She was in and out constantly regulating the medicines to make sure all the numbers lined up. After that Brooke and Claire were absolutely medically and humanly AMAZING as well! We felt that not only were they of the highest quality professionals but that they actually cared. You could "feel it". We were wonderfully blessed to be able to have this level of care in an emergency situation so close to us. Trust me, if your life depends on it, you'd be so fortunate to end up here.

When she did finally get a bed, she started losing feeling on her left side, starting with the foot, then the arm and then she couldn't talk! The doctor stood there and had her push against his hand with her foot and then her arm and literally watched her lose mobility. I said, 'she's having a stroke, give her the shot!' "We don't know she's having a stroke." Unbelievably, 2 days later, AFTER she was paralyzed on the left side, they came to her hospital room and told her that yes, she had a stroke! Can you believe such incompetence? I would not go there again if I was dying! And as for billing - I remember signing a document that said I would not be hit with 'surprise' bills after my knee replacements. Here it is 15 months later and I get a bill out of nowhere for $385. I have been hit with several 'surprise' bills from several surgeries, so don't believe it when they try to tell you that!

I felt very embarrassed and violated as I thought HIPPA protected me with privacy. A call center reads a one sentence script on results of my own tests which left me 3 steps removed. In making appointments one is left very confused with which company, what location or what medic. This is very important for insurances which I'm left to decipher. I wanted to write a different review for medic Sandra Robinson who was kind but not helpful. My gut issues were dodged not addressed. If its broken they see it. If not the obvious they deter it. Never a helpful resolution. I gave COPE/Ogden Clinic/Call Center (different company) one more go ~ They had an in house therapist for domestic abuse. She was very young and she was very rude stating "I feel your holding back"- NO training/knowledge in domestic abuse, No help outside of a shallow religious Davis County realm. We are in a Real World of violence! Help with domestic abuse, addictions, grief counseling or resources available for such traumas are not her thing. But I was certainly charged for nonsense! This whole place is a joke!

I had an outpatient emergency surgery and couldn't believe the kindness, service and care I received. Nothing about my situation was easy for the staff but they made it work. People stayed late. They didn't treat me like an inconvenience they treated me like a friend and were a joy in a dark moment. I also had my first baby here and when given the choice am choosing to have my second here very soon. It is small and quiet. There are no bells and whistles and pianos. There are just people who have spent their careers here because they love it.

I can't say nothing but great things about U of U Health. I came here October 13th to receive my…read morenew kidney. From the moment I stepped foot into the hospital, I was taken care of. Every doctor, every nurse to every one else in between that helped me recover did a fabulous job. The ICU nurses were attentive and caring. My nurses on the regular floor gave me a little more independence and freedom. My transplant doctor, Dr. Bluff has set the bar high for any other specialty doctor that helps me in the future. She was fantastic! My nephrologist, Dr. Jweehan was amazing! When you're going through your healing process, you deal with multiple nephrologists. Dr. Jweehan was my only nephrologist from the beginning til the end. She was the kindest, most passionate, most caring doctor. I'm happy that she was with me through the whole process. The facility is beautiful. It's a very big and stunning hospital. I appreciate that there's someone playing the piano in the lobby. It eases some of the stress I went through having to do labs multiple times a week. It was nice hearing such nice music while waiting for my name to be called. I stayed in Utah for 5 weeks. And every visit I had at this hospital was great. All the staff here is just nice. I think the only negative incidents that I had was a CNA kicking my husband and daughter out of my original recovery room and a gentleman who was dropping off my food. Other than that, my interactions with this hospital was fabulous. I couldn't recommend a better hospital to be taken care at. I have my 6 month check up on April. I look forward to coming back and seeing my doctors who took such great care of me.

I was surprised at how quickly they got me admitted and through the process. All of the staff were super nice, and we had great conversations. They were thorough in their assessments and explained everything throughout my visit. My husband was able to sit with me in the RAZ area, and he brought me dinner too, since it was late (pretty much left work and went down to the hospital - still had my badge on and all). With being admitted to leaving, my visit ended up being about 3 hours. (I had 10 patients waiting, before me).

