I was told that my payments would be 500 a month not including all other payments summer school sports uniforms books etc. The point os time are tough and we need to adjust. I was told by Yvette Zamora that I could apply for another financial aid which she did for me and came to reducing it only 50 dollars. That's a wow to my face. I've reach out to the principal Mark Johnson phone calls left messages to return calls. I get the values of one's matters but this school doesn't. Sorry to say.

This time the visiting Rosemead Panthers defeated the El Monte Lions by a score of 64-49 (I miss Jon Kovac). Prior to that the Lady Panthers defeated El Monte by a score of 38-37 (girls varsity). Either way, 5th period PE always sucked because it was consistently hot as balls by the time we got out there. And I had 5th period both years ... I mean who likes to go through puberty so early? But once upon a rainy 5th period PE, my teacher selected me, Sadeer and Diahnna to go out and collect the soccer cones off the field. As good little robots, we agreed. The rest of the class remained inside a classroom on the other side of campus. It was cold and we were drenched ... AND we all had to go pee. We waited outside the locker room and then looked at each other. Sadeer: Who has the key? Diahnna: I don't. Me: I don't either. Sadeer: Sh*t, we have to go get it. Who wants to go? Me: I don't know but hurry up! I've got to go pee. Diahnna: So do I. Sadeer: Shhhhhhh .... hahaha. Ok, ok shhhhh .... Me: SHUT UP SADEER! GO GET THE KEY. Sadeer: Ok, ok. I'll go get it. So the other girls flee to the bathroom and I just stroll because guess what? ... no more urgency. After that incident, I wrapped my jacket around my pants and inconspicuously walk to the classroom where we joined the rest of the PE(e) class. All I could think was for once, THANK GOD IT'S 5TH PERIOD. One more class to go. After I got up from my 5th period seat ... I remember thinking "wow! I didn't know wooden seats soaked up that pee smell so well." But guess what? Any kind of embarrassment went away after I got home ... only because my mom knew how to express the exact words of comfort. Me: Mommy ... I peed in my pants today. The faculty is very nice and the security at school is very good since they lock down the facilities between school hours. My son has been going here for a few years and has had no complaints. The school grounds are pretty well kept so I really don't have anything bad to say. The education provided in this city isn't the best in LA but they are doing a decent job.

Please read!…read more When I went there, all I saw was a perfect example of a money-hungry school that seemed to prioritize its 50+ student jv team and varsity football program over its students in other different programs. It felt like the people who received the most benefits and special treatment were those related to teachers, counselors, or other staff members. Go Bulldogs, I guess. The school seemed more concerned with its public image than with the well-being of its own students. I've seen former students from other graduating classes make similar comments, so my experience doesn't appear to be unique. Maybe life isn't fair, and maybe I was just unlucky enough to attend during the same years as several counselors' and teachers' children. One student even had both of his parents as teachers at different points during his time there. There were multiple students with parents and staff,even one counselor and teacher both had two children attending the school. Looking back, it felt like there was one set of rules and opportunities for students connected to staff and another for everyone else.
