Mike's team came by yesterday. My Weber Spirit Grill is about 10 years old. It isn't used a ton, but last time I used it, it looked like I was trying to signal another planet with the flame it put out. I usually clean it, but I recently had back surgery, so I needed help. My BBQ is 24 inches wide, so small. Mike's team (2 guys) did a beautiful job, and the unit looks like new. The cost was $300. The cost to replace the grill (I checked after they left) would have been $400. No complaint about the job they did. It was great. But I think the cost was quite high given the size of the unit. OUTSTANDING! I have a Weber Genesis II gas grill and called Mike regarding repairs and cleaning. He was not only friendly and easy to to talk to, but also was generous with his time, walking me through steps that might fix my grill at no cost! Other supposed grill cleaners that I spoke to wouldn't tell me anything, just that they would charge $150-$200 just to come take a look, and would not even apply that money the repair charge. One company, All Star Grill, which claims that they are the "Redondo Beach Grill Cleaning Experts" told me that they don't work on Weber grills and hung up on me - seriously???? In any event, I have found my go-to cleaner and repair true experts for my beloved Weber gas grill. EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! No job too small. Mike popped over on a weekday afternoon for my "grill emergency". I have a small, 2-burner propane grill that would not light. He diagnosed the problem within seconds and lit up the grill. After that he showed me how to prevent it from happening again, he also showed me how to clean the surfaces, grates and took a wire brush to the burner tubes. I honestly didn't know this was " a thing". After they cleaned and fixed up my 15 year old grill - it literally works as good as new. Was over at a friends house for a BBQ and asked about their grill maintenance. They recently had SBGC come by and the grill looked great. I had let mine go a litte so was a bit skeptical about using them and whether my grill could be salvaged (usually I spend $ on replacing most parts!). Yes, yes, yes. The reviews are all true and Mike and his team are AMAZING! So embarrassed to admit that we hadn't had our grill cleaned for over 4 years and it was BAD! Mike and his team didn't bat an eye and went to work right away. They brought all their own equipment and even had tubs to haul away the debris and gunk. I actually got a quote from another company and not only did he quote me much more than Mike did, he also asked to see where my outside drain was and seemed annoyed it wasn't closer to the grill. This person did not leave me feeling confident at all. I rarely leave reviews but I had to after seeing how my two built-in grills (smoker & gas grill) looked after Mike and his team spent 7+ hours cleaning them. I seriously didn't know it could look brand new again. I wished I took before/after pictures. Not only did he meticulously clean the grills but he also taped down some tarp on the ground around the grills, vacuumed the entire area after it was done, wiped down the floor, and left the entire BBQ area in better condition than when he came. He also replaced the briquettes tray that had deteriorated on my Lynx Sedona grill. Further, he was able to sort a date that worked for his team in very short order. They put tarps down, and they used a shop vac to keep things clean. They brought the required tools and cleaning basins to get everything looking great. I called them to come and check my barbecue, they have cleaned it in the past and did a great job with the cleaning, but now it was not lighting well.
