This is one of the lesser-known employment agencies in the area. I had a chance to visit them…read morebecause I applied for a position they advertised online. Upon my arrival, I was given a small stack of paperwork I needed to date and sign relating to the client company where I was to be assigned. Once that was completed, they had me go to a vacant computer to fill out more forms, this time pertaining to my personal information. When the electronic forms were all done, I had to take a typing test. The computer I used to take the typing test was S L O W and could not keep up with my typing speed on the keyboard. The website for the typing test also kept generating lots of pop-up ads which slowed me down even further. I took the test a number of times before I got a passing/satisfactory score. Drug testing was also required, so I was given a small plastic container and led to the restroom, where I gave a urine sample. Finally, I watched an introductory/safety video which was required viewing for all new applicants. Before I left, the recruiter said she would contact me on the following Monday (this was on a Friday when I came in) so that I could start work on Tuesday. When Monday came around, I never received a call, so I called them before the end of the day to find out what was going on. I was told by another recruiter (the one I originally dealt with was out of the office) that they were going to have a meeting with the client company to find out how many people were needed (or something to that effect). Needless to say, I was NOT happy! X-( Lastly, I got a call that Friday letting me know I will be working the following Tuesday at the client company, a local non-profit. Overall, this agency did as they promised. However, I took away a star for being given erroneous information. They shouldn't be telling applicants these things unless they were TRUTHFUL! I took away another star because the computer I used to take the typing test was slow and full of pop-ups. Employment agencies can be helpful in a job search, but I truly feel you're better off finding a job on your own.

In the end, the outcome was pointless, as nothing came from the interview. The entire conversation could have been handled through an email instead of requiring a video interview. It felt like an unnecessary use of my time, especially since no meaningful interview or job-specific discussion took place. Do not waste people's time!

Yesica was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. After a few days of nothing I get a text from Claudia asking me to come in for a second interview at 10:00am at 1:00pm not even 24 hour notice. Okay, whatever I just have three hours to find a sitter quick get myself ready for an interview,get my one year ready and make sure my dog is feed. Most importantly get my Child is dropped off and taken care off last notice and be there for the interview before 1pm. Parents you get were I'm coming from anyways, I really wanted this job so, let's do this. It's my chance to prove that even with little to no notice I can be on time. I will how serious I am about working for them and how realible I can be . My second interview went great. Claudia , stated she would call me at end of day that same day. She even repeated it said it twice. I heard nothing from her! I decided to text her as that's how we have been communicating, that she said she would call me today. I'll call her then I need to know if I got it or not before New Years so I wouldn't be in doubt and enjoy the holidays. She responded about two weeks later and tells me that I've been selected. That they are going with me but I mind waiting a while because they hire another person for a different position and want to get her train first before they can start to train me. I exciting accept. Sure no problem. And basically saying I hope she can give me an estimate time frame as to when I can start. This was Nov 29 it's now Dec 4 and I still heard nothing. I called them the first week of December and basically been ghost after they have hired me! I'm in disbelief on how unprofessional a staffing company can be. These business are in place to help people get employment . I get a call at the end of February! Job was offered verbally on November 29th. I get a call and then a text asking if I was going to be able to start as a recruiter assistant literally 2 month later after being verbally offered the position! Lol. You think I have time to wait for $18 an hour job while I have bills and a baby to care for. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. For people looking to find assistances in finding employment. I do not recommend this job agency. I am now a human resources recuritor and makes way more than what this company offered me and had the decency to treat me the way I was treated. I would never treat people looking for employment this way. I know how it is to be stressed out and not knowing how you are going to pay your rent and holding and declined other jobs for a company who has the balls to call me up to come in to work two months after the verbal offer was offered. I was going to be a direct internal employee! Imagine how they treat other candidates they are trying to hire for other hiring managers (warehouses)?!
