. I've used their service several times since they're cheap, but every time I've taken the shuttle from the airport they've made me regret the decision (their service from home to airport is more or less fine, since they come at about the scheduled time, and in any case, waiting at home is not a big problem). The problem is that they wait way too long at the airport to get one more passenger. Last time I took this shuttle, the airport attendant told us that shuttle services are required to leave the airport 20 mins after they board a passenger. The driver completely ignored this and waited ~30 mins to find more passengers. At the end I had to leave the shuttle and take a cab home. Not recommended. read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE I wish I had read the Yelp reviews before booking because they pretty much summarize my experience: A. 1 hour 45 minutes of wait at SFO, no apologies or comment by the driver. We were promised that the van would arrive shorly during all the waiting time... B. The driver broke the handle of my suitcase upon arrival by pulling it violently while other heavy suitcases were on top. It was outrageous and he said absolutely nothing. You're F*%ked if you use them. Don't use this company. They called me at my pickup time to say my ride to the airport was cancelled because "the van broke down". There was no concern that I could miss my flight and no arrangements for other vans to pick me up instead. As soon as I started to speak they hung up rather than talk to me. I am expecting a full refund. According to other reviewers this is a common occurrence and you'll have to dispute this with your credit card. I hope not but we'll see. With so many reviews with similar stories perhaps they just didn't want to pick me up. And if not they should have done more than just hang up and me and leave me screwed. read more

Worst airport shuttle experience ever used. I made reservation for 9.15am (reservation states that driver can arrive +- 15 minutes). Shuttle came at 8.30am (45 mins before), called me and did not explain why he came so early. I told I will try to be ready in 20minutes - then he waited for 15mins (i.e. until 8.45am) and said "I can't wait, i have to leave" and disappeared. My call to customer service did not help - they said that they can't help. If not the fact that I allowed extra hour, I would miss my flight because of this south & east bay airport shuttle. I have used this service about 15 times in three years. Over the last year they have become terrible. All of my experiences through my first two years using them were fine. In the last year they have picked us up late three times, by almost an hour, causing us to rush at the airport and almost miss flights. Once they even picked us up with almost no gas in their natural gas van and we had to drive into redwood city to the one pump they can use on the way to the airport and the whole way there the driver was literally saying out loud he wasn't sure we would make it and he told dispatch this twice, but he was sent on the pickup anyway. Tonight's experience takes the cake and is why I came to write a review. I booked a round trip drop off and pick up 19 days ago. They always ask for flight numbers when booking. They have your info. They know when you're arriving. Clearly, they don't bother to coordinate their rides around this information. After 18 hours of international travel I waited over an hour and a half to leave the airport after initially calling them. This is simply unacceptable. They didn't show up for 55 minutes and then I was told because it's a shared shuttle they have to wait 25-30 minutes at the airport once they got here. This isn't the drivers fault. They are for hire and often own their own vans. Just trying to make a living. They are always really nice. It's just the way the company seems to be run/dispatched is complete nonsense anymore. Do NOT take this shuttle, they have terrible service. Driver was late by an hour and 15 minutes. DIspatch lied to me about him picking me up, and I would have found alternate transportation if they had told the truth.I trusted them when they said he was on the way. Plus, I almost missed my flight and they have not responded to my inquiry about compensation. I had to carry on my bag as it was too late to check in and so had to throw out all my personal items that were banned from security. I threw out of products and I had to spend time shopping for them when I reached my destination. ZERO STARS! The STRESS was horrible and the driver said 40 mins was 'plenty of time' to check in and go through security and manage my own luggage. Well he was wrong cause there are lines etc. The manager has not responded to my inquiries and I would never write a review if it were not for the MOST HORRIBLE service I have ever received in anything my life. Rude, inconsiderate and bully about the whole experience. Terrible- UPDATE: After several emails back and forth and promises to refund for over a month, they have refunded my charge. I was booked for a pickup at 4:30 am the shuttle did not turn up..when I called the office they informed that driver would reach there at 5:15. I had a pick-up for a flight in February 2016. Unfortunately when I called no shuttle was available and waiting time was around 40min. This is why we refused to wait and we asked to be refunded. Cheap, in this case means terrible. DO NOT USE this service. (unless you don't value your time at all.) We reserved in