Which he was very careless with the scissors leaving two thin cuts one on either lip. I feel it was intentional. Told Laura I was concerned about postpartum since I was high-risk because of PTSD. It was apparent Laura was not familiar by her questions. Cassie took my blood that first appointment and the bruising lasted three weeks. I had blood work drawn by Diane two weeks after and showed her my arm. Diane was an expert! Second appointment I asked Laura to have someone other than Cassie draw my blood. Laura asked about PTSD, my symptoms and what caused it. As I was telling her my story, she was very disinterested and distracted (my friend even pointed out how disrespectful she appeared). Laura offered to prescribe me pills. I have refused medication for years and alternatively use running 3-6 miles 5 days a week instead. 5 min after Laura left the room, Cassie came in to draw my blood! Did Laura not hear me? I awkwardly tell Cassie what transpired after last blood draw. She apologizes and asks to try my other arm. Says my other choice would be the hospital, with over an hour wait. I allow her to take it and no bruises this time. Third appointment Cassie takes my blood in same arm as second appointment. Two attempts. Two bruises. Laura comes in. Obvious she is in a rush. Looks at my chart. Up 8 pounds and 17 weeks pregnant. Tells me I'm gaining to quickly and states I'm only supposed to gain 15 pounds the entire pregnancy (see first appt). Asks me what my cravings are and tells me to go on low fat, low carb diet the remainder of pregnancy. Tells me I am overweight and she's had 5 kids so she's aware. I have always been heavier. I try explaining this to her but she wasn't having it. I lift and I run 5-6 days a week. Pre pregnancy I was also doing Keto and weighed between 145-152. 5'5" in a size 4/6. Yes on your chart I'm overweight. You're a medical professional and should know better. I included a photo of me at 14 weeks pregnant. She also asked about anti depressants again. Following third appointment, I completed the survey in my email. Andrew followed up with me the next business day. He was very pleasant until I refused to continue care at Lakeview. He discounted my experience by telling me how many women love Laura and her credentials. I understand, that's why I chose Lakeview for my first pregnancy. He said she may have had a bad day. That is unacceptable in my opinion in her field. A Bad day does not allow for insensitivity, disinterested, rushed care. Others may really like her, my experience was different. It was obvious she was not sharing my concern of postpartum or cared to learn about PTSD. Her care was not tailored to her patient, only the sheet of paper she was staring at. Which must have told her to prescribe meds and to have me go on a diet. Office staff was wonderful and always professional.

I am close to tears as I type because of the fact that I just had an experience tonight that a couple months ago would have sent me into a spiral. And instead I thought about skills I've learned (completely different skills from any YEARS of therapy I did before hand) and I walked myself through it. I feel proud of myself, and have the tools to manage this diagnosis now. I have OCD but I have seen friends (clients) enter the program with all sorts of anxiety disorders and leave so much better. Not healed- but better. In control. My brain is a little bit quieter. I've never had quiet before. It's amazing. The staff is INCREDIBLE. From the darling front desk ladies, to the CAs who help you in your treatment, the therapists, all the way up to the director. I have felt so much love, validation, and support. They have a great system to report any issues you have. When I had personal conflict with a CA, I was able to talk to the head people and they took my feedback super seriously. I have been just keeping my head above water my whole life. Now I'm swimming. Please go to an intro appointment and see if they can help you. They need these centers worldwide. I seriously cannot believe how organized, professional, kind, and knowledgeable this place is. I cannot promise it will help you. But i can testify that it's helped me and so many others. It won't get rid of your disorder. But it can help you live with it. I. Love. It. Here. I did the daily program and now am moving on to the weekly and then monthly appointments. I broke into tears last night because I will miss it. It feels more like home than anything ever has. Thank you. For helping me get my life back. And thank you for never undermining how hard it's been, for listening on all the tearful painful horrible days. For giving me the credit, and praising me for showing up. I did a lot of the work. But wouldn't have known how to do it without you. I've been trying to do it for years without you- and now I finally have traction. I'm finally keeping goals and progressing. It's hard. It's a grueling program. You probably don't think you can do it- but you can. Stay with it. It's so so worth it. All the hard days and ups and downs. My son's weekly regular therapist recommended the clinic. He gave me the number and when I called I…read morespoke to Conner. Conner was lovely and helpful. He set up a virtual video interview, of sorts, with Ash to make sure the program would be a good fit for my son. My son is an adult with Autism. Ash and Conner were both on the virtual call. Ash spoke to and asked my son questions for approximately 45 minutes. He excused my son from the call and spoke to me for about 10 minutes. He said my son did great and would be just fine in the program and a great fit. Because of my son's Autism, Ash wanted to make sure my son would be able to engage, actively participate, and have the emotional and intellectual ability to participate. We were thrilled that this program would be able to help him and that he was a good fit. I changed three people's schedules in order to accommodate the M-F IOP schedule for 12-17 weeks. If you are familiar with Autism, you know that change is not something they are easily flexible with. It took a lot of explaining and hyping up the program for him to be open to it. When he found out the Ash said he'd be a great fit, and my son was SO HAPPY that he finally found a place that could help him, "not worry all of the time." We started on Monday, August 10th in the Riverton location. My son got in the car after his first day and said, "Mom! I'm not alone, other people worry like me." He also showed me a note card that the therapists asked everyone to write the ultimate goal for the program on. My son wrote, "that my OCD would go away and never come back." I called our extended family and let them know how wonderful it went and how invested my son was. We were SO HAPPY. On Tuesday, August 11th, Ash called me to discuss treatment (his voicemail). I called him back and he said they were going to discharge my son from the treatment. ONE DAY. He attended ONE DAY. I asked him did something happen or what the reason was. He said the therapists notes said my son was, "Unable to identify the root cause of his worry." ON THE FIRST DAY. I asked him how ANYONE would be able to do that on their first day and wasn't that what the program was supporsed to helpf their clients with. He said that was a very good question but did not elaborate. He also said the notes said that my son needed more support than the group could provide. I reminded Ash that he interviewed my son and said he would be a great fit and reiterated that HOW could anyone dealing with OCD be able to identify it's root cause in their orienation session? They wouldn't need to go the center if they could do that. The program is 12-17 weeks so how do they expect someone to do that on the first day. The amount of planning, rearranging, and energy it took to make space for my son to attend this program was massive. I am also a single mom and had to postpone another one of my non-driving children's enrollment for SLCC so I could make space to take my son to their program. If I could give this facility less than one star I would. I feel strongly that my son was discriminated against becasue of his disability. There is nothing I can do, but I want others to know what happened to my son and to my family. I had to lie (chose to) to my son and tell him I removed him because I found a better place, but I haven't. I was heartbroken for him because he felt included, accepted, and Ash said he did great and would be great for the group. He finally found others who "worry" like him and he so badly wanted help. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Dismissive and discriminatory. An absolute disservice to the community to treat people the way they treated my son.

