update finally after months of dealing with them Patrick told me he was tired if my non sense and…read moreto contact his attorney. got the engine re installed after putting new freeze plugs in it. took the vehicle to get the exhaust done on it then took it to the tuner to get tuned by bob kellison in creswell he does fantastic work but after he fired the engine and went to tune it. the engine has bottom end noise. so bob shut it off and told me to come pick it up and patrick Cartwright won't do anything to make the situation right. so now Im out several thousand dollars on this engine and it will cost 2,500 to get rebuilt.. I would not recommend doing business with northwest customs in cottage grove. further more I haven't even got to drive this vehicle due to this engine issue its been trailered everywhere it's been taken.

I had to wait a little bit before getting in the yard, but they were pretty busy and the wait was well worth it. Rather than being given a map and and spending a good hour searching for the car I was looking for, they drove me to the exact location and pulled all of the parts I needed. The guy who was pulling them even told me showed me how to swap out future parts that I needed. They spent a long time searching for the exact size spare tire I needed and were even going to mount one on a spare rim If they couldn't find one. Just when I thought that It couldn't get any better, the guy at the front counter told me the price of everything including the spare tire and wheel: WAY cheaper than any other place I had been to. I in fact payed that price for a only a couple of parts that were smaller at other wrecking yards. Overall, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. And the prices are very inexpensive. I will be returning here whenever I am in need for any part.

So I called Charlie from SWAT this morning to arrange him to pick up my '06 SCION XB and have it…read moredelivered to an auto shop to be repaired. He called me back about 15 minutes after our initial conversation and informed me that he was going to be tied up with an auto accident at 14th & Main Street, so he was going to get another coworker to handle my towing need. Long story short... the other person didn't show up. As I was growing impatient and calling around to other towing companies, Charlie showed up, lined up he truck(like a pro) and started hooking up my car, and apologized for the debacle regarding the tardiness of the other person not arriving to tow my car to the auto shop. He tried to comp me for the towing, but I insisted that he at least take a few bucks for lunch & his time. I thought that his actions were pretty were admirable, and next time I need a tow in the future, I will not hesitate to call him again. Props to Charlie for not leaving me hanging.