advance online for a pickup. (I wish I'd checked Yelp first....) The pickup was 75 minutes after we landed -- we called the minute we landed and they had our flight info...... Dispatcher was not helpful -- could not provide remotely accurate ETA's for the driver. Driver (when he finally got there) was nice, but the way he was scheduled he was set up for failure and could not provide good or even decent service. If your time is worthless, and you see waiting at the curb at the airport for an hour+ as a fun adventure, go for it. Is there a way to choose 0 stars for a review? I would gladly give them a double negative. My absolute worst horror story of waiting for a shuttle in my life! I was scheduled to be picked up at 10:25 am but I was out only at 10:45 am and checked in with the guy out there (SFO Airport). He pages the shuttle and told me they were on their way, waited for 15 mins and called their number at 11, nobody answered first, called again in 5 minutes and someone answered and told me to wait 15 mins. I waited for 20 mins and called again at 11:25 am and then the person keeps asking me to wait for 5 more mins and I called again in 10 at 11:35 and told him to cancel the reservation which he said he can't do and I told him I will have to dispute the charge, still didn't care, was rude and told me to dispute it if I wanted to. So, as you might have guessed, I am pissed by now. Told the person checking in that I was going to take Supershuttle and went ahead and created a reservation and then 5 mins later they show up and the driver did not even have the courtesy to apologize, but simply said it was not his fault. I wonder how they are still in business. I mean I get it, you get what you pay for but this service was recommended by my friend and I should have known better to trust yelp more than my friends word! My observations during the hour - 7 to 8 supershuttles passed, felt like I was caught in a limbo. Also, every other shuttle company had 2-3 shuttles come pick up. This is my worst experience ever. I get to SF airport and call the number. A lady says the driver should be there 25 mins after my scheduled pickup time (8pm). I wait till 9 and no one shows up. After calling the customer care and being hung up by the person, the driver shows up at 9.15pm and says call dispatch and complain. He goes from international to domestic and back to international terminal. He lees waiting for god knows why. So finally I leave airport at 940pm. 1hr 40 mins later than my scheduled pickup time. I will be using super shuttle from next time reason being I saw 10+ vans when I waited. People start using that because of these kind of very horrible experience. I had to sign up for Yelp just to write a review on South and East bay shuttle. Very, Very, VERY BAD service! I used to recommend this service to all of my clients, but every time there was a complaint and what was even worst, my clients complained to me. Hallooo, I have nothing to do with tis guys, I was just recommending it, but I guess that was a mistake. Most of my clients travel to Europe and I had to find a new Shuttle service and the service we are using now is just perfect. They do charge a little bit more, but they don't make any stops, they do only Charter service which is a great thing after spending 15 hrs. on the plane and they are (for now) always on time. How do they stay in business?? I would give negative stars if I could. I made the truly awful mistake of hiring them WITHOUT consulting Yelp for reviews first - totally kicking myself! After panicking that my usual favorite shuttle company does not deliver to San Jose, I hired these jokers. First, they have this strange system where you have to prepay and print out a paper voucher for your ride. They scheduled my pick-up in Lafayette for 510 am for a 730 flight out of San Jose - seemed a little close, but not unreasonable. When 520 came around I called the first time, dispatcher told me driver had left SFO 45 minutes prior and should be arriving in next 5-10 minutes. When 545 came along we jumped in the car and drove ourselves, barely making the cut-off for luggage check-in (we were the last bags) and running to the plane for last call for boarding. All of this with 2 young kids in tow days before Christmas. When I called the shuttle company while we were enroute, the dispatcher told me the driver had to stop for gas, would be there in "10 minutes or so" and was indignant that we were not waiting for him! Nothing near to an apology for the great inconvenience to us including the unfortunate fact that we would be returning to Oakland and would have to figure out how to get ourselves from OAK back to SJC at 1030 pm with 2 young kids to pick up our car and pay for long-term parking. I demanded a refund during that call and later via email without any response. I ended up having to sic Visa on them and the shuttle company was rude to them too! Unbelievable. read more