My mother-in-law has been requesting a transfer to Huntsman Cancer Institute for the past three…read moredays, where there is a dedicated team that specializes in leukemia and AML. We have already spoken directly with the Huntsman team, and they confirmed they have accepted her and that a bed is available. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Osborn and his NP Summer has been extremely disappointing. Rather than supporting her decision and ensuring she was fully informed of all available treatment options, they have repeatedly attempted to persuade her to remain at Intermountain. Their approach has left her feeling intimidated, pressured, and deeply uncomfortable at a time when she should feel supported and respected. One of the comments made was about the inconvenience of parking at Huntsman. When someone is facing a life-threatening diagnosis, discussing parking as a reason to discourage transfer is both inappropriate and insensitive. We were also told that transferring her would be a great deal of work and that Huntsman might not have a bed available, despite no confirmation that this was actually the case. Those statements only created unnecessary fear and confusion. Every patient has the right to seek care where they feel most comfortable, especially when it involves a specialized cancer center. We expected her decision to be respected and facilitated, not challenged. I sincerely hope Intermountain reviews how this situation was handled. Delaying or discouraging a patient's requested transfer to another qualified facility undermines trust and raises serious concerns about patient advocacy. My hope is that her request is honored without further delay so she can receive care from the team she has chosen.

I have been here twice ..and I have had two totally different experiences. I struggle really bad…read morewith self harm/suicidal ideation etc. so the first time I went a few weeks ago they were super nice to me and caring and just outstanding my nurse and doctor were wonderful looked at my cuts had the nurse clean them up and wrap me up. ...this second time this evening they got me in a room took my backpack,put in a locker were very very cold about it. The nurse came in and was like were just gunna bandage your cuts and put some neosporn and send you upstairs they didn't clean them or bandage them. The pic is too show how I came and left the er . No bandages no cleaning I tend to get infections so that's why they usually clean them. And the nurse was like upstairs will have better resources for you. Like I was a bothersome patient? It stands out as you don't see a lot of good customer service anymore, but at the U Health, especially at the Farmington location, but also up at the U of U hospital in SLC, it is apparent that there is a focus on taking care of the customers. Dr. Jensen is very good, she's attentive, provides encouragement and genuinely seems excited with positive results. She is warm friendly and the utmost professional. I really appreciate that Dr. Jensen and the U seem to value my time, I rarely have to wait when I have an appointment. I am seen on time and without much delay. Some Doctors and offices treat you as if their time is more important than mine. I don't feel this way at the U. Well done.