Pretty bad service. Super late drivers and indifferent dispatchers. If you send an email with a 15 min margin if error and are 30 mins later than that, you should be refunding my money. Had to bail on a prepi voucher bc the dispatcher kept lying that the driver was 15 mins away for about an hour. Never use them for international flights. Absolute nightmare. When I was leaving town, the shuttle arrived promptly at my home and delivered me to the airport in plenty of time to catch my flight. Upon my return, I followed the instructions and called as soon as I landed. I was informed that although I had a reservation, they were short a driver and I would have to wait until they could free up another driver to pick me up at the San Jose Airport. I was also told that they only operated at the San Francisco Airport. When I questioned why the company is called "South and East Bay" when they really only serve SFO, I never got an answer. My plane arrived at 6:30 PM, I was told I would be picked up between 6:45 and 7:00 PM. I sat in a wheelchair in the garage of Terminal A and waited for the van to show up. Nobody came by 7:00 so I called. I was told there was a driver who would come for me after dropping off two other passengers. He would be to me in a few minutes. At 7:15 there was still no one. I called again and was told he was two stoplights away and he would be there in 5 minutes. After ten minutes, I called again and asked which terminal the driver went to. Lo and behold, he was in the wrong terminal, never thinking about the fact the I came in on an airline that departs and arrives at Terminal A. He finally arrived after I had been waiting for an hour. While this was not as bad as being stranded by my former Limo Service at SFO in the middle of the night, the lack of service on this occasion has convinced me that this Shuttle service is not concerned about their clientele one iota. In my previous few experience, the service was bad. The long wait and not being on time as scheduled. However, for the price, it balance out a little. My last experience will be the last one. It was the most horrible. Booked a private shuttle. When I arrive at, I call them and they told me to go to the spot where they pick up all passengers. When I got there, there was no one to be found. I call them and they said it will take an hour and they will see what they can do about it. They got back and said there was an option to take a shared shuttle which will have a one stop and the price will be reduce by half. Otherwise the private shuttle will now take 2.5 hours. Obviously, I'm not left with much good choices. I went with the shared shuttle. End up I had to stop at 3 additional stops. When I finally got home, it took over 2 hours.It has almost been 4 weeks and I still haven't receive my refund. I called multiple times and they keep lying and said they would have it that week. When I ask to speak to a manager, guess what, the guy said he can't call the manager because they are not given their phone numbers. Really terrible process they got running there. The prices is not worth the terrible customer service you will receive. Avoid this business. The other reviews show for themselves as well. Van was full of frightened passengers as he speed up the fast lane next to dangerous barriers, talking on his phone. Would NOT recommend this service and will not be using again. read more

I had to find other way to get to the airport that day. After my return there was no refund on my credit card. Called repeatedly without result. Got kicked off their website more than once trying to make a reservation to pick us up and get us home from SJC after a 4.5 hour delay at the Las Vegas Airport. My son finally called and pre-paid for pick up at SJC. Arrived tired and stressed and can't find the shuttle. I called them - phone rang 20 times and went to voicemail. Called the 800 number. Finally got a pick up. On hold for 10 minutes until they say, "oh, we don't have any vans available!!". Seriously??? Van from California Airport Shuttle at the curb. Gets us home instantly for only $5.00 more - and gets a handsome tip. Time for a BAD Yelp for someone! read more

For years Super Shuttle gave me inexpensive and satisfactory service, but after our experience on October 12, 2017, I will never call them again. I had prepaid for two passengers to go from Cupertino, CA to San Francisco Airport (SFO) for a week-day 9:30 A.M. flight to Chicago. It would take well over an hour for the trip from home to SFO. That morning they sent a text that we would be picked up at 7:10 A.M. No one came. At 7:30 A.M. the driver phoned to say he could not come until 8 A.M. ! I said that we needed a driver immediately. He said that he would call for someone else to drive us. I promptly telephoned Customer Service, but sat on hold for 8 minutes. Then I explained the problem to Agent #1, who put me on hold for another 10 minutes. Then I explained that the problem was urgent to Agent #2, who put me on hold for the third time. I confirmed that she had my phone number. We got cut off and she never called back. Luckily a neighbor drove us to SFO. We left at 8:15 A.M. and we never heard back from Super Shuttle. Of course we missed our flight to Chicago. In December, 2017, I went on-line and made a claim. I was sent a "Claim Number." It is nearly one year since I contacted Super Shuttle for a refund. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! I called the company from Chicago Airport to let them know that my flight was delayed due to fog in San Francisco and they said that it would be no problem. I arrived 45 minutes late after the initial appointment and the driver had left already. The dispatcher told me I had to take a taxi, which turned out to be cheaper than the shuttle. After following the procedure to get refunded, I called them several times and got blown off a couple of times before someone agreed to process the refund. The refund never came up on the credit card, so I just had to let the credit card company dispute the charges.